This is an amazing place to eat at it provides amazing service, great food , and a positive and welcoming environment.

With the spastic weather of VA, cold one day, warm the other, I'm always looking for holes in the wall, cozy spots to hide at. Eggs & Sushi is one of those hideouts and if you're not careful, might end up eating 7k calories before you leave. You'll only know this place exists if you live or work in the Lorton area where Eggs & Sushi stands firm. If not for Google Maps, you may drive on by without a thought. I stopped because their simple sign but just some quirky in a strange way caught my eye and it's in the middle of a warehouse street where you would not expect food places to be. Surprisingly, there are always little cafes in these kind of places that feed the immediate workers there. They are sometimes the hidden gems nobody will hear about unless you work in that area. This is one of them. Walking in, it feels like a small diner, yellow walls, lots of menu above the grill area displayed on multiple screens, properly lit dining area. They take orders at the end and at a kiosk as well. Window seats, couple of tables, and some bar seats also. Seems simple enough but this place is the ultimate trap for the hungry. Be careful! When you look up, you realize they have a vast menu and varied in the most fantastic way. You have your generic American style food, eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, sandwiches, coffee, smoothie, an all day breakfast menu. Then you keep walking around to look at the menu, you see sushi, rolls, poke bowls, ramen, some dons, etc. You might think, hmm, they might be overloaded on the menu. Wrong! They make fantastic sandwiches! Smaller not overpriced ramen but with lots of oomph flavor! These guys bring the umami and drip it like masters. The dons hit, the ramen hits, the sandwiches hit, and my all time favorite breakfast item, the elegantly simple French toast hits. They are serving hits here and only a few know about it. Service was adequate from their high school kid waiters. The owners at the grill are very friendly if you get a chance to interact with them. Just a very chill ambience. It's diner that makes me want to move to Lorton. If you find yourself here one day, be careful. The menu makes you want to try everything. I haven't touch everything yet so I'm definitely coming back to try more. I just hope all these reviews won't mean I can't find my cozy window seat in the future. read more

Eggs and Sushi is in a pretty unusual, almost industrial-looking location, but don't let that throw you off. The sushi itself was great, the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and you get a lot of food for the price. They also actually speak Japanese, which was a nice surprise. The veggie tempura appetizer was pretty small, although it was inexpensive, and some of the sides weren't anything special. The biggest downside was the wait--it took about 30 minutes. That said, ordering is done by QR code, so it doesn't really seem like a service-focused place, and it looked like they may have had a huge catering order ahead of mine. There were also plenty of customers coming in and picking up orders, so they were definitely busy. Overall, I'd give it around a 4. The interior is small but a lot of their customers order take-away. They are located in an industrial area so that makes sense. I arrived at lunch time. No issues finding a park. Greeted when I got to the counter to place my order. I wanted something light. I ordered dumplings and miso soup. The staff was very helpful. Food took about 15 minutes. I also picked up a shirt love. Dumplings filled and tasty. The miso soup was your standard fair. It did not have any tofu in it so that was a disappointment. I can only speak for my carry out experience. The ramen was okay. I wish the egg was less cooked-I love when it cooks in the broth. Broth was very oily but it did have a nice kick to its flavor. This little restaurant is hidden in the warehouse area surrounded by mechanic shops. Those that are in the know, this is a great spot for that sushi craving and their pieces of salmon was very fresh and generous. There isn't a lot of seating space in there which leads me to believe they are known for their takeouts. Found this spot as it is close to the church I attend. I will definitely be returning to check out their bagels and sandwiches. Very friendly staff and they were prepping for closing when I walked in so it was relatively quiet in terms of customers but I would assume they have a following from the local community. Sushi is one of my favorite foods and while trying to research new sushi places to dine at, I'm so thrilled to have found out about this cafe/restaurant on Google. Also, whomever designed their logo - isn't it so cute?! Had been eagerly waiting to eat here on a weekend for brunch though always missed my opportunity as they are closed on Sundays. Well, one of my Saturdays opened up and might I say that it was the perfect day! This is truly a hole-in-the-wall type place and very cozy. The name of this cafe couldn't be more accurate -- they feature both an American and Japanese menu. I specifically came for the sushi though this would be a great place to take someone should they have differing tastebuds. Whomever thought of this concept is a genius! What is refreshing, and unlike other places that serve sushi, is that there is no reservation needed nor having to queue up or spend my entire paycheck for wanting to splurge on sushi. You don't have to worry about dressing up in your best attire. None of that here. You can dress comfortably and the prices are very affordable while having a great team of staff members whom are friendly and helpful. Should you need to use the restroom, the staff member will give you a key attached to a wooden spoon to unlock the restroom. The restroom is very clean and spacious. This is truly a hole-in-the-wall dining establishment though evident that this must be a local favorite. Observing whom else was enjoying their meals, there were a wide range of folks dining-in which covered various ethnicities, ages, and gender. They have their menu posted on a sign board to place you order though they also have a paper menu as well. There is also a self-serve water pitcher with cups, where you can serve yourself or choose from any of the variety of beverages for purchase from the beverage cooler. I got the Chirashi Lunch Special which also came with miso soup & salad with ginger dressing while my friend got the Salmon Poke Bowl. It was beautifully arranged and quite delicious. We both loved what we ordered. This dining establishment definitely deserves some more recognition! I'm so honored that I got to eat here. I wish I lived closer! It is rare for me to dine-in at restaurant/cafe regularly though I would back back here every weekend, despite not living particularly close. This is an interesting take on a breakfast diner, with a really large menu including some pan-Asian items, and located in a very industrial plaza that doesn't look like a place where people normally go dining. You can order at the table using your phone to scan a QR code, or through the website for take-out, or in person. *Burrito: No complaints about these. I ordered the farm house burrito with sausage. It was very filling, hot, exactly what I would want in a breakfast burrito. *Bibimbap: For some reason this item is viewable on the in-store menu to order in-person, but not on the online menu. And maybe that's a good thing that they hid the item, because it's the strangest bibimbap I've ever had. The portion is smaller than what's offered at any Korean restaurant in the area. The beef seems dry and not very fresh. The gochujang sauce is too mild. The veggies do not seem correct. Best part is, the server only gave us a fork to eat. When we asked him for a spoon to help toss the bibimbap, he gave us a small plastic spoon (like for coffee)!!! *Shoyu Ramen: This ramen was just really incorrect. I am really confused as to what the broth was supposed to be because it certainly didn't taste like shoyu broth. It tasted like a hodgepodge of low-quality hoisin sauce, bouillon powder, and some other type of Asian sauce sold at an American supermarket, poured into hot water. The portion size and noodles were okay, that was it. The take home message about my review is: by all means do NOT order the Asian items. I want to support small local businesses and I was really hoping they would do a good job.. and they didn't. I will come back for the breakfast burritos certainly. read more

