Don't hesitate Limitless Sea Burials services is truly a gift to the community with limited options in the Puget Sound Area, and fitting our needs of an intimate boat for a smaller party, that was nice, professional, respectful, experienced with ash scattering and at a reasonable price. Service: Captain Miguel Suarez and wife, Marggiory, was compassionate, clear and flexible. They managed the boat and any services as needed. Communication and responses from the beginning to end was very clear and prompt. They offered different packages that you can modify to fit your needs. They were very flexible ( with time, date and needs), understanding, and kid friendly. They started their business right before COVID in the PNW, hence not many reviews yet. Environment: 48" yacht with 2 bathrooms that was very lovely and clean. Very comfortable and not dated compared to other options I found online. Max group capacity: 10 people ( excluding boat crew). KID FRIENDLY- remember to tell captain ahead ages so he can prepare appropriate sized life vests. We did not have a memorial video, so captain had map image of where we were going. Location for pick up/drop off, 2 options: A. Shilshole Marina, Dock X. Not as clearly marked in person ( park in the lot for Dock V- right before Little Coney Restaurant) The main address they give gets you to Dock I/H area. Clear pictures are sent ahead, though we were unfamiliar and did not park close enough. B. Elliot Bay ASH SCATTERING Location- was beautiful, calm waters, with views of Mt Rainier in background. Our ride out to location you can see Mt Baker and the other mountains, and we were able to spot porpoises, a seal, and jumping fishes. We went mid August on a Monday, 10:30-12:30pm. Following day, Miguel emailed us certificate of location and some casual photos Marggiory kindly took. Food and drinks: options to purchase or bring yourself. We brought our own and cannot review their food, but the images online looked good to me! Flowers: options to purchase or bring yourself. It was convenient not to carry vases with water and we spread the flower in the water after ash scattering, so it was nice not Media- Photography, tribute video to have on their TV and more available, check out the packages or ask. We were so lucky to be able to find Limitless Sea Burial to help us say goodbye to my mom at the beautiful puget sound. Captain Miguel and his team are very attentive and professional. The boat is beautiful, spacious and very clean. Captain Miguel explained everything very clearly including the route, details about the safety equipments and facilities on the boat. The ride was very peaceful and pleasant for our whole family (even my 11-year old son who is prone to have motion sickness found the ride very comfortable). They have a life jacket ready for my son, too. We love that we were never rushed. The lower platform is low enough for us to be able to touch the water while scattering ashes. Thank you for the beautiful yellow roses to keep my mom company in the sea. It was definitely a lifetime memorable ride for mom and our whole family! Miguel attended to every detail for the service for our parents, from ordering the biodegradable urns, putting together the picture montage, and scheduling military honors for my dad. I searched for weeks trying to rent a boat with a captain to be able to scatter my husband's ashes near Alki Beach. Everything was so expensive and there were so many extra charges! Limitless Sea Burials, captained by Miguel Suarez, is amazing. My son passed away last year. We held his cremains since then, working our way to closure. His birthday is March 25. With two weeks before his birthday we decided we would place his ashes in Puget Sound - an area he spent as a youth and young adult. I researched options in the Seattle area and thankfully found Limitless Sea Burials. Connecting with Miguel was easy and quick. He personally responded to my emails and helped us through options and timelines. While the 25th was not available, the 24th (a Friday) was open. Miguel helped with all options and services. He received the cremains we shipped by USPS, prepared the eco-friendly urn, ensured we were informed of where to meet him and his boat - everything we needed. We met Captain Miguel and his crewmember at the dock. They were prepared and after a quick safety briefing and overview we were off. The boat, service, preparations, friendliness, caring were more than we expected. We were comfortable throughout the ride to a selected site, during the quick service, and return to the dock. Miguel had a brief service prepared for us - we were very grateful for his kind and comforting words. My younger son, wife, and I stood on the rear platform of the boat, tossed roses provided by Miguel, then placed the urn with cremains in the water. The weather - forecasted to be cold and rain - cooperated amazingly with no rain! After the trip the three of us - me, my wife, and youngest son - praised Limitless Sea Burials for several days.
