Had a great time on the alpaca walk! Easy to book online. Staff was friendly and informative. The animals are well cared for and look happy. Unique experience to try with friends. You may want to wear long pants as you walk through fields and trails.

LOVED this wonderful Alpaca sanctuary. It was a rainy day but we still got to see some fantastic animals. And feed them too. Worth the trip. Reservations.

I'm so glad I was able to get tickets! The staff here is amazing. I wanted to do the hiking but it was sold out. However, I still had a blast, they have a lot of different types animals here; chicken, horse, turkeys and etc. They have a total of 25 alpacas. They sure love there food. I can't wait to come back for hiking one day. Hopefully in the falls because it was super hot with the mask. They let us take pictures with social distance precaution and they don't overbook to follow there regulations. Thank you for a memorable experience.

I had a wonderful afternoon visit to the farm. We got to see Alpacas and other animals, then we took a long walk around the farm with an assigned Alpaca (mine is called Honey and she is sweet indeed). The staff is absolutely lovely and explain the ins and outs of walking these beautiful gentle animals. They have great social distancing game and the size of the groups is small. It was really a fantastic experience. They also have a sweet gift shop with cute gifts made of Alpaca fur.

This quaint little alpaca farm was the cutest little get away! We took the walking alpaca tour and it didn't disappoint! Very sweet tour guide and cute alpacas!

Beautiful farm, loving owner, happy Alpacas, Llama, chickens, pig, horses, geese... we had a wonderful time on the Albaca Trek with our Alpaca buddies. Charming store with beautiful products made of Alpaca fiber.

I had an amazing time at the alpaca farm! My family and I went on the alpaca walking trek! It was such a unique and fun experience! Definitely worth every penny! I love to support small businesses and experience new things! This was the perfect way to be able to do so! The alpacas are so cute and the staff is so friendly and helpful. They even gave me recommendations of where to go after. Wear pants on the trek because there may be ticks. And bring sunblock! They were able to take amazing pictures of my family and I! I highly recommend this place!

It's slightly funky and delicious! The farm store, where you pay on the honor system (places like this make me so happy), also has kimchi, eggs, frozen meat of various kinds, and a few baked goods on offer. Just be careful when exiting the lot. If you have a non-SUV, you're likely to bottom out. p.s. Friends just stayed at a separate apartment adjoining the main home on the property and it was quite charming. The creamery / dairy farm also hosts full blown farm stays, evidently. p.p.s. I scoped out their website after our friends stayed at the farm and had to share this page (https://calfandclovercreamery.com/cows) describing the beautiful calves with their beautiful mamas, who are responsible for this delicious milk. We caught a glimpse of them out back! Read about the Madre method for milk sharing, which Calf & Clover practices. Pretty darn neat.

When we arrived, on June 17, 2026, prime season for strawberries and snap peas, we were greated by a friendly young woman named Erin, who operated the admission booth. She provided us with two small containers for the snap peas and two larger for the strawberries and explained that we can pick whatever we want, and only pay for what we harvest. We acquired some beautifully fresh snap peas and freshly sweet strawberries. We visited the store, which offered typical farm store goods. There was nothing overly impressive about the store, but it is worth a look. We loved this place and even though it is more than an hour away, this will be our go to place to pick your own fruits and vegetables. We are looking forward to bluberries season in early July!

Huge place and great to bring the kids…read more We went for strawberry picking for Father's Day. I like that you only pay for what you pick. No entrance fee per person and no parking fee (Unlike many other farms). The downside was that there were not many strawberries. The ones we did pick were already wilting within 24hours. I think we caught the end of picking season. The farm is about 1/4 mile down from the market /cafe/brewery. The market is cute and has a lot of pantry items as well as fresh produce. They also serve lunch (chicken sandwich, etc). I was surprised at how expensive everything was. It was $18 for the chicken sandwich. It was well fried and came with a good portion of salad. However, the chicken itself was very small. It also took 20 min to be served. Another option is the airstream in the back. They were selling hot dogs. They had some local dogs that were pretty tasty. The brewery on premise was great. They had a play area to keep the kids occupied, tables/chairs and the World Cup was on. Can't really get better than that. There is also a goat pen in the back of the market. You can pay for some food and the kids can feed the goats. A lot of places charge you just to see the goats. This place doesn't haggle you like that. Great place. I wish they were closer to the city!

They've got all the varieties you want, but be aware that depending on when you go, only a couple of them are ripe for the picking. We just came home with a giant bag of Empires, and I couldn't be happier. Pumpkins. They have tiny decorative ones, medium ones for painting/carving, and larger ones for real deal jack-o-lanterns. Fun for the fam. There's a corn maze, a hayride that takes you around the farm and to the apple orchards, animals to feed, an obstacle course, zipline, water cannon, sandbox, tractors to sit on, tires to run on, a giant bounce pillow (like a big trampoline without the hard edges, and the one my girls live for: the giant slide. It's a pretty great slide. We've been the past couple of years in a row, and I'm not going to mess with a good thing. See you out there.

Either way, everyone's a winner. The petting zoo is much larger than others in the area, giving the pets and the customers a lot of space to roam around. You can buy your tickets online, or with the QR code on site, or with cash at the booth located at the zoo entrance at the top of the hill past the upper parking lot. The farmers market provides amazingly fresh produce, fruits, veggies, baked goods, and a pre-made food selection. You can order a fresh sandwich, sides and soup. A delicious bonus. Somethings look out for include sparce parking at the top of the hill where the farmers market is, but plenty further down and towards the greenhouse. Also seating to eat is located in the back past checkout in the playground area that is also lacking a number of tables, but make meeting new people an experience when sharing seating. A fun adventure rolled into one location.

Two well run food trucks As night fell a bonfire was lit. East Rock Brewing sold out of some interesting craft beer. But not before I had a couple. I would guess the crowd at about 200 people: Families, Dead-heads, and once upon a time Dead heads (such as myself) were all loving the time there. Some picnic tables fixed in place. many people brought in their own beach chairs coolers and even small tables. Lots of space remaining. Large grassy area where kids at the age when they need to run around could do so without being a problem for everyone else. A few people walked up a big hill, to the rear of the field, for a few minutes away from the crowd while overlooking the entire venue. One (of many) songs performed, took me back 40 years. When it was over , feeling deeply nostalgic, I slowly turned to check on my food truck pizza order. A woman probably my age said "You look like you need a hug". Never ran out of people to talk with. including the drummer and bass guitar player of the band. Would like to have brought someone here with me- but it wasn't necessary. The place really has a winning formula for an afternoon of music. Looking forward to another event at the Lachat Town Farm.
