After our primary care vet referred us to one of the local "factory" specialists (you know the ones where the first thing they do is take your pet away from you for their exam) and they suggested $1000s worth of tests just to find out what type of cancer she had; we were fortunate enough to find Dr. Harris and her staff. She was (sometimes painfully) straightforward with us about our girl's status and prognosis. She was always positive and optimistic. She listened to us and talked to us like the intelligent adults we are. She also laid out the treatment plan and all the contingencies. Most importantly she gave us six months with our girl that the other vets, and all the online advise, said was improbable. And our dog was in good spirits right up to her last week. When the fateful day came she and her staff were as caring, understanding, supportive and sympathetic as anyone could ask for. Although I hope we never need her again, I would not go anywhere else. P.S. While we were willing to spend almost any amount asked, Dr. Harris always gave us all the options when it came to costs and treatments. We ended up spending less for all the services Dr. Harris provided than the other vet had quoted us for just the initial tests.

I can't believe the experience I had with them for a dog they had seen multiple times in a short period of time. It was basically we don't have time for you or your dying dog we close in an hour.

I took Amos in for chiropractic care. Dr. Leick was amazing. He adjusted Amos and then told me how to use hot and cold compresses and how to stretch Amos' hips. I went for another visit. He adjusted Amos again and told me to just continue the stretches. Amos was healed completely! I went for a third visit to make sure he was still good. He hasn't limped since! I mentioned this in the client satisfaction survey and he promptly refused to see me anymore because, as the office manager explained, he was "offended" that I expressed my dissatisfaction. Office manager said this had been an ongoing problem with him. He seems like a "head case", inappropriately complaining about his ex wife at multiple appointments (am I supposed to care about that?) and making other off color comments, most memorable was a racial crack about professional athletes. Seems like a wounded soul.
