I've had 2 bad experience here. first time was last year for prom and i had asked for square but the tips they put on my nails were too narrow and of course i couldnt get square as I wanted. Recently i had decided to go back because I thought maybe they had gotten better and because they are also cheaper. but no. the lady who did my nails did them awfully and one of them popped off within 3 days. I don't suggest getting nails done here. they are cheaper in price but I personally think better quality is better than what I get here. I'm never coming back. read more

I've been coming here regularly for a few years now. The salon is owned by a really nice family and the owners know most of the customers by name. Ashley always does an amazing job on my UV gel nails and she is a highly sought after which means it's good to book a few days in advance but I can also get in for a last minute appointment often enough. The salon is bright, clean, and stylish and the place is well kept unlike many other salons in the area. I shopped around town to find my go-to place and am happy to have found Cosy nails! read more

I stopped in for the first time for a manicure. My left hand has long nails and my right hand are much shorter. The problem is before you know it they are clipping your nails off with a nail clipper. nobody asks what you want except for the shape. I don't like the nail clipper I prefer filing. I wanted to keep my left hand long. Communication seems to be a problem here because the lady next to me actually started yelling at the woman doing her nails. I'm not sure there's a lot of understanding going on. Anyway, the manicure was OK, I'm sure I got someone who is new. You could see the difference in color between the first two coats. they didn't put the second coat close to the cuticles so there were two different colors going on. Chair massage, however, was the best part of this ordeal! An excellent chair massage. My friend got a gel manicure which turned out better than mine. Everyone is very nice here! read more

My nails suck. I asked for ombré and showed a picture to be very clear and I got absolute ass. I don't know where this could be ombré, my nine year old sister could've painted a white and a pink line and it would've looked better. My finger nails are completely different lengths. I'm so upset and embarrassed. You could get your nails done like you are the First Lady in the Bronx for much less then this place. Very disappointed read more

For the most part they do a good job (a few technician exceptions) but the real issue is they do not honor appointments. On the third time of having myself or my daughter wait 40+ minutes because they took walk ins and ignored appointments, I decided to go to another local nail place and had a much better experience. read more

I finally got into Cosy late last year. They are very nice. Unfortunately, they do not do the traditional acrylic nails so if you get a set of tips done with their dip powder system - there is no "fill-in". It means you have to soak it all off and re apply. Price point is a touch higher than my now shuttered salon but they are very nice and very clean. I feel very safe going there. read more

Extremely upset with this place. I'm in the area and was looking for a quick wax during my break and the women who waxed me completely burned and ripped off a layer of my skin. She continued to wax me a second time and told me I just had sensitive skin. Extremely unprofessional place. Besides the upper lip, I went in the next day to show the damages to the staff and one women speaking to me continued to laugh at the fact that her coworker burned me. I went to the hospital to find out I have second degree burn. read more

Would not recommend took advantage of my 15-year-old daughter today. Had her sitting in the salon for over two hours. Her cuticles were cut up and they charged her an exuberant amount. There are no published prices anywhere in the salon the woman I dealt with when I went back to get my daughters money was not only insulting and rude, but arrogant. read more

I'm new to the area, and have scoured the internet looking for a local mail shop that's decent. I eventually decided on Cosy, in hopes I'd be comfortable and they would do a good job. I called ahead and made an appointment as I'm going on vacation next week and because I work full time and am a mother- my time is very, very limited. I haven't had a pedicure in MONTHS, and my previous nail tech was godsend. She ALWAYS did a fantastic job. So needless to say, I've been hesitant since I've moved here to get my feet done. When I first got to the nail salon, I was told by a man to wait in line despite my appointment. An older lady, who appeared to be a regular and obviously wealthier walked in, told him she had an appointment for the same time I did, and he immediately took her back to get her feet done. I was very uncomfortable and alarmed at this point, not to mention anxious due to the volume of people within the small establishment. I should have walked then, but no... I couldn't think of anywhere else I would have time to go as this was my only time available before my vacation. After a few minutes, a girl named Cici came to seat me and get me started. I told them on the phone when I booked the appointment I would be getting a gel French tip manicure, and they had my appointment as a regular pedicure and gel manicure. I had to clarify twice what I wanted, and neither time was I informed of the upcharge in addition to the spa treatment. First thing I noticed was that the plastic I put my feet in was already wet before being filled with lukewarm water. I decided to go with the Shea spa treatment, which is $70. I figured that way, if she does a good job, I could tip her $20. $90 for a pedicure is much more so on the pricey side considering I usually pay $130 for gel toes and ANC dip powder acrylic nails. But you're supposed to get what you pay for, right? Not here. My feet needed a good exfoliation and callous treatment, and my feet are still calloused and rough and cracked looking. She kept the callous treatment on for all of 5 minutes, if that, where usually I'd sit with it on for at least 10-15. She rushed through it and took the bare minimum to make sure the pedicure was of good quality. The tips on my French manicure are different sizes, and she did keep my toe nails longer than I'm used to for a pedicure. Not to mention, an older woman was sat next to her giving a pedicure and spent more time looking at my feet and speaking in their native tongue and laughing than on her own client. The warm towels and stones were also lukewarm. The 20 minute massage was mediocre, granted I'm a bigger lady so it'll do because it's not like I came in for a deep tissue or anything. She used lotion on one leg and oil on the other... idk I could be wrong but I was bewildered by the entire experience. Now for the worst part... she took my purse and drink before I could grab them. I had to walk slow because my feet were slippery and in flip flops so it's not like I could have stole off regardless.. not to mention, I'm a bigger lady. I was slightly offended once again. You work in a public nail spa and you're touching my drink and my purse... not sanitary. I get up to pay, and not only did she add on $20 for the gel, but another $10 for uneven French tips and a $3 surcharge for using my card, all of which I wasn't informed of ever, not once. So now my total is a whopping $103 on the receipt for nails feet that do not look like a hundred bucks. I was startled. I go to sign the receipt, and I was planning on leaving a $7 dollar tip because I wasn't really happy with my experience or how they came out and $100 for a pedicure is much more than enough. But no... she pulls out a calculator, in front of other customers, and shows me a digital 20 on the screen and says "20 percent!" Then points at my tip on the receipt. I'm pretty sure it's taught not to check tips in front of a customer as it's considered rude, not only that but if it's a required 20% tip WHY on Earth is not added to the bill automatically. So, without further ado, here is my $123 pedicure that my purse was kidnapped for. ***UPDATE**** It's the next day and my foot is completely dried out and looks HORRIBLE! I cannot believe how terrible this is I'm sick to my stomach that I paid so much for this trash service! read more
