Their quirky and modern greeting card selection features unique ways to finish off the present (their bags/tissue paper is typically all I need for a present!). The children's area has the requisite adorable clothes but also some fantastic holiday books and advent calendars. It's taken a lot of willpower to not buy one of the adorable "Gentleman" onesies for my son. There are also bibs, books, toys, blankets and items to decorate a very stylish nursery. If you're in need of a gift, you can likely find something here. I picked up a "Garden & Gun" book about dogs for my mother-in-law recently. White's definitely has an artisan, "Garden & Gun" vibe, with some practical items, as well as some not-so-practical, like a fashionable jar of matches that cost way more than a giant box of matches. But hey, that's kind of the fun part -- looking through everything. The prices also run the gamut. I was encouraged to take it in the bag "to keep it flat." When I arrived home, I noticed a damaged area on the front of the top (sold as a "vintage t-shirt"). I returned it but was provided with an excuse about why it would be damaged. I was also only given the open of a store credit. With a purchase of almost $100, I would have liked a credit card refund. When questioned, I was told, "That's just how we have always done it." The store employee followed up by asking if I needed a particular product that they sell. No apology at all. In all honesty, I wouldn't have returned to this store without the credit. So there's that.
