First time here, asked for a soak off & re-dip, once I was seated i felt rushed, like He was doing the service very quickly. Which he was, because he barely let my dip soak for 5 minutes. Leaving behind the old polish, which can now be seen through my new set. The price I paid was not worth the experience. Minimal prepping of the nail, and cuticles. So dirty. It was obvious that they didn't clean anything prior to our manicures. Nail dust everywhere and there was no sanitizer anywhere in sight. She didn't clean tools in between uses at all. Also she only did one coat of color on my nails and filed them down as far as possible. I'm not the type of person to write bad reviews but it hurt to see so many positive reviews with nothing about the cleanliness of the salon mentioned. read more

I couldn't be more pleased friendly and clean place. Tommy did an amazing job, he's a great listener and shaped my nails the exact way I like them which is always the issue for me. I'm a hair dresser so my hands are constantly under water and chemicals. i was super happy with my nails they looked great even after a little more than 2 weeks no cracks, or lifts in between the cuticle an Acrylic.. I'll give them 1 extra star for the hospitality, but I just moved to PA from NJ and have been desperately looking for a quality nail salon. After much research, I settled on Lily's nails (based on the many google reviews) and boy was I wrong to choose them!!! I literally JUST left the salon and after having Kim do my nails, I'm in tears!! She barely filed my nails, and for some reason just liked to file one side over the other, she paid NO ATTENTION to how she was polishing my nails (so it was everywhere) and filed so much on the top, she made my nails thinner than they already are. I'm just horrified that she's even allowed to work on people. This is awful! Just the worst. Needless to say I will not be going back. read more

FILTHY HYGIENE. DRILL BITS ARE NOT STERLIZED AND I WAS BLEEDING FROM TWO NAIL EDGES. YES, MY BLOOD WAS ON THE CONTAMINATED INSTRUMENT AND IT WENT RIGHT BACK IN THE DIRTY, DUSTY SAUCER. You know when you get that gut feeling... RUN. Well, that's what I should have done. When I walked in the door a guy follows me in to yell at TOMMY about how rude he was to his wife. After calming this dude down, Tommy starts my nails. He was complaining about how the guy's wife didn't tip...I'm thinking whatever (insert eye roll here). TOMMY drilled the sh*t out of my left ring finger's cuticle area and then filed the sh*t out of my right index finger. I would give my nails a solid "C". I looked online at the prices. $30 for acrylic tips. I asked for the gel polish which must have cost an additional $20. You also must purchase a file and buffer. I'm fine with that. JUST STERILIZE YOUR INSTRUMENTS! I can't believe this business is still in operation. THIS IS A DEFINITE HEALTH VIOLATION. I do have photos of my bleeding, sliced fingers. read more

Not a great atmosphere. The customers were on their phone or dumping their five year olds on the beauticians to babysit. And the job wasn't so great. My nails were poorly shaped. Also she had me cure the top coat on my gel nails for 2 minutes. Not sure what this does except increase my risk for cancer. She couldn't explain why either. read more

Recently moved to Macungie and I was excited to see nail salons nearby. I must say that my expectations were far exceeded with my visit to Lily's Nails today! All of the staff were friendly and helpful with all of the customers. I got the deluxe pedicure and it was an amazing experience; they do have a lot of options for gel colors. While I was there I did notice several individuals that seemed to be regulars which, to me is always a good sign. I definitely look forward to going back for further nail and pedicure appointments! read more

In my opinion, even one star is too many to offer. I had the worst experience ever. I have been getting my nails done in many different places for over 30 years. I would never recommend this salon. I got a clear gel manicure with glitter. I have short nails, no tips. Not only did the attendant not speak English, (very frustrating), but made my nails even shorter. The polish was glopped on and did not cover the full nail. To make matters worse, I was with my daughter. The "supposed" male owner was so disrespectful and downright rude. My daughter had to go to another salon and pay more money to fix the mistakes made at Lily. In my opinion, we should not have been charged for such slovenly work. I will most definitely not be returning and would caution others if you want a nice relaxing enjoyable experience, you won't receive that at this establishment. read more

Went in for a pedicure because my heels were dry and cracking. They had me pick my color and let me soak for about 10-15 minutes. My lady added something to the soak and used a pumice stone. Afterwards she worked on cleaning my cuticles and shaped my toes nails nicely! Afterwards she added 2 kinds of lotions and gave me a small massage. She then added the polish and I sat under the UV for 2 cycles. They are all Vietnamese and have come from Vietnam. Some are better at English than others. I am a Vietnamese-American with limited speaking skills but I can understand most of what they were saying. They never really talked much about the clients but instead talked to each other with some small talk, prices, and who does what. Most of the clients seemed a bit uncomfortable by this. But if you're talkative they'll try their best to respond. Basically they never learned any English. If they seem curt then it's because they don't know all the proper expressions. Overall the service was fast done in about 50 minutes. The ladies were nice and had good intentions. And my feet are now smooth and my nails look great! Also they did seem to have a lot of regulars, who also don't happen to be angry yelpers :) Btw they have a machine that autoclaves/sanitize the equipment. read more

Average experience. Staff was pretty friendly, but I wasn't impressed with my nails. When you're paying $63 for a liquid gel fill, you would think you'd be impressed!! The shape of a few of my nails are uneven, the filing of the liquid gel is uneven on multiple fingers, and the polish is patchy in spots. Made reservations and took my two daughters for mani and pedicure. Ladies were nice enough but male doing nails was obnoxious when I tried to ask a question. Should have walked out then! I went here a few times when it first opened. I found a woman who did a decent job, but she was so slow (about an hour for a manicure). Most of the other girls were sloppy. On top of that, I found that they were reusing equipment without santizing it. That was my last visit. There is no reason to not sanitize equipment between customers. On the bright side, they processed my card incorrectly the last time I was in there, giving me a refund for the amount instead of charging me. I'll consider it payback for trying to clip my cuticles with dirty tools. read more

I had my nails done on a Monday, by Tuesday, two were broken. It took me a couple of days to get back but I simply wanted to get the 2 nails fixed. What I didn't expect was how rude the man was who runs the salon. He accused me of opening boxes or something really hard on my nails, he claimed he had never seen anything like that in 25 years. There is no such thing as gel powder. Think about it! This salon is charging almost $15.00 more for a top clear coat of polish because they place your hands under a blue UV light. Don't fall for it! They also have a spa pedicure for about $20 more than the regular pedicure. Admittingly, I came on for a spa pedicure about a half hour before closing time. They were quick to accept my money for this "extravagant" service but were even quicker to finish. The complete pedicure took 20 minutes including the initial presoak time. My heels were just as cracked as they were before I went in. I came back to speak to Tommy, the mgr. He did offer too have someone else fix my heels but also explained that heels will always be cracked regardless of how much the tech work on it. (Disagree. Invest in a jar of blue goo. I really like this place. They always use sanitized tools (I watch them open the pack). I have been here 4 times and really like the relaxed atmosphere. The pedicures are great and last for 3-4 weeks. I got a shellac manicure the last time and that was wonderful. The staff is super friendly, but don't expect a ton of conversation they speak primarily Vietnamese. One other thing to note is that you need to bring cash for a tip. read more
