Purple and regular corn bread, really nice and light.

Went for the special Nikkei collaboration with Shackfuyu so I can't judge on their usual menu but the tasting menu was really good. We started with a tuna ceviche: I loved it and Im usually not a ceviche person. I really liked that the fish wasn't swimming in the sauce it was just well balances. The scallops and razor clams tirado: my favourite dish of the night!! Sooooo tasty. Beetroot puree and eel: probably the most original dish, it was ok but just a bit weird maybe of the puree had been warm instead of cold it would have enhanced the dish more. The pork tamale and grilled partridge: this one was weird just didnt work together and the partridge was really dry however it was a super good tamale!!! And the dessert: doughnut with chocolate ice cream good but not revolutionary. Overall the menu was creative and tasty but I still think the best nikkei restaurant in London is Chotto Matte

The space is great (Also because I loved the previous occupants of the space, 'The Forge') - very cosy, very real, yet sophisticated with a clean look. The menu spans the culinary diversity of Peru, and about 50-60% of flavours or flavour combinations that you will taste will wow you in the superlative. The starters in the £30 long lunch Saturday option were something of a showstopper. Delicious Sea bream ceviche with sweet potato and corn to start with. Huancaina beef with coriander cress; the sauce was to die for. The tuna causa with yellow in the coriander lemongrass sauce was excellent. The mains which each of us got to taste from the other, were beautifully laid out in large lunch bowls. I had the chicken pachamanca (which is an Andean way of cooking), with salsa criolla. On the side we were served three large bowls of chuafa (spiced rice), braised quinoa and spinach salad. Excellent dessert. Alfajores, but the South American version which is basically dulce de leche sandwiched between two biscuits. Three large dollops of Amazonian chocolate mousse.

The best Pisco Sours we've had since we were in Peru a few years ago. The causas were delicious as an appetizer - and beautiful. Our main courses were delicious - especially the prawns and the chicken. Dessert piscos were a real treat. A taste of the sacred valley in the heart of London. Yum

Been here twice now, once a few months ago and once recently. My experience a few months ago was good and I'd say just deserved about 4*. However this more recent experience just 2-3*. Firstly the Ceviche here is very good. The fish tastes fresh and is very appetising, with just the right sour level. I had the beef sudado as a main a few months ago and loved it, but this time round, it's been changed with a more tomato flavour. I didn't like it this time round.. In fact it made me a bit sick.. Something was wrong with the flavour combination. The dessert of chocolate was essentially chocolate mousse made to look like earth and dirt. Nothing special and trying a bit too hard. The worst thing though, was the extremely slow and inattentive service. It took ten minutes to clear our mains after we were done. Then a dessert menu took another 5 mins to come. Then it took another 5 mins to place our dessert order, and the another 5 to clear our dessert.. And another 10 to get the bill.. It was ridiculous!

Did not have a bad bite to eat here. I was fortunate enough to come with a larger group that wanted to try the right side of the menu. Sharing is caring! The consensus is that all the meat dishes were the most popular with the pork being the clear cut winner. The justice they do to the skin is confirmed when you hear a satisfying crunch cutting into the meat.

Since the restaurant opened in July 2014 I heard a lot of different opinion about it and always wanted to go there. The restaurant is located near Covent Garden on Garrick Street and serves traditional Peruvian dishes. My friend started her meal with a sea bream ceviche (£10), it was very tasty and refreshing. However we thought the portion was a bit small considering it was a starter and not a bar snack. As a starter I ordered the crudo mar. I never had blue potato, or rococo pepper before so I thought for once I will be adventurous. The dish had a nice presentation...however I was a bit disappointed my potato were more purple than blue ! Regarding the taste, it was interesting but it didn't wow me. I found my friend's ceviche was a better dish. My main dish was better than my starter. I had the Andean suckling pig (£26). The pork was perfectly cooked, crispy and moist at the same time. On the side andean corn and oiluquito potato went well with the dish. I loved the mix of texture present in this dish with the cripsy thin stip of vegetable on top and the green powder on the side. My friend had another ceviche as a main, this time it was the king prawn ceviche (£24). The plate was nicely presented and very colourful. The dish was good but too spicy for my taste, but my friend really enjoyed it. None of us fancied the dessert menu so we ended up our meal with a cup of coffee. Overall I had a nice dinner at Lima Floral. Dishes were very colourful and nicely presented but they were all a bit small and pricey. Most the main courses were more than £20 and not much bigger than the starter, not very good value. I am not sure I will come back to Lima Floral for that reason. I will probably choose Chotto Matte instead.

