Todo de aqui me encanto. El service Los tacos Everything about this place was worth it. The espresso martini was the star of the show. Odd pairing you would think with tacos but it was such a compliment in its odd way.

Currently ranked #32 on the latest The World's 50 Best Bars list, Licoreria Limantour in Roma Norte was fully booked throughout our travel dates. However, I was able to procure a reservation at their Polanco location relatively easily via OpenTable. We arrived right around the time that they opened for a couple cocktails. The ambiance/decor was on point, and service was great. Of course, the drinks were very enjoyable. If looking for a bar to grab a nice cocktail at, Limantour is an excellent option.

I came for the cocktails. It's a very lovely bar. I tried the margarita Al pastor. It was wonderful!!!! Everyone enjoyed our drinks.

For a top bar in the world, our bartender mixed up our drinks and gave our friends the wrong drinks - we didn't realize until after as they thought they got the wrong drink, and the bartender corrected us when they were discussing how their drinks were after. Besides that, it's a spacious bar with lots of seating, a huge menu of drinks and even a non alcholic cocktail that was pretty good. Seems to often have a wait.

Nice cocktail bar, but not as fancy or hard to snag a spot like Handshake. Open space concept and outdoor seating too. You can probably just walk in here or wait a few minutes. Drinks were solid. You must get some type of food (we just got fries).

Amazing drinks, great service, and cool atmosphere! Our favorite drinks were the Oregano drink and the Margarita Al Pastor. The oregano drink was strong, but extremely well balanced. It really does taste like the spiced it's named after! The margarita Al pastor was also really good. Had fresh spices and basil, which was smooth. We came here twice in the span of a week. Excited to go back again some day!

Licoreria Limantour is currently the No. 7 best bar on The World's 50 Best Bars list. Such a chill, low key spot. Great vibes, incredible cocktails, and phenomenal service. Definitely a great night to chill on the patio and people watch.

So I had heard rumors that Polanco had some great mixology bars and that Limantour was among them ...I was unprepared for greatness. This place rocks! Great ambiance inside and out...we sat outside and enjoyed the great weather and scenery. The staff are great...more than great..attentive , knowledgeable and helpful. Loved how they explained every drink and dish in exquisite detail. The food is also great...we had the tuna tostadas and the hummus. All house made and delicious. The drinks my friend are what it's all about ...I mean seriously great. I had an old fashioned and my date had a fancy mezcal drink. Excellent and unique. Great wine and beer selection as well. My only gripe...no bourbon.

Just a top notch bar is all I can say....everything, food, drinks, service, just awesome. We came early afternoon, so they weren't busy, sat outside, had everyone serving us! They have an amazing packed bar, with everything you want or need. Awesome cocktail menu, lots of wine and beer too Food wise we had the Patatas bravas, nice and crispy and spicy but not overly. The tuna toastadas , loved these, cute little tostadas with tuna, avocado and soy, yum. Drinks! I had the Paloma Clara, nice , simple cocktail, perfect. The Mr Pink, was so pretty, big glass and good, refreshing, loved this too. The Sgroppino Limantour , another amazing pretty drink. Gin, lillet blanc , grapefruit, pink pepper sorbet, and Prosecco. The London collins, interesting take on the vodka collins, wit( gin, kaffir leaf, dolin blanc, shiso cordial, topo Chico. Pretty strong drink! LA rose, nice, little sweet, but different, vodka, St.Germain , fig, pear and guava soda. Vicuña, mezcal, Chilean pisco, and smoked pineapple juice. So much better than I expected. Great flavor combinations. I dare you not have more than one cocktail here. It is hard to chose though. Loved this drinking and eating experience at Limantour! Our servers were on all the time, tending to everything, great bunch of guys!

DROPLET. Boodles Gin, Aquavit, Elderflower liquer, lime sherbet. Drink to the right is my drink. I ordered it because it has elderflower but it wasn't as good as Vince's drink.. BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS. Scotch Johnnie Walker Black infused with peanut butter, banana juice, lemon juice. Drink to the left is Vince's drink. I also didn't like it as much because it has banana juice in it. However, I do appreciate the creativity of a "breakfast cocktail." Con aceite de oliva. Acompañados de papas chips hechas en casa. / With olive oil. With home made chips potatoes. I saw another table order olives and it reminded me of the comforting warm olives from one of Austin's bar. They came with these airy chips on the left. There are 3 types of olives and they were delicious. OAKLAND. Mezcal Ojo de Tigre, Aperol, Punt e Mes, Coffee tincture. This is Vince's drink because he can drink a lot. I thought it tasted gross and bitter but Vince likes bitter. Margarita Al Pastor. Patron Silver Tequila, Cointreau, Taco Mix and Lime. Oh now this drink is very interesting and tasty! This drink is inspired by al pastor tacos. You can see that they include taco mix into the drink. It was like a sweet yet savory drink. Mezcal Stalk. Creyente Mezcal, Cointreau, pineapple Juice, agave honey and rimmed with work salt. This drink was also good! I really liked the sweetness from the pineapple and the agave honey. The smokiness of the Mezcal worked well with the salt. Pros: -indoor and outdoor seating -delicious cocktails -friendly staff -clean restrooms -fast service -cute menus

