We were looking for Chinese food in the area and tried to go to another spot we found but they were closed. Which brought us to Lin Garden and we will not go try the other place. Lin Garden is the place to go. We went in to order takeout. This is not a full serve restaurant but the dining area is off to the side so if choosing to eat there one won't have to watch and listen to take out customers coming and going. We were greeted as soon as we entered, even though they were busy. Our order was taken and brought to us in about 10 minutes. Every order was prepared fresh. The phone didn't stop ringing! There is plenty of seats for those waiting. Unfortunately I didn't get pictures but our food was still piping hot when we got back. The general Tso's tofu was delicious with just the right amount of spice. The sauce was delicious and the broccoli was still a tiny bit crisp. Not soggy at all. So I'm at work on this 13 hour Protection detail and decided to order Chinese because I can't leave for anything. I make my order on Uber eats and of course there is no alternate options for anything, you can't remove or add anything. So I decide to call them to let them know I didn't want any bean sprouts or anything other than onion and scallion in my rice. I also mentioned I didn't want Tyrannasaurus wings, that please only small wings, and thirdly I told the girl over the phone to add soy, duck, and plenty of hot sauce. When I get my order there was 1 soy sauce and 1 duck sauce absolutely no hot sauce. Then the wings were the total opposite of what I asked for. So I decide to call to inquire what happened. The same female that took my request answered so I ask her what happened that I asked for sauces and was short changed, to which she tells me she is not responsible for taking care of that yet she is the one who heard the initial request. I for one didn't like her attitude and as far as customer service she lacks that skill. She ended passing my call to the manager Jacob who heard what I had to say and he felt my pain. Came on a Sunday around 1pm. There were 3 cashiers and that's the most I've ever seen at a sit down Chinese restaurant. There's a decent amount of seating area for dine in and seats for people to sit on while they wait for their takeouts. The girl that helped me was very nice. We've ordered 5 boba drinks with our lunch, we got our food about 20 minutes faster than our drinks. The drinks were good and well made, just took a while. All the fried rice we had, was meh, not really any flavor, it's almost like eating plain white rice that looked yellow. The beef and broccoli was also pretty plain, but the beef was tender and broccoli not over cooked. The hot and sour soup had a good amount of tofu and bamboos. The orange chicken was too doughy but smelled and tasted good. REMEMBER, If you are dining in, they do not have tap water. Was in the mood for some Chinese takeout and Lin Garden looked like a good spot. The inside is more modern than your typical Chinese takeout spot, with a bright opening and the menu displayed on flat screens. The employees up front were welcoming. We ordered the orange chicken combo special with pork fried rice and an egg roll, and the chicken with vegetables combo with an upgrade to chicken chow mein, and an egg roll. Our food came out in about 15 minutes and was pretty good! Nothing out of this world but a decent meal. The orange chicken was crispy and tasty, the chicken and vegetables were good as well. We also enjoyed the egg roll, crispy, and fresh. The only thing I'd suggest is less soy sauce for the noodles, they went a bit overboard with that, and the fried rice was practically flavorless. Other than that, generous portions and good prices is a solid choice for some takeout. I will definitely return to try their boba tea and some more menu items like their hibachi. read more

I am a New Yorker and NY Chinese food is the best! PERIOD! Lol. Found this spot online, called and ordered the basic shrimp fried rice and chicken wings. Based on the reviews, I made sure to ask that they put scallions, onions and veggies bc I don't know how shrimp fried rice only has rice and shrimp. Anyway, the food wasn't bad at all. But the wings were HUGE and had a lot of feathers on the tips. Huge wings tell me that the chickens were pumped with something and they have to much breading on them.Now the tips are the best part of the chicken, they need to focus on cleaning that part more. I'm also glad that they are practicing the rule of masks for their customers and workers, but their cooks had no masks on. They should have on masks as well. But I would order something different from them in the future. read more

The picture of the fried rice is on my plate at home. The young chow fried rice was delicious. The only downside is you can only order a quart. They don't offer it by the pint. My husband got the wings and fries. I was apprehensive about the wings because its an order of 4. But the wings were HUGE. Definitely nice size portions. And we also had the beef teriyaki sticks. Their dine-in has been closed since Covid, and they have plastic barriers when ordering. When my husband called to place the order, the gentleman who answered repeated the order and we were told delivery would take over an hr and a half. So he decided to take the drive and pick it up. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in and saw the restaurant totally remodeled, sparkling clean and a new wait staff. The front order counter staff were friendly and spoke English. The young man informed us they were under new owners. We ordered the kung pao chicken and hunan beef, both extra spicy. These dishes were flavorful and delicious and the egg rolls were crisp and freshly made. We will be back again since Mamak isn't close enough to go to as Lin Garden. Clean, no long waits, and good food. Each time I go I am not disappointed and the staff, though younger, are still very kind and patient.

So they close at 9:30PM and I called in at 8:55pm and waited on hold outside the store and literally watched the employees not pick up the phone. I was going to go in and just order it but after noticing they did not want to take any orders over the phone that it was probably best to go somewhere else to eat. I have worked in hospitality and understand it can be frustrating for customers to come in last minute but business is business and I will take mine elsewhere not because I want to but because I feel like it's only right to go where are welcomed. read more
