Lincare is a total scam, they billed my insurance for $700 for a mask, don't give them your credit card. They automatically take money out for no reason worst people ever waited two months for a mask. Got the wrong one to billed my insurance company for $632 for a mask. Get it on Amazon in two days. Frustrated with dealing with Lincare. Transferred multiple times every time I call..and on hold every time again. Need more patience and empathy for clients as we are all dealing with Health issues when we contact you. I am SO happy I switched to Coastal Diagnostics. The Customer Service, the time explaining and helping me, and information/tips I was given was so much more than anything I experienced at LinCare. Worst medical supply company anywhere, hands down. The only thing they are good at, is mis-billing( over charging) harassing people with phone calls and never helping with an actual issue. Lincare is the perfect example as to why Amazon and online retailers are so successful. Nobody wants to deal with Lincare. For the last 8 years I have had nothing but trouble trying to get supplies for my sleep apnea machine which was acquired from Lincare. Everytime I call for more supplies I am told my account is inactive and that I need to see my Dr. for a new prescription. Then when I finally get everything straightened out I am told my insurance does not cover the costs when, in fact, the insurance company says they do cover costs for sleep apnea. I am tired of being lied to and not getting my equipment I need. I have never seen anything like this. This company offers the poorest customer service I have ever seen! I will have to look elsewhere the get the help I need because Lincare either can't or won't offer it to me! My question to Lincare is, Why are you in business? It surely has nothing to do with offering health care services to your clients so they can remain healthy and alive. read more

Waited over a month for an appointment. Arrived on time and waited 30 minutes for someone to even talk to me. Their presentation for a new c-pap was on a post-it note and only for the $$$ that I would need to pay each month. None of the new equipment was shown or explained to me. It seemed to me that their main concern was the almighty dollar. I do not feel comfortable allowing them to take care of anything for me without having to triple check them! Will seek help elsewhere! read more

I give them a one star only because I can't go lower. Their service is horrible. It took them over a year to get me in for a CPAP machine. Then the cheap, junk headgear broke and they refused to help me. I had to buy one myself from Amazon. The office women are rude, argumentative, and have no concept of the old saying, "the customer comes first". They completely suck in the highest order of bad. Unfortunately, there is no other option. Need help getting extra hands works more sleep I went to another supplier of medical equipment for sleep apnea the services was just adequate, but the customer services was terrible. Leading to them taking away my equipment prior to the end of service!! In a small town/city sometimes getting the best services is sometimes hard. So the difference is the people. The service I got was excellent, Ms Lisa was thorough and explained the use of the equipment..as excellent as a flight steward. read more

PeaceHeath, a hospital chain with facilities in Eugene, Springfield, Coos Bay and Florence, referred me to Lincare as a licensed Medicare provider. A few years ago, I went to their Florence office and asked to get my old CPap machine tested. They were rude, and told me I needed a sleep study. I tried a different North Bend provider. Their Respiratory Therapist told me my machine needed to be replaced. I got the sleep study in Florence, though I'd been on the machines for at least ten years in another state. It took my Medicare and secondary insurance and recommended continuing on a CPap which they provided. Much later I went back to Lincare in Florence to buy a replacement for the nosepiece. A different staff person said they couldn't sell it to me, without explaining why. My guess is that they were forbidden to take new clients by Medicare. Recently PeaceHarbor referred me again to Lincare and another provider in Eugene for different durable medical equipment (DRE). Lincare in Eugene referred me to their Coos Bay office. After reading the reviews here, I'm going to use the other provider. read more

Very poor service. Employees do not notify my doctor of further testing needed to keep my equipment that I have for sleep apnea. They bill me then the primary insurance then Medicare as my secondary. They don't return calls and don't document appropriately when I call them and don't give me correct information. So sorry I went back to that company. After 8 years I am going to get my concentrator taken away guess I will have to look for a new company. read more

Wow. I moved from another state to Oregon about a 1 1/2 years ago. My CPAP quit working a couple nights ago. I called the company that I bought the CPAP from, they said it sounded like my power adapter had gone bad. They recommended I find someone close to my location and take the unit in and try a new power cord to confirm their suspicion before blowing over a 100.00 for a replacement. I called Lincare in Coos a spoke with a lady there. I explained the situation and she told me that I needed to go to my primary care physician and obtain documentation for a sleep study and take it to them before they would help me. Thinking I didn't explain my situation clearlyand or she wasn't listening to me, I restated my concern that it was only the power cord I needed to check. Her response was, are you one of our customers? I said no, I haven't required any services since moving. I just need a way to check my power cord. She said we will only do that for our customers and you will need to go through your primary care physician for us to help you. I hung up. I would love to see the document stating this policy because my impression now is just another Lazy person unwilling to help any one out. The type that would rather make up crap and sell it off to you than spare less than 5 minutes. The bottom line is, I will drive another 2 hours to get support rather than EVER go see this company if needed. I support business that have happy customers who are often created by first impressions of a company. Sad thing about the where we are at on the Oregon coast, we are isolated and some options are limited. Luckily I'm financially in a position where I don't have to eat all the crap shoveled my way. For your consideration before you call this place. Update!!! I took the Resmed AC adapter to our local Ace Hardware that has a Radio shack inside. The Ace representative was very happy to test the adapter and confirmed it was bad. Less than five minutes...... Hmmmm Thank You ACE.... enough said. Actions speak louder than words. read more