It was a fun cocktail bar that had super tasty drinks. Very different drinks than usual. The garnishes were very nice. Service was great - was greeted immediately. They had good music playing as well

Cosmopolitan, busy and with drinks to die for. Served about 6 crafted cocktails designed by mixologists from happening bars around the world. Ahh, my drink was a delight! So deep and surprising with layers of flavors that revealed themselves not all at once, but steadily and in delicious order. Wonderful experience. Would definitely go back for more.

It's a cool mellow bar. The food is pretty good for a bar. The bartenders are very knowledgeable. The location is great. Might return.

I wanted to make it a point to seek out some authentic oaxacan mole, so I chose this spot that was recommended by eater.com and the Michelin guide. Had the black mole with duck breast, which was served with rice and a plantain. It was so good as the flavors were so complex and they paired really well with the perfectly cooked duck, the rice, and my fruity cocktail. On that note, I ordered one of their speciality cocktails with passionfruit and it was so good. I actually enjoyed my cocktail, made with fresh fruit, here more than the world renowned bar down the street. Also got salsa made tableside and an appetizer of pork taquitos (which, in this context, were tiny tacos). Both were flavor bombs. Overall, we are glad that we stopped by to get a sampling of very flavorful food from this restaurant and I'd definitely come back!

They had table side salsa which was nice to watch and then try. We tried a few of the appetizers and non alcoholic drinks. I would say some of the dishes were a bit too salty and as yummy as the drinks were mine was too sweet. The main dishes on the other hand were really delicious and unique. I will say the service was impeccable, they checked on us often and even found a charger so we could charge our phones! Very great hospitality and service.

The interior is pretty plain, with some Oaxacan art on the walls, apparently available for purchase. We were served tortilla chips with samples of 3 moles (Negro, Coloradito and I think the 3rd was Mancha Manteles) and 2 salsas. As my wife and I primarily went to Barro Negro to sample moles, it was great that we could taste them before committing to a full entree. They were all very good and very different. If you think all moles are 'a Mexican chocolate sauce,' then you'll be surprised at the different varieties. The salsas were all very good and on the spicy side. For entree, I ordered the Mole Coloradito and my wife got the Mole Negro. Both were served with a chicken leg/thigh quarter covered in a very generous pool of mole, along with a small amount of rice and beans. For me, it was the right amount of mole (a lot!) and rice and beans (a small portion of each). The Coloradito is a sweeter mole, very smooth and rich. It was excellent. The Negro is smoky, almost burnt tasting. I happened to know that the cooking process includes burning chile seeds and adding them to the mixture. To me, it was kind of ashy and not to my taste. My wife said that she really liked it and the flavor mellows as you eat more. At any rate, if you're familiar with Mole Poblano, which is also very dark, the Oaxacan black mole is a totally different dish. As it was late, we chose not to get any dessert. The service was attentive and quick, not surprising given that the restaurant we empty. We enjoyed our food very much and highly recommend Barro Negro for sampling Oaxacan moles.

There are two dining areas and a fascinating little store that sells tea, jewelry, designer clothes and in the hallway, beauty products (I think). Note: It is quite dark. I felt really old because I needed my phone light to read the menu, but our much younger waiter also had trouble seeing to process our credit card lol. Service was kind and professional. Tuscan food is unusual for us and we don't eat many of the ingredients, so our selections were a bit limited. Happily, we both found dishes that we enjoyed. My husband had chicken breast, which came with a salad snd sweet potato puree. The salad dressing was so light and lemony. I want to come back just for that. My white fish was Mediterranean in style and cooked in a sauce of cherry tomato, artichokes, olives and capers. It was delicious, but enough for two or three meals, so I took some home. Our meals came with herbed crisp breads and herb butter. They have a nice selection of teas and I absolutely loved the white tea with flower petals and lychee. Overall, a great find.
