Service was super rushed, all nails were uneven and the polish was chunky. Will never be going back!

My first time here for a mani-pedi. The place was quiet with instrumental music playing in the background. I was seated right away once I picked the hue of polish for my toenails. I asked if they had the same color for my nails and they certainly did. I got my pedicure done first and the male nail technician did a good job. The water jets wasn't as soothing to my feet as I've experienced at other nail salons. While getting my feet done, a female technician came over to me and began to work on my gel manicure. Once my pedicure was complete, I went over to the manicure station to finish the rest of the gel manicure process. The male technician did a really good job on my nails. I liked that he put three coats of color polish on my nails. Other salons I've been to only does two coats. All was done within forty-five minutes. I was quite pleased. I came in to redeem a Groupon deal for a lavender pedicure and a gel manicure. I figured I had the Groupon bucks through Ibotta and I would treat myself or my Birthday. Pros: They were able to see me about an hour after I called to make an appointment, they had a particular shade of green polish (a shimmery spring/lime green) that I cannot find in stores (I gave them an extra star JUST because I was so excited to see that green), and with my Ibotta redemption, I only had to pay for tip. Cons: None of the staff spoke English. This was a problem for me because I have what my old manicurist called "problem nails." Basically, polish does not like to stick to my nails. I've had gels and acrylics just peel and fall off. When I get my nails done, I try to communicate this to my nail technician so s/he can make adjustments as-needed. The polish job was sloppy. I chose the above green polish and a shimmery periwinkle. My left hand has 3 periwinkle nails with lime accents on the thumb and ring finger; the right hand is the inverse. Both polishes are on the sheer side and needed more than the two thin coats. The lunula can be seen though the polish which makes for a really sloppy look. There are also spots where the polish is on the cuticle and the tips were not wrapped. Again, I explained that I am prone to my nails chipping and peeling easily; keeping polish off the cuticle and wrapping the tips (putting polish and base/top coats are two major rules for longer-lasting manicures. The manicurist did a poor job of removing the existing polish from my nails. This included a deeper lavender colored polish on the nails I had painted green. This would not have been a big deal, but because the polish was so sheer, the old polish can be seen through it and it makes the nail look dirty. When I got the pedicure and massage done, the man who did it started massaging above my knee. In order to do this, he had to put his hand up past the hem of my dress. Having a strange man rub his hands up my thigh near my crotch (all under my dress) was incredibly uncomfortable, but again, nobody there spoke English so it was difficult for me to explain that I didn't like him touching my thighs. The whole thing made me incredibly uncomfortable. The nail polish selection, while it included the shade of green I wanted, was lacking. I was actually hoping for a shimmery green with holographic glitter, but there was none. In its place, I asked if they had any holographic glitter top coats ("holo tacos" for any SimplyNailogical fans). The manicurist, of course, didn't understand what I was asking- even after I tried explaining that I wanted "glitter" or "sparkles" over the nail color. She claimed that they didn't have any which may be true, but I also can't dismiss the fact that she just said "no" because she didn't understand me. Definitely not worth the Groupon- even if I paid for it entirely through Ibotta cashback offers. read more

I purchased a Groupon. For some reason I believe establishments sometimes treat those who purchase a Groupon slightly different than those patrons who don't pay with Groupon. It's weird because establishments choose to make services available through Groupon. Upon arrival, since I had a Groupon I had to wait to be seen even with an appointment. That wasn't a big deal because the wait time was minimal. My nail tech took about 45 mins to give me a simple manicure bc of the many interruptions (phone, waxing collecting payments) while doing my nails. My pedicurist did a decent job. She forgot to give me a massage that was include in my Groupon and got nail polish on a couple of my toes. By that time, I just wanted to leave so, I didn't even make a big fuss about it. I initially went to Lily Nail Spa through a Groupon and have been going back for a couple of years now. In fact, I've pretty much stopped going to other salons. I've read some of the negative comments, and while I sympathize, I have to say that hasn't been my experience. The staff has always been courteous and professional. The facility is kept very clean too. The staff aren't as chatty as other places but I didn't go for conversation, I went for a relaxing treatment, which I received. I had a Horrible! Horrible! Experience today that too on Mother's Day!! I took man appointments for my Mother-in-law and myself today for a pedicure manicure. As I was a new customer it took me 10 mins more to locate this place. I called them to ask the exact location and I was not able to locate it, the manager said don't come as you're 10 mins late and we have cancelled your appointment. On top of that she lied that she called me to confirm the cancellation and she was so rude on the phone! Not sure how they run their business like this. I booked this appointment well in advanced 15 days before and planned a day out with my MIL, it's so disappointing and they totally ruined my Mother's Day plan. read more

