She even did a fantastic job straightening my teeth last year with Invisalign. I was hesitant at first because my insurance wasn't going to cover the full amount, but I'm so glad I went through with it. I don't feel my teeth constantly grinding anymore, and I have confidence in myself when I smile now. When you decide to check her office out, you'll notice that her staff is truly warm and professional. They make every visit feel pleasant, and I've never had a bad experience going to my appointment. Easily the most hassle-free doctor's office I've ever been to. Dr. Vu herself is super friendly and personable. I feel she spends the time getting to know you so that you can feel comfortable and relaxed in that chair. Initially, they gave me an opening for 3 days away, but when I explained the situation they made room for me in only 5 hours. I was greeted kindly as I entered on my first visit and offered free water (they don't have to, but it's nice!) and was seen within 5 min (make sure you fill out the online form before the first visit for quick service). I was treated so well, from beginning to end, with an understanding of my pain and making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. They are quite high-tech, which makes it all feel so effortless and efficient, while getting such detailed scans and X-rays as well as a full cleaning. Dr. T explains what needs to be done very clearly and gives you the attention you deserve and plenty of time to think and ask questions while laying out a thoughtful plan. At the end, Jesse further explained the roadmap ahead and stopped frequently to make sure I was understanding everything while standing side-by-side, showing me on-screen how the plan breaks down and what's out-of-pocket versus what your insurance will cover. All in all, I am quite pleased with my experience and am looking forward to taking action. Thank you to the whole staff there and I'll be seeing everyone again soon.

My first time trying a new dental office in years since I have a new insurance. Had a friend who…read morecame to this dental office and had a great experience so I thought I'd give it a try. Called to see if they accepted my insurance and they did and easily scheduled an appointment. Got to the office and to my surprise, the waiting area is empty! If you have been to any medical offices in chinatown, you would now it is packed all the time. Didn't even have to wait and was seen right away as scheduled. There was a dental assistant who took all my x-rays and if it is your first time, there is a lot! She was very nice and understanding and informed me that if I needed a break from the x-rays to let her know. After the x-rays, I was seen by Dr. Song. Dr. Song was amazing! He performed a gum analysis, oral and neck cancer screening that was touching the inside and outside of my mouth and the sides of my neck, and the tongue. Such thorough examinations for the first visit and worth the time for the examination and cleaning. Love that they gave goggles for me to wear because water always splatters for cleaning. Overall, an amazing experience and look forward to my future visits for my bi-annual cleanings.

She proceeded to tell me that I needed to bring a copy of the x-rays of my teeth to them which I already knew and had no problem doing so. Then, she said that if the dentist didn't think the x-rays were up to his standards that they would have to do another one but I would have to pay for them because my insurance only covers one free x-rays every 3 years. In my mind I had a lot of questions: Why would the x-rays be ok with the first dentist but not with them? Has this happened before? Are they already predisposed to do this?