Really excellent food. Everything we are was delicious and unique in their flavour. The tiradito was a bit on the fishy side but everything else was absolutely incredible. Great service as well.

Maybe our hopes were too high, we expected full on flavourful Peruvian, but what we got was pretty food without punch. The staff didn't seem to have much clue what was going on, and btw this was not their fault, they were quite friendly but didn't seem to be very well trained on the menu. Generally a let down experience. And a expensive let down too.

    First time at Lima Floral!

The service was friendly and I met the owner Sharon and we had a lovely chat. My roast arrived and it was just the meal I needed. Truly such savory meal that didn't feel heavy at all. With that fuel I hoped on thr tube and explored London. Priced fairly and a space with a rich musical history, I'd gladly be a water rat again!

The place had a nice, spacious vibe, and since it was really early, we pretty much had it all to ourselves. But what really made it special was what we found out afterward-- Here's the cool part: there's been a public house on this site for over 500 years! The current building was put up in 1878. It was a regular hangout for none other than Karl Marx and Lenin--how wild is that? The walls are covered with photos of famous performers who've been there, along with images from the Grand Order of Water Rats. The whole place just feels rich with history--both old and more recent. The pub was bought in 1986 by the Grand Order of Water Rats, a showbiz charity whose members have included legends like Charlie Chaplin, and currently, Rick Wakeman. Even cooler--it's where Bob Dylan played his first-ever UK gig back in the 1960s. Since then, it's hosted the London debuts of bands like The Pogues and Oasis. And in this tiny back room, they've had live performances by major international stars, including Katy Perry.

A cozy long sized bed and sofa to lounge when we needed to chill without lying down. There was ample closet space and some shelving to putting away clothes. The desk area was very nice and roomy with a nice style about it. The lamps had good lighting that was warm and inviting. The bathroom had good water pressure and sink space to place all toiletries. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They allowed us to use the amenities at their spa when our room wasn't ready and we needed to clean up from the all-day travels we had spent since the day before coming over from the States. Staying at the hotel is an experience from the fact that this Victorian building used to be the original train station for St. Pancras. They have repurposed the high-ceiling gothic interior that originally served for the meeting and ticketing offices for the main lobby area and the Booking Office 1869 bar. The grandeur of the design is allowed to fully take place in the superb elements of fine dining and comforting relaxation. The Booking Office Bar & Restaurant was a mainstay for us during our time at the hotel. It's difficult not to want to check out the Victorian splendor of that interior while enjoying delicious cocktails and food at the bar or one of the nearby tables. While we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the Victorian Punch Hour that was at 5:05 each afternoon, it is something of heard to check out if you can. In addition to the Booking Office, there is the Hansom in the lobby, the Seasonal Terrance for wine hour, MI + ME, and the Gothic Bar. The latter of which was also quite magical with its Victorian design and grand luxurious interior with darkly warm lighting and creative cocktail menu. Located next to King's Cross Station in addition to St. Pancras International Station, you have immediate access to the high-speed rail system that takes you as far north as Scotland and south throughout the heart of Europe. You have one of the central hubs to multiple Underground rail stations that can take you all through Central London and its outskirts. You are also a very short walking distance from both the British Library and the British Museum. Like literally across the street close. There were sunlit reception drinks on the upper level overlooking the courtyard through floor-to-ceiling windows, which led through to the spacious main presentation room. The 3-course lunch was delicious - a goat's cheese starter on flaky pastry, a salmon main served unusually on a mushroom with an almost sweet red sauce, and creme brulee for dessert that needed a pleasing amount of force to smash the top. Superb service meant it was all delivered and cleared smoothly and silently - and whilst wearing soft black gloves! Special kudos for the mini pot of jelly babies in the middle of each table too - I may have been playing the serious grown-up hard at work but they were the perfect light-hearted touch to make me smile :) Impressive all round - I'll be looking out for more meetings in this venue again!
