Wendy is someone very special. She may be sweet, nice, and patience, but her emotional and intelligence quotient is not up to par. I can't tell you how many chances I've given her because I like to give a "nice" lady a chance to redeem herself. She had many opportunities to improve on nail tech skills as well as correcting safety hygiene issues, but she did not fix it, rather she makes excuses for it. Today, I had my underarms waxed. She kept re-waxing more than 3x in the area. She would not stop after I told her that I was hurting. Now, it is raw to the touch, infected, inflamed, and it hurts too much to sleep. I have a banquet to attend in a few days and I can't wear a sleeveless dress because she ruined my underarms. DO NOT GO TO WENDY. I've never met a more stupid beauty technician. read more

I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to share my experience. I chose a French set because I was told it would be cheaper than cat eye but it ended up being the same price. The price wasn't the issue, I just wish everything had been explained more clearly. Shawn did my nails. Even after showing a reference photo, the shape and French tips didn't come out the way I asked. When I requested a small adjustment, the response felt dismissive. The women working there were very kind. My experience with the male staff was not as positive. For the same price, there are better options in New Rochelle. read more

Love this nail salon! It is super clean. They do amazing spa pedicures and have lots of color options for gel, powder and regular manicures. I usually stick with regular manicures after having terrible experiences at other salons. I decided to give powder a retry today at Lily s and I was so impressed ! I get a pedicure every once in a while and this had been my spot for the past few years. However, after my visit there the other day, it will be my last. The lady who set up the pedicure told me to put my feet in the tub and she just turned on the water. Extremely hot water came pouring down onto my feet. I immediately took my feet out of the tub and she asked what I was doing and questioned me if I wanted a pedicure. Then she checked the temp of the water with her hand and added some cold water. The tech that did my pedicure did a pretty good job. I paid, tipped the tech and left; I'll never return to this salon. I don't know what that lady was thinking. 2 days later and my feet still sting. I think I'll be fine, but not a pleasant experience to say the least. read more

Every 2 weeks it's a Russian roulette as to who you get even with an appointment for the person. Lisa, the manager doesn't care... stick with the two male nail artists...but steer clear of Mia!! I really liked the atmosphere of this salon. I brought my 5 year old daughter with me for a mommy ane daughter date. The total came out to $65.00.. I got a gel pedicure and my daughter got a regular manicure and pedicure. My only issue was at the end when a young lady comes and asks for the tip and I gave a her a tip... but then she starts to say.. "is this for two people?" And she asks several times to the point of public embarrassment. They then proceeded to speak in their native tongue and laugh at me while Im still there with my child. I did not anticipate the price tag to be $65.00 and honestly I did not carry enough with me. This was embarrassing and I will not be returning. However, I felt the focus on the pedicure was more on rubbing my legs and feet rather than cleaning and scrubbing them. I think a lot of people probably prefer this, but not me. 2 stars for availability. Every time I come I'm disappointed. I keep giving them a second chance because of the convenient location and there's almost never a wait time. In the last 10 or so experiences I've had they always find a way to charge me more for less. Once it was to remove my gel nail polish to get a different type of manicure, mind you only 3 of my 10 nails still had gel bc their gel mani NEVER LASTS a full 2 weeks. They always only want to put two coats of gel polish. With two coats of a navy color it looks like sheer blue. Should I have to ask for a third coat? Isnt that standard to put an additional coat if I can still see my nail bed through the "navy"? And it's happened with a few diff colors on diff occasions. Got a pedicure on a January day and didn't have time to get polished and deal with wet nails in saran wrap. I was still charged regular price without polish. Isn't that 1/2 of a pedicure in itself? Not that I want to pay half price but shouldn't it be discounted? My feet were not even in that bad of shape and it was all of seven minutes long. Nothing special,no spa pedicure, no extensive massage. Just a cut and clean. Not even a coat if clear!!! $20. Sorry Lily I thought I found a nail salon to replace my tried-and-true old faithful one who is always rude, busy and expensive. But clearly I get what I pay for at the old salon. I brought quite a few new clients to Lily's as well but they all get SNS so I guess they are happy but I'm over it. Sorry Lily. I won't be back. I'll go back to my "bitches" on North. Will never come back to this place. Have been here a few times and staff not very friendly. Was there for a pedicure and had to ask the lady to scrub my feet again because she hardly did anything.
