I called to talk about getting my hair done for my engagement party on a Sunday. I was told to come for a consultation on the Friday evening before, drove from Longmont. Got there, they had zero of the details I gave to the person over the phone, had no time for me on Sunday, told me I should have made an appointment more than 3 days in advance, when it was their own receptionist that told me to make this specific plan in the first place. After trying and spending lots of money in different hair salons in Louisville and Boulder CO, I was giving up to ever have my hair lighter. I had hairstylers who kept telling me that because my hair is black it will never be ash or blond. The lightest they could lifted up was to caramel or orange which I hate. Finally I try Salon M adore and "T" did my hair. She rather than focoused on telling me all the cons of my hair she was more solution center. She did a really smoothly balayage. There is no much contrast with my roots and gradually it gets blonder. Now I can keep the color or make it more ashier with my blue shampoo. She finally did what other salons couldn't do for years, and the price was very reasonable for all the work she did. I cannot be happier with her work and her sweet personality. read more

I needed a trim and some kind of easy style for a wedding I was going to. My stylist was very sweet but every attempt at curling and pinning failed. I left with my hair limp and dirty with the use of way too much product and a small braid that hung over my limp hair. I was so disappointed because it was expensive and I looked worse when I left. i never give bad reviews but this time the level of disappointment and regret was too much. read more

I would like to give this feedback solely on the fact that no one in the last 5 years has touched my hair who wasn't my girl Stephanie Reyes in Florida. Five years ok guys! So I was doing some investigating trying to find the right place and person who could deliver without me having a panic attack. I spotted a post in the local community where I live now about a stylist offering deals in August- did some lurking and saw various positive posts. So today I sat and poured out my worry about being a little too afraid about my hair being touched by someone new, Serena laughed and said I totally understand- that's almost like getting a tattoo you have to be sure! She was bubbly, energetic, very sweet and attentive to my questions and concerns. She gave me feedback on what I should be doing to prevent damage and also to provide healthy benefits to my hair... it felt like I was back at home. Her August specials right now are killer.. if you look on the salon page the rates she's offering are a steal! Today I was able to tone - wash- cut and blow dry my hair for $35... I would recommend them to anyone! The salon is in a shopping center and is small. I might not have noticed them except for the great reviews on line. Both of the stylists working there now are amazing! I have super straight, fine hair, and at my two appointments there, the stylists gave me the best haircuts I've ever gotten and charged me a fraction of the cost a more high-profile place would have charged. Wow! I've been getting my dark blond hair highlighted for years, and I'm not sure I've ever had a more careful, detail-oriented, attentive stylist than the new owner, Vela. She took her time and gave me the natural-but-fun look I was hoping for. This was my first visit to a salon since COVID-19, and Vela, who is a a mom as well as a very experienced stylist, was very careful about wearing a mask and making sure the salon wasn't crowded (I was the only client at the time of my appointment). The other employees also wore masks, as did I, and they also maintained social distance. The rates were also very reasonable for this area. Oh! And Vela gave me a a relaxing head massage and a great haircut, too! I highly recommend her and this salon overall. You won't be disappointed--and if you are, she'll fix it for free. read more

I am looking for something closer than downtown Boulder but one that makes me as happy as The Parlor and Celia I've had a few really bad experiences while experimenting in the past so I don't have unrealistic expectations anymore. Pleasantly surprised and I'm happy with the results and the cost! I don't mind paying for something GREAT but I've paid twice the amount for something... meh. So thank you Serina. I'm very happy with what I see. I'll be back I may have found my new place I just went back to get 2 more inches taken off. Damaged my friend's hair and dyed it the wrong color. When she expressed she was unhappy with the results, she did not receive her money back. Instead, they blamed HER and the type of hair she has for how it turned out. Absolutely lousy service. How dare you call yourselves professionals? If you want your hair ruined, just do it at home for a fraction of the price. Going to be sure to NOT recommend this salon to anyone and everyone I know, unless of course I hate them. I had an appointment with Moneyka on a snowy Sunday morning for highlights and a cut. She listened to what I asked for and I got exactly what I wanted. She warmed up the highlights I already had, and beautifully blended in the new lights at my roots. It looks natural and my hair is still soft! My cut also was exactly what I asked for-- my hair is manageable and I have gorgeous layers and no more split ends. Finally, she gave me a beautiful blow-out that left my hair with serious volume and really emphasized the cute layers. She charged a very reasonable price, and I will definitely be back. I've been going to this salon for quite a while and Renee did my hair. She was amazing! However, she no longer works there so I saw Zach. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with him and my hair will take many, many months to recover. He did not listen to what I wanted and ultimately did a cut and color that left me extremely disappointed and hating my hair. I left and shed tears over it! He told me to contact him if I didn't like it and that I could come in at no charge to alter the color and/or cut. I contacted him several times and got nowhere. When the owner (Casey) of the salon was made aware of what happened he immediately called me, apologized profusely, and has gone overboard to help. He has offered for me to come in at no cost and have another stylist work with my hair for color and cut correction. I have seen Jackie once so far, and she is great! The owner has been wonderful and it's a nice place to have your hair done. I'd give it a 5 except for my awful experience with Zach:( read more

I had a haircut with the own last week and it was so terrible. She didn't do a good job with my bang either. There were so many fly away from the bang that needed to be trimmed.
