    Mocha Bianca

Mid... figured I would try something other than a chain. I ordered a mocha Bianca... which was basically warm milk with a slash of coffee. The inside was clean, had a front kitchen a few tables. Wouldn't recommend for coffee and didn't really give coffee shop vibes either.

Tamale($8)+ Pollo/chicken salad sandwich ($9) + Caramel latte ($4.85) = $23.85 My sandwich is not full. No potato sticks given.

I like to support small businesses, and since this was close to where I was, I decided to stop in. I will not be back. I like the ambiance and staff was nice, but the smell of old fried oil so thick in the air, I almost walked out. The seating area and counter were clean. They have 2 TVs that have 2 spanish shows playing right next to one another. I asked for a caramel latte. Good to go! It can compete with Starbucks. I added a "pollo" salad sandwich, and the nice lady kept saying pork. I said "chicken", and then she showed me the menu that is entirely in Spanish, and I repeated "chicken, Pollo", it stuck. When I arrived home and prepared my items to eat, I noticed that I didn't have any potato sticks and the amount of chicken was much less than others received. This is a turn-off because I don't like being gyped when I'm paying for a full sandwich $9 and can go elsewhere. Also, the tamale $8 had barely one bite of salty chicken in it. I like the vinegar red onions that reminded me of ceviche. I received a second big sub roll for I guess the tamale, but I never ate a tamale sub. So maybe that's supposed to be a Peruvian Bahn mi. There were 2 small tubs of side sauce, no fixings. Everything came to $23.49, which is a rip-off. All bread and masa. Also, they store their meat and ingredients in the customer area. I wonder if they have a license to operate. Parking was decent as far as plaza parking pick-up goes. It's off of a fast-moving highway, though. They also have Door Dash services.

"Don't judge a book by its cover," is the title that sums up this review. From the outside, this place does not grab your attention and the inside is nothing to marvel at as well. However, the food, like the invigorating words on a page in an unaesthetic book, is wonderful. The pollo sandwich is surprisingly fresh! The fries are delicious but they are the usual freezer fries. The platanos fritos are cooked just right and es muy delicioso. Also, with your sandwich and fries, they serve shoestring potatoes. The food is honestly great and priced well! The ladies who work here are extremely nice and accommodating. For example, my wife and I are not native Spanish speakers but we are trying to learn. The ladies were more than happy to help us practice our broken Spanish and even advance our vocabulary. We will definitely be back, not only ready to eat more great food but also to practice some more Spanish. Distrutas

Coffee shop was very nice and cute to eat. The coffee was very good, it's on the pricier side but it was worth it. The Mocha Bianca and Mocha Raspberry were the best. Definitely would recommend it if you are traveling from elsewhere and want to have good coffee. Service was immaculate and very helpful. They also have a lot of different types of goodies and foods available for purchase.

The food here is so delicious! I can't believe I haven't visited before. I was born in Peru and this place reminds me so much of the sandwiches my mom used to make when I was little! Takes me back home 10/10 do recommend!

    Pan con chicharrón

Their pan con chicharrón was on point. Tamal de chancho and pan con pollo were just okay. Following some of the previous reviews about extremely sweetened coffee drinks, I asked for a mildly sweetened latte and it was perfect. Lastly, I have to compliment their haucatay spicy sauce, though mild, it was very flavorful.

The people here were really friendly and it's a shame I don't feel like I can give them any more stars...we stopped in while waiting for food to be ready and ordered some coffees as a pick-me-up. We ordered an iced decaf mocha and an iced vanilla latte. The iced mocha was delicious for me, a bit on the sweet side but I didn't mind it. None of the employees were wearing gloves while making the drinks which we were okay with but something to be mindful if you are big into that. We counted the employee behind the counter shoot 15 pumps of syrup in the iced vanilla latte which unfortunately made it way too sweet. My friend ended up dumping his after a few sips because it was too much for him. The only thing that was super off-putting for us was the state of the floor. The floor had grime caked on it to the point my shoes were sticking to the floor and making sucking noises when I walked. That was pretty gross considering the state of covid and the fact that food/drinks are served here. Makes me wonder what else isn't getting cleaned if something as basic as the floor isn't...oh well, I digress.

The chicharrón sandwich was amazing!!! Authentic and delicious. Can't wait to have another and try other items on the menu.

Simple coffee and food spot. It's in downtown Occoquan so some street parking. Follow the coffee…read moresign. You order up front and then sit down. Some seating inside and a little bit outside. Very calm and chill place to hang out. I ordered a Toffee Nut Coffee and the Uncle Johnny Hot Savory Panini. The sandwich was good, it wasn't cut all the way through but good flavor. It had a lot of onions and peppers but not bad. I would like to come back and try their Crepes but would come back again.

I ordered a vegetarian crepe, and my friend got an Oreo crepe. Both were decent, but honestly pretty underwhelming. The flavors were fine, just not memorable, and definitely not something I'd go out of my way to get again. I also tried a vanilla chai latte, which was the same story--good, but nothing special. The biggest downside for me was the value. I ended up spending around $17, and it just didn't feel worth it. Between the portion size and the overall taste, it felt like something I could've easily made at home for a fraction of the price. Service was okay. The woman working there had a more straightforward, no-frills personality--not particularly warm or welcoming, but not rude either. Just very to-the-point. The space itself is also pretty small, with limited seating. It's probably best suited for quick stops or takeout rather than sitting and hanging out for a while. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it didn't give me a strong reason to come back. If you're nearby and curious, it might be worth trying once--but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
