Called this company, and the guy came out and fix our toilet that is leaking causing mold in our downstairs kitchen panty wall that caused it to mold. Now the toilet stop leaking and I'm hoping this stop it from the mold to build up. He is coming back Saturday to fix the wall if he see that is no more leak. Mind you, these were brand new installs, not replacements. He provided a very thorough and detailed explanation of the work needed and then provided me with an extremely reasonable estimate/cost. I wanted to replace 2 light fixtures in my kitchen (fluorescent to LED) and searched on Yelp.for recommended electricians. 5 responded. 1 was out of town, 1 was a handyman, and 2 electricians gave estimates. My conso requires a licensed electrician so the handyman wqs out. Of the 2 electricians, Lin construction was very responsive in the dialog and able to accomodate me the same day. I did not have the LED fixture and their electrician went and bought it before coming. They were not the cheapest but did good work and was very personable. Installed, cleaned up and was on his way in 2 hours. Highly recommend Lin Construction. They do plumbing, renos and other thins as they are a licensed contractor. read more

We wanted to remodel our condo eventually & came across Lin Construction. Mr Lin and Megan ( manager) came out to greet us and they were very attentive especially Megan who know I am pressing for times this time around. She asked me what my preferences were and suggested to look at cabinets/ flooring at couple of different places. She took her times to meet us there and trying to find the style I am after. At the end we went to a custom cabinet place to see if my vision can become a reality and now I am waiting for a quote to see how much it will cost. Since I am not in a hurry and have learned a lot from the people on the island is to make sure all the supplies are there before work will start and that including all the appliances. I have to say that I've used many contractors for various jobs including complete kitchen reno, complete install of wood flooring, new cmu tile wall, major structural work, new bathroom reno, pv and AC install and complete reroofing. Lin construction is among the best we have worked with. Lin personally oversees the work. He is detail oriented and takes pride in his work. We had a unusual situation with our new fence abutting our neighbors control panel and Lin suggested a solution and all parties were happy with the result. They are responsive and punctual, which is hard to find in a contractor. I'm very critical of contractors as I have rarely had good experiences but Lin Construction impressed me. They responded quickly when we had questions. The job took 2 days to complete and they arrived precisely at the agreed upon time both days. It was a smaller job I asked of them but they completed the work quickly and the finished result couldn't have been better. Great work and professional approach. Our in-wall drain hole for the washing machine was unused (drained straight into the sink) and clogged. We noticed a leak behind the dry wall & found out the drain hole overflowed from our A/C's condensation (shared drain hole). Lin Construction went above & beyond and unclogged a bunch of material deep within our plumbing system. He is very dedicated & explained everything throughly. My faucet handle cracked and water started dripping even when I closed the shut off valve. I checked Yelp for highly rated plumbers and started calling even before I put in a request. I was told 1-2 weeks by a couple companies, before I located one who charged more on the weekend, but would give me an estimate and repair on Monday. Then Lin contacted me. He is a contractor so I would not have thought to call him thinking he would be too expensive. However he came out on Sun, quoted a good price and was willing to also change a bathroom fluorescent to LED and tackle cabinet door repair for no charge. The cabinet was problematic as the hardware at two stores he checked and installed were slightly different from the original. Instead of saying cannot, he will try to special order the parts. His willingness to do that and the excellent job he did on three faucet and fluorescent replacements has me asking him to replace my aging water heater and bedroom A/C while I decide on other jobs I want done. I trust him and his workmanship. I am very happy that he found me! Also his company is in town and I'm in Mililani and I would have assumed the distance would add to the cost, but it's not the case. read more

They offered more services at a lower cost than any of their competition. Thousands less after I asked for additional items to be added to the contract. They were fast, efficient, thoughtful, considerate, and respectful. They kept me informed with email and attached pictures of their progress as they worked with subcontractors and permits along with my housing association to get the job completed correctly in the least amount of time. Everything was done honestly and open. No hidden agenda or surprises. Wish I was as successful dealing with contractors in California.
