Dr. Ozge is very kind, and I really appreciate that she does not try to upsell you on anything. I came to see Dr. Sozgen with a painful infection and a deathly fear of dentists but her gentle vibe immediately put me at ease. Her exam was thorough and she explained exactly what was happening and gave me several options before discussing my treatment plan. Dr. Sozgen decided my best option would be a root canal which ended up being the most pleasant one I ever had (and I had at least 6, I lose count). If I could give Dr. Sozgen 10 stars I would! I had my first cleaning appointment with Dr. Sozgen just days before Thanksgiving last year. After many years with Dr. Schulze, who is retiring, Dr. Sozgen is in the process of taking over his long time practice. Dr. Sozgen was amazing from start to finish. In fact, I must say that she saved my bridge! My best piece of advice is not to delay or postpone taking regular yearly X-rays. Back in 2020 I felt a pain on one of my anchor teeth for my bridge. The pain came and went and I never felt the pain again and nothing was found. Fast forward to 2025, Dr. Sozgen took a series of X-rays, as my last X-rays were in 2022. Based on the X-rays, she found I needed to have an evaluation for a root canal on that tooth. A root canal was performed and it saved my tooth and my bridge. Had X-rays been postponed further, most likely I would have lost the bridge anchor tooth which might have resulted in a very costly outcome. Dr. Sozgen is one of the best dentists I've ever had. She personally cleaned my teeth extremely well and her evaluation was thorough and knowledgeable. She uses the most up to date techniques in her practice. She is a kind and caring person who I am thrilled will be my dentist going forward. If you are looking for an amazing dentist, your search is over. A true family practice. Arlyn, is incredibly warm and friendly from the moment she picks up the phone. She helped me make an appointment about 3 weeks in advance for a standard cleaning. I received several confirmations leading up to my appointment. On the day of my appointment, Dr. Urbina was running about 10 minutes late. On time by most standards, but regardless, Arlyn made every effort to alert me of the delay. At this point, I'm in awe of the wonderful experience, and I haven't arrived at the office. Once at the office, Arlyn again greeted me with a smile and kindness. She checked me in quickly, updated my insurance info, and as soon as she was done, the doctor was ready for me. Yup, you're reading right. I didn't have to wait for my cleaning. Not a single minute. She took the time to explain to me the details of what she is going to do and why and all the findings of my first visit. With the use of a hand held mirror, she pointed out all issues so I could see first hand what it is that she is seeing. I've been meaning to write a review on Dr. Urbina for awhile but never got around to it until now! First of all, she's been my dentist ever since she tok over my childhood dentist's(Dr. Roger Tennyson) practice several years ago. From the start, I developed a very good rapport with her and I can tell she establishes this kind of pleasant, friendly relationship with all of her patients. She genuinely cares not just about your teeth, but the patient as a whole. Her facilities are completely modern. Flat screens mounted on the wall to watch your favorite DVDs while you get your teeth cleaned or a cavity filled. I think she remodeled a few years ago and it looks great! I never watch anything though, because our conversations are enough to keep me entertained! Her staff is very friendly, and Laurie the receptionist always greets you with a smile. I lived in Fremont when I first started seeing her and now live in San Jose. If there's any indication how good of a dentist she is, its the fact that I am willing to travel 25+ miles just to keep her as my dentist!
