Chicharrones de pollo sin huesos, fried plaintains
    Kit Michele G.

This place is good! I had the camarones al horno and finished every bit. The garlic sauce is seasoned soooo well, my only wish is that they put more sauce at the bottom. It was so addicting that I was scrubbing that pan clean with every last bite. The fried plaintains are also excellent, reminds me of how my grandma used to make them. And the chicharrones de pollo sin huesos were also good, maybe a little more seasoning but still excellent. The ladies who helped us out were so welcoming and kind. Would definitely come back to try other dishes!

The rice and chicken tasted really good... the chicken was cooked beautifully; please see the pictures that I uploaded so that you could see how easily the meat came off the bones... hahaha! The beans had a poor flavor. As someone who grew up eating beans, these were disappointing! Also, the young man who served me was nasty; he seemed miserable.

My favorite Spanish restaurant in the 207 location. The food is very good and price even better. I been coming here since a little girl with my dad the staff are so nice and attentive. You cant be disappointed the food here is always good i never had a problem coming here. The great thing to after Sunday church you can come with a group and get large portions of food for the best value ever. Also they got lunch specials just goo and try it! :)

a plate of steak and mashed potatoes

the food was nasty ,i ordered a steak with mash potatoes and the steak had more fat than meat and the mashed potatoes taste like instant mashed potatoes my meal was horrible and I did not in joy it . The guacamole with chips was the only good thing as well the drinks .the ambiance is all cute and picture worthy but my first meal I had was trash,I was so excited to try this new restaurant because it was my birthday and I saw a lot of reviews,I decided to go there and I didn't feel the vibe I wanted to feel .when eating of the roof top and drinking the bathroom is going down the stairs I almost fell going up and down the stairs that is very dangerous for people who are drinking and they need to use the restroom.the restaurant is a little pricey.

This is an excellent place for Dominican style dining. It was a go to joint when I lived in the area.

Walked into Margon Restaurant in Midtown and instantly felt like I found one of NYC's secret cheat codes. Small space, big flavors, zero nonsense. The kind of place where you're elbow-to-elbow with strangers but everyone's united by one thing... serious hunger. Ordered the Cuban sandwich -- pressed, crispy, loaded with roast pork, glazed ham, Swiss, pickles, and mustard. One bite in and I stopped talking... which never happens. This thing didn't just deliver... it showed up early and over-prepared. Then came La Bandera Dominicana Braised beef swimming in savory gravy, yellow rice piled like a mountain, black beans doing their thing, and sweet maduros sitting on top like the victory flag. Simple. Comforting. Dangerous... because now I want it every week. Place gets busy, gets loud, gets chaotic... but it moves like a well-oiled machine. Years of experience and zero attitude. Just good people making great food. In a neighborhood full of tourist traps, this hole-in-the-wall is throwing haymakers. Sometimes the best escape in NYC isn't a rooftop... It's a Cuban sandwich and a plastic tray. And honestly... I'd pick that every time. #nycfood #hiddennyc #midtowneats

My main complaint is that they are really stingy on portions. They always give 1 plantain and when I ask for more, the lady gives me a dirty look and says 1 is the limit. Everyone agreed with my suggestion to eat Latin American food and we made a reservation at Buena Vista, not far away from our hotel and also not far from the theater. We came over a bit early, around 5:15 and were immediately seated. We were immediately impressed by the business model. It is a melange of Latin American and Iberian faire with exquisite curation. Their cocktails were absolutely delightful, I had a Pantalones en Fuego, others had an exquisite margarita with passion fruit flavor and a Daiquirí de Fresa, just amazing. Then we ordered interminable Hors d'oeuvres. Their ham croquetas and mushroom croquetas were the rage, as well as the tostoncillos ibéricos and ceviche limeño, The main courses followed, a paella valenciana for two, the magret de pato, a delicious duck dish, and a grilled Argentine parrilla. Not bad for four people. Dessert included churros and tres leches. And of course, a bottle of a great Verdejo. Service was just flawless. We had several staff members all contributing to making our Father's Day evening special. All around us it was festive, with plenty of well dressed Spanish speakers in several tables, and the accents of a half a dozen Spanish speaking countries. Plenty of gringoes too. A beautiful collection of diversity. We left happy, ready to see "Oh Mary" and wanting to return
