He told me he would be at Saints and Sinners until 7:30 p.m. I arrived at 6:30 p.m. and was met by Princess Aarahm sitting at the front with his belly out. From our interaction, he came across as very sassy, awkward, and unprofessional. I said, "I believe I spoke to you on the phone." He explained that changing my dermals would cost anywhere from $10 to $20 per dermal, depending on how difficult they were to change, and that each piece of jewelry would cost $20. When he opened his mouth to speak to me, I was met with the most foul odor I have ever endured. To make matters worse, he had mustard, or some kind of offensive sauce, on his beard. I should have known right then that he had absolutely no idea what he was doing or how to do what I needed. I already had jewelry for one of my dermals. He then said the change could cost about $100. Not that it would be $100--just that it could be, depending on how hard it was for him to unscrew the dermal tops and whether he needed to use tools. I then asked him how long he had been doing dermals. He informed me that he had been doing them since 2004 and then refused to do my jewelry change simply because I asked about his experience. I guess he assumed I was worried about the price, but I was actually concerned about getting an infection from someone who appeared to be a beginner in the piercing world. The fact that he said he didn't know whether he would need tools told me everything I needed to know. Fortunately, I was able to find another piercing shop that changed both of my dermal tops for a total of $30. The process was quick, straightforward, and completed without any issues. I then went to @saintsandsinnersatl and saw @aarahmp listed in the bio. I visited his page to look at his work and found only one photo of dermals, posted in September 2020. I don't know who allowed him to alter their body like that, but if I were the person with those microdermals, I would sue. I wish I could give Princess Aarahm zero stars, but unfortunately, the lowest rating is one.

She was super nice & easy to talk to & asked me how I was doing the whole time even though I'm a natural redhead & we have a bizarre tolerance for pain. I went with basic jewelry to start, but I'm gonna get something more flashy once they heal. It was about $200 with tip for the services & jewelry which is honestly less than I was expecting. The studio was bright & clean. There were 2 tattoo artists there who were also really nice. Will definitely be back to get fancier jewelry & more piercings from Maria.

I got WALL-E holding a stargazer, my husband got an adoring EVE. It was super simple to reach out to Eddy a few months ago, discuss a design concept and locations, pick a date, and pay a holding deposit. Then we show up on the day, he whips up a drawing, and in a few hours, his work his done, we pay, and we're a more adorable couple than we started. Conversation and chatter was lively and fun between us and him and the other staff nearby. Now that the sting is down, and we've garnered attention in public with our new tattoos, I know I'm already thinking ahead for location and design of my next tattoo. My husband wants to let this one heal completely before he decides, though he already knows what he would get if he goes ahead.

I went to Virtue & Vice to get my ears re-pierced after having them pierced 20 years ago. I had a…read morephenomenal experience at V&V from start to finish. They were extremely diligent in their adherence to sterilization protocols and examination of my initial piercings. Because of Randy's careful examination of my ears, only one ear needed a full re-pierce and the other ear just needed a slight stretch in the piercing. It was much less painful this time around than it was 20 years ago (w/a piercing gun at Claire's!). I had such a great experience here I would definitely return and get additional piercings! My ears healed well (different experience than the first time) and I'm excited to wear earring again!

I had attempted to remove it myself and, TOTAL FAIL. I searched Yelp a number of times and kept returning to Virtue & Vice due to the reviews. One stipulation I had while on the hunt for this place was that I only wanted a female piercing tech. So I called Virtue & Vice telling them what I was looking for and asking if they would be able to accomodate. They were so helpful and patient! I asked a bunch of questions that were quickly answered and the gentleman that I spoke to even gave me the names of the female techs along with their availability. That call sealed the deal for me! While in the area one day I decided to pop into Virtue & Vice and finally tackle this task. HU: the parking lot is quite tight as the plaza is a small one. I didn't have an issue finding a spot but I can only imagine how it would be on a crazy day. The shop was bright and airy, and I was greeted so warmly upon entry by two young ladies at the front counter. I let them know what I was looking for and was told it'd be a 15 minute wait, easy peazy. After a few minutes one of the young ladies approached me asking if I'd accept a male tech assisting me so that I'd get in/out sooner. I declined and appreciated that they didn't push or question my decision to wait. Minutes later my technician Lena came and got me. She was such a sweetheart! She has the same name as one of my favorite people and Yelp CM so I knew she had good energy. When I tell you all that I tried removing the piercing myself about 4x? Why did Ms. Lena get it out (without pain!) within TWO minutes? It may not have even been two minutes. I coughed and boom, removed. I can't believe that I put it off for so long! Definitely returning for some new ink in the future.