Initially the name of this place made me chuckle. I had to check it out. And yes they have both eggs and sushi. Located in an industrial parkway off the 95 and near the Springfield Costco is where this wonderful place lives. I grew up with a Thai mother whose cooking is still the best I've ever had. This place made me think that she was behind the griddle cooking my breakfast. It is made with love and is very tasty. The prices are very reasonable and better than grabbing fast food from somewhere else. It is very clean and has good music playing. I stop by before work on days I have late meetings and am glad I've added this to my routine. Everyone that works here is so nice. Always greet and speaks to you with a smile. A hidden gem in Springfield with two of my favorite things, 1. BREAKFAST BURRITOS, and 2. SUSHIIII. It's really the best of both worlds, and I'm so glad this place exists. The area is random for the location, but there's decent parking. It's a rather small place but they have a sushi bar, where you can sit in front of the sushi chef. It seems more of like a eat and go kind of place than an official restaurant. They have super friendly and accommodating staff! For all the options they have, the prices are pretty reasonable. The menu is surprisingly extensive. They have sushi from nigiri, sashimi, to specialty rolls and hand rolls. For the breakfast menu, they have many breakfast sandwiches and other breakfast essentials. Not to mention, they have deli sandwiches too! What a hidden gem! We didn't have any issues finding parking. You order up front and they bring everything to you. We came here for lunch and ordered the Jedi Entree, the Master Yoda roll, takoyaki and Andy's Donburi. Everything was absolutely delicious and the Sashimi was all so tender. I stumbled upon this spot while getting my car serviced across the street. I was pleasantly surprised by its offerings and happy I dined here. This spot offers both American breakfast and lunch fare and Japanese food items. I ordered the Western Omelet Platter (comes with home fries) + upgrade bagel from toast and a large coffee. The grand total was under $12, which was great. The meal was as straightforward and home-cooked, which is what I expected. The omelette and potatoes were under seasoned, but still cooked well. I went there again yesterday, and was blown away again! It took us awhile to figure out what we wanted, as the menus was so extensive! The last time I went, I had steak and shrimp, and as you could tell by my first review, it was awesome! This time I wanted to try other options, as I want to work my way through their whole menu! Everyone order some form of steak, and they were all huge! I didn't have anything from the bar this time, and tried their pineapple juice, and also their lemonade, which had lime in it also! While the drinks were pricey, especially without some form of spirit in them..., they were very, very good! I was so full, I had to bag the rest of mine up! I had it for breakfast this morning, and my youngest also feasted with me on what I brought back! It was enough for both of us, with some leftover for lunch! The only bad news...I was overwhelmed looking at everyone's huge steaks, I again forgot to take a picture! So sorry..., but will try to remember next time! Zero complaints. I went in with minimal expectations and some confusion and was pleasantly surprised by my entire experience Menu is pretty incredible and diverse. Place is small and aggressively clean. They have drink fridges with sodas, juices, and lots of wine/champagne. However, the food at Eggs & Sushi doesn't just taste good, but each dish has been so well thought out that I feel like every sushi enthusiast in the area should try at least once. (And I guarantee you'll come back again) The flavors are not too strong, but rather well-rounded. Each ingredient has its purpose and is of great quality. I've been to this place many times, and my favorites are the spicy ahi tuna inari and crunch infinite roll (among other things). The tuna on the inari is always perfectly torched leaving amazing charred scent and bringing out a different flavor dimension from the raw fish. The sauce drizzles are slightly sweet complimenting the slight saltiness of the fish, with a kick of spiciness that makes you keep wanting more. The crunch infinitely roll has a crispy yet light Shrimp tempura in the middle, with cucumber balancing the fried core making the roll not too greasy. The spicy mayo is the perfect finish giving it the complete creamy, spicy flavors to this crunchy roll. The price is very affordable for quality sushi. Tried this place for breakfast for the first time today. My husband got the Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich and I got the veggie omelette. My husband reports that the Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich was "a culinary explosion of sweet and savory". He loved it! They use two pieces of French toast instead of regular bread! But it's clean and quiet. It has a few tables and chairs. So I had dinner while I worked. People kept coming in for to go orders. The young cashiers were sweet too.