The massage was so nice and relaxing. We both got glitter toes and they turned out cute. I think this was the best service I've ever received at a nail salon. There were two men working when I went in on a Friday morning. They did my gel manicure really quickly and really well, and the guy who did my spa pedicure was very meticulous with the leg and foot massages. The best part was the 5 min neck massage I got while sitting waiting for my toenails to dry. They were so nice and did a great job with my nails. Absolute worst pedicure I've ever had. It was so rushed. I was sitting in the chair for almost ten minutes of nail filing and buffing before I ever even got to put my feet in the water. The massage was AWFUL. Instead of rubbing the muscles in my legs and bottoms of the feet, heels, etc. all that he rubbed were the bones in the front of my legs and top of my feet. Have you ever had a foot rub that only included the top of your feet? It was horrible. Plus, the end result doesn't even look good. The nails are all different shapes and lengths. I love this Spa, they know my mom and I by name. They are welcoming to everyone; depending on the weekend it maybe really crazy. Every 10 visits gets you a free spa manicure. The second time I came the girl that works there sees me holding the gift card like I am coming here for a free service or something when I paid for the gift card! I bought a groupon for mani/pedi with 30 minute foot reflexology massage. The massage was ok but the mani/ pedi was the most horrific I have ever had. She cut my toenails painfully short and didn't even shape them. There is nail polish on my skin. I will now have to to the dr for antibiotics because my nail bed on my right pointer is painful , red and swollen the day after the service. The girl that did the mani/pedi rushed through the service while telling me that they have been so busy with groupon customers that I should have made an appointment. (I was the only customer in the place, so why couldn't the girl take her time and secure a potential repeat customer?) if you bought a groupon to this place I suggest you cut your loses and throw it away, the $25 isn't worth your time or a visit to the dr office for an infection. read more

I just used my Groupon for Lily's Nail Spa. Upon arrival I was greeted and given a bottle of water and asked to choose a color. Shown to my chair, once settled I placed my feet in warm water to soak. Almost immediately a man came over sat down without even introducing himself and began massaging my feet in the water. He removed my feet from the water and continued the massaging. He had a timer and did the reflexology the half hour as adverisied, it was very nice. When the timer was finished, he got up and washed his hands. Immediately after, a young man sat down not smiling, if anything rushed and seemed annoyed. He rushed the pedicure put my sandals on and walked over to the manicure table. He quickly finished brought my over to the drying station and left. The manicure was fair, he left polish on my skin and the pedicure was not too good he left ruff patches on my feet. He just made me feel like he wante to leave. The place was clean, however it is small And while advertising a spa the flat screen tv was on and you couldn't help seeing it. A show was on showing people trying to navigate through a amaze and being thrown, falling, or hit by large foam hammers etc. The only way to not see it was to close your eyes, it did not have a calming relaxing or spa like feel. As I left I was continuely called "honey" by a young women who may or may not have been Lily. All things considered I might go for reflexology but not a manicure or pedicure. Bought a groupon for 30 min foot reflexology - apparently they don't know what reflexology is as the man there rubbed each foot for 15 mins but was a terrible rub, he didn't even touch my toes and the rub was bland.
