When I went on The Laundry Spot's website I saw that they offered this service so figured I'd give them a try. I had a few questions so I called the number listed on the home page of the website, and the woman who answered referred me to another number for the pick up and delivery service which turned out is also listed if you click on the "delivery" link. I got an answering service and left my contact info and within minutes, James the owner called back and answered my questions and walked me through the process of setting up an account so that I could do the online scheduling myself. There were 3 convenient windows of times to select from for both pick up and delivery so I scheduled pick up between 8am-11am on Tuesday and delivery during that same timeframe the next day. I got a text a minute or so prior to them arriving both times and they were both within the scheduled timeframes. Since the home was unoccupied those days, I was able to text them the temporary door code I set up remotely and allow them to pick up and drop off inside in the entry way. The laundry consisted of two full sets of bedding, several towels dish towels, etc. All came back perfectly clean and nicely folded. Online I was able to select the type of soap (or even provide my own if desired), optional softeners, and add any specific instructions such as cold water, gentle cycle etc. I am so thrilled to have found this service! Since I'm a big fan of USEFUL technology, I'm very happy that I can do all of the scheduling from my smart phone, including paying the invoice. I was initially apprehensive about providing my credit card info and wanted to be sure the info was encrypted and secure. The owner, James, patiently explained to me that he's partnered with a few different technology platforms in order to make it possible to do all of this online, so it's all very secure and tested. One thing to note: because of the way the various platforms are linked, you see different URLs when you schedule versus looking at your account versus payment, but after it's set up it's a piece of cake. And best of all, the laundry comes back beautifully clean and nicely folded without me having to do a thing (I have back problems) so this is a wonderful solution for me. And the pricing is incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend trying this laundry service and supporting a great local Austin business!

So our dryer broke about 2 to 3 weeks ago so I have had to go here a few times to keep our clothes…read morewashed and dried. The staff is always friendly and helpful, they have quite a few washing machines though there are a few broken ones and at least one that can't get hot water but works otherwise. The whole back wall is dryers which seems like plenty and would be if it were not for inconsiderate people. Most days I have gone managed to be a weekday so no bad. This last visit was on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. Barely found a parking spot, but my big issue was the dryers. So many had clothes sitting in them, the cycle done but no one taking care of it. Not a great look when it is not busy but when it is so busy there are no open ones do better. I wish the laundromat had some kind of rule or did something if it is sitting there too long, at least when it is this busy. But otherwise it was fine. None of the TV's have ever been on, though that is one of the selling points on the wall. The first visit back in 2019 had one of them going. Since then not at all. They do sell cans of soda, water, and chips if you are going to be there for a while.

The customer service has not changed, it is still top notch. Bottom line, weekends are messy. I'll try to stick to during the week and that might help.

Just don't come hungry, because the vending machines are way way WAY overpriced. Like predatory levels of overpriced on some items, several dollars for a tiny bag of chips that would cost $0.50-$1.50 at a grocery store or convenience store is sold for up to $5.00 sometimes. Not sure if this if the owner's doing or if they are renting that space to a vending vendor, but it's really off-putting in a world filled with shrinflation and ever-present corporate corruption.

I was in the Arboretum area and made the decision to give Rick's Cleaners a try with a tux (jacket, pants and shirt) of mine after I had worn it for an event. When I walked in I was greeted immediately by the workers behind the counters. I was asked what I was wanting dry cleaned as well as the fabric material, which would inform them on what method would be best. Sylvia, who I believe was the business manager, took care of me very well and it added to my experience. The pricing for the three items was affordable and great. The turnaround time was quick, I got my items back within 4-5 days. Inspected everything and it was all spotless and perfect. I had such a great experience I immediately took another tux of mine some days after. One thing to note: when checking in on Yelp a coupon comes up for a "free item to be dry cleaned"--they had issues getting the coupon to process in their system--I decided to just pay for the item to be able to leave. It's so CLEAN, there's always machines available, and it just has a very nice presence inside. Most of all, the attendant here is the nicest man. EVERY TIME I come in, he greets me with "good morning! How are you?", followed later with a "see you next week, have a good day!"... i'm going to be honest: I really don't like doing laundry, especially on my days off. This man is the sole reason i'm able to enjoy going to do my laundry because I know wether i'm feeling terrible or wonderful, he will give me the most genuine greeting. I've been to other cleans before, and this one is UNBEATABLE.

I've only been able to get a cart not in use half the time. With a bad back and hip, transferring to either a low or high dryer bending so frequently from my own laundry basket, kills my back. Hopefully they get at least double the carts very soon. Been 2 months since they last said they were working on it.

Horrible business owner…read more I would give ZERO stars if I could. Brandon the owner is an unreasonable person and should not be in business with his attitude. I will admit that I have been satisfied with this dry cleaner for well over a decade until this week. I took pants in there to get laundered, I did not ask for a crease to be put into my pants yet it came back with one. I asked them to redo it without the crease. I came back again but the crease is still there and the owner, who said that the pants were made that way and there is nothing he can do. I told him I bought them without a crease- He still argued with me. When I asked him to reimburse me for a new pair he said no. I cannot believe how he can run a business like this and his customer is never right. I would highly suggest that you DO NOT do business with them knowing that if they destroy your clothing that it is not their fault and will not pay damages. I'm highly disappointed and will never speak highly of them again.
