Everything is low carb, low sugar, and low calorie so great place to get a sweet, cold treat during the summer months without worrying about the nutritional side. Classic example of lots of lost potential…read more Unlike my last review of Whateburger (which really encompassed my feelings towards the entire chain), this review is of this specific Freddy's location. When they opened in Corpus Christi a few years back, the citizens were amped - we were about to receive a real "diner burger" chain. I was amongst those excited to see them come to town. I have been here several times over the years, and have watched them deteroriate. I believe the staff are nice and all, but they do not take great care of the restaurant, and from what I have heard, the food preparation quality has also diminished. From my perspective, a fast food place is only of value to me at this point in my life if I can easily order à la carte. I recently dined here for the first time in a while. The nice cashier did struggle to take my order, but with some proper coaching (I'm a pro at this now), was able to properly process my meat patty order. Cool! I came back a few days later to repeat my experience. I was met by the manager, who made it very clear to me that I was not to game their system, and encouraged not to return. And for that reason, Freddy's is now a "nothing burger" to me.

We noticed someone was cleaning out the ice cream dispenser and asked if they still had any. The person said "no sorry the ice cream dispensers are broken" we turned around and as we left noticed a table with two sundaes on it.
