Sometimes on a weekend or after work I have to wait 10-15 minutes. Today, I went in the middle of a Tuesday afternoon and I was the only client. I scheduled the next appointment within 2 weeks for lashes and eyebrow tinting, and the morning of my appointment, she cancelled...didn't offer another time or date at all. She simply cancelled! Ugh! I have an event tomorrow and I'm scrambling to try to find someone (anyone) who can do my lashes today. This is beyond annoying and completely unprofessional. Also, I got henna tattoos there when I got my brows done and the one on my chest was crooked. When I told her and showed her right after she finished, she kept babbling on and acted like she didn't know what I was saying. It was crooked. What rubbed me the wrong way was when I asked if she had punch cards for customers. She said no, then said not right now. On my next visit, I asked again and she provided a punch card. I asked her about my two prior visits and if I could get those punches. She then gives an answer that is not relevant to what's being asked. She replied "I'll punch it on your next visit." Well, ma'am, my next visit is for my next visit. I have had to ask her to sanitize her hands. If you've ever had threading done, the person is literally in your face and if it's post-lunch, you can tell exactly what they had or struggling with. Be aware that the area being threaded should be cleaned beforehand. It's irritating to remind the threader to do so. I wonder if this is in an effort to use less product. I need you to be just as vigilant with your sanitation practices as you are when the screen asks me if I want to leave a tip. Speaking of tips, the amount the screen shows is more than what's advertised. For example a 10% tip on a $12 service is $1.20, 20% is $2.40. Take the time to verify what's being shown so you know what you're saying yes to. The adjacent barbers are really loud with their conversations and music so there's not a lot of chit chat because it's difficult to hear. She is pleasant and patient and will listen to what you're requesting. I do like how she does my brows but need consistency in the simple hand hygiene practices and consideration if it's after a meal. By all means, take that coveted punch card each time you go and maybe, just maybe one day you'll actually accrue enough punches for a free service.
