I visited in early fall (first week of October) on a Saturday and the farm was packed! They have a…read moregood system for parking, pretty well organized over all, and this is key. Upon arrival each person pays a $10 cover charge that you receive a ticket for use in the country store in the amount of $10, so technically you get your money back as long as you buy something. Honestly the visiting experience was only okay, I am not sure I'd go back or recommend it BUT this is tempered by the fact that I did buy the biggest, prettiest mum and I may go back again for another one next year. I definitely have the nicest mum in all of Jersey City. I think it was around $20 for my huge mum and I was going to buy some apple cider donuts, but when I saw they were charging $18 for 12 donuts I put the package back on the shelf.

Honestly best apple cider donuts I've ever had + freshly baked , not stale at all and very soft and fluffy (but you have to buy it in a dozen, you can't buy individual) Lots of apples to choose from ~5-8 kinds from evercrisp to snapdragon to gold rush. Gold rush & pink lady were my favorite. Atmosphere: Loved for fall! There's was live music, plenty of apples and pumpkins to pick from, plenty of benches and seating indoors and outdoors for eating, and areas for children to play Dogs allowed! Service: friendly everywhere!! Price: cheap for entry, food is $$. You have to pay a $10 fee but it goes towards anything you buy. For apple cider & cider donuts I would say worth the price. Apple picking is charged by the pound

For about $35 a ticket we were there for an all day experience started at 11 AM. We arrive later…read morebecause it's Sunday and we like to sleep in. It was a very warm day with plenty of parking plenty of apples if you want to pick them pumpkin, squashes, preserves, apple cider donuts, and the list goes on and for those of you who like an alcoholic beverage, you could partake there were two places to get not just one. I personally enjoyed looking at all the animals chickens the goats pigs we love the pig races. They were cute little things smart too. The kid seem to be having a blast because there was a ton for them to do and we of course took part of the hayride, cause we're big kids. I didn't make it to the haunted mansion, but I did do the corn maze Which I think it's a lot more fun when you're a kid, but I did it. The chicken platter was OK. I do wish they had had some more salad options because I really can't eat a ton of this fried food but you know what what it's worth my float which was an apple cider float was delicious And the apple cider is as always superb It's a fun family activity not cheap but fun and you know what it's outdoor fun before the winter comes so why not

Not to be mistaken for a TRUE farm-to-market that sells primarily their own produce. For that you may need to go to Fishkill Farm. TIP: Focus on the baked goods in local Honey's. Read the labels to avoid more commercially produced jams. Very expensive and don't expect service with a smile. It's a great stop if you're on your way to meet up with friends or family and want to bring a hostess gift.

We were absolutely thrilled to come upon a farm or orchard that does not function as a money grab…read more Their policy of pick what you pay for is a rarity we see these days, and we find this policy to be the most welcoming and the practice generates the highest likelihood of repeat business. When we arrived, on June 17, 2026, prime season for strawberries and snap peas, we were greated by a friendly young woman named Erin, who operated the admission booth. She provided us with two small containers for the snap peas and two larger for the strawberries and explained that we can pick whatever we want, and only pay for what we harvest. We acquired some beautifully fresh snap peas and freshly sweet strawberries. We visited the store, which offered typical farm store goods. There was nothing overly impressive about the store, but it is worth a look. We loved this place and even though it is more than an hour away, this will be our go to place to pick your own fruits and vegetables. We are looking forward to bluberries season in early July!

Huge place and great to bring the kids…read more We went for strawberry picking for Father's Day. I like that you only pay for what you pick. No entrance fee per person and no parking fee (Unlike many other farms). The downside was that there were not many strawberries. The ones we did pick were already wilting within 24hours. I think we caught the end of picking season. The farm is about 1/4 mile down from the market /cafe/brewery. The market is cute and has a lot of pantry items as well as fresh produce. They also serve lunch (chicken sandwich, etc). I was surprised at how expensive everything was. It was $18 for the chicken sandwich. It was well fried and came with a good portion of salad. However, the chicken itself was very small. It also took 20 min to be served. Another option is the airstream in the back. They were selling hot dogs. They had some local dogs that were pretty tasty. The brewery on premise was great. They had a play area to keep the kids occupied, tables/chairs and the World Cup was on. Can't really get better than that. There is also a goat pen in the back of the market. You can pay for some food and the kids can feed the goats. A lot of places charge you just to see the goats. This place doesn't haggle you like that. Great place. I wish they were closer to the city!

The produce is absolutely gorgeous, the breads are nice, there is a nice selection of all of what you might want for baked goods, spices, sauces, etc. I found the kombucha that I was looking for. On 2 occasions they brought me to where I was able to find what I was looking for. I love a grocery store that celebrates food. And excellent food at that.
