My experience is relating to job seeking, thus the neutral rating, I don't want to give people the impression that I experienced bad business. I have years of experience driving for a vending company and the post office. I have a clean driving record, valid license, insurance, good credit, I'm a good person, and I don't know why they wouldn't hire me. I wish there were more transparency in the world. I could help these guys; they have a lot of complaints from customers. I would be a good employee, I would reach out to customers, I could help raise awareness and customer satisfaction, but after a phone interview, I was ghosted. read more

RATING ZERO. What a shame. Rick's used to give 100% superior service, before they got bought out by some healthcare company that has ruined them beyond recognition. Even tried their online "CONTACT" form... is this some kind of joke? I'm finding someone else or I'll simply order online for less money..... My husband had the worse experience getting a CPAP from them. They didn't give him complete instructions when he was in the office & expected him to drive the 35 miles back to getting the instruction book & additional info. They invoicing is beyond pathetic. Couldn't get an answer as to what he owed & months behind on billing. That doesn't even go to say about the phones. No one answers half the time. He had to order new mask parts & first time wrong parts came. Second time again wrong parts. No one wants to take any responsibility for bad service. He is personally done with Rick's & won't be going back. Took all of the equipment in & dropped in their office! Definitely wouldn't go to them for anything. I had my own issues with them trying to get a hand brace. My husband was able to use our insurance out of pocket debit card but when i went in there the newbie told me i could not. No explanation when i asked just told i could not. If you could give negative stars, i don't think they even warrant the one star i gave them. Horrible service!! read more

I will no longer support Ricks Medical Supply here in Roseburg, which is unfortunate, as I like to support local businesses. Although, the front desk folks are friendly, that's where customer service ends. My C-Pap will be up for replacement April of 26, however the humidifier has not been working for sometime.. It says contact support....yada yada. So I did. First got told that they would replace it with a new machine, as they didn't have parts any longer for mine, and they no longer carried that model as well. But, I did take it in the next day, to see if parts could be repaired.....then taken into a back room and the same was repeated and yes, they could replace my machine. But, then she went further into the bowels of that building, checking in with someone unseen in another room and returned to apologize to me but I would need to make an appointment with my provider, secure another prescription, have it approved by insurance before they could issue me another machine. What a waste of my time, resources and my Drs. time. I'm done with them. read more

Called to see if my dr ordered my brace i called three times and they haven't answered the phone

This rating is Zero. My doctor at Shaw Heart in Roseburg said to go to Rick's for support hose because of my leg surgery...I had to call the supplier of the hose to get help to get the right ones, they do not sell direct to the customer and I must go through Rick's. The ones I bought from Rick's do not stay up/no elastic band around them. This is my first time buying these kind of stockings, which I need to use for my veins. The hose company said to take them back to Rick's and Rick's can get ones replaced from the company, the kind I need, said that Rick's call them if there are problems. I went back to Rick's and told them this. They acted very surprised. They said they have a no exchange/return policy. This is not true--the hose company will exchange the product to make the customer happy. I go back to Rick's on Monday. Wish me luck--but I shouldn't be asking you to wish me luck--this is a standard policy by the companies that supply Rick's--they wish to please the customer. ROSEBURG! WE NEED A BIGGER AND MORE PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL SUPPLY STORE--ONE THAT IS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ABLE TO HELP CUSTOMERS! We have a large senior population. We need more services that actually help seniors and disabled people. Grove Medical is nice but too small. Rick's is packed with stuff but not up-to-date and not consumer friendly or professional. I recommended this place to my wife for an elderly lady she helps. I feel horrible because they totally mislead both my wife and her elderly friend/client. The recliner does not have an extension to the footrest as described, it's just a very small inferior footrest. I feel that misleading an elderly patient is unacceptable morally but is also bad business. Watch out for a 25% restocking fee even if the item you ordered is not as promised. It's simply unethical. There is never an excuse for taking advantage of the elderly or anyone for that matter. This chair was not accurately described! My wife feels bad for trusting this company as they are proving to be unworthy of that trust. My wife wrote them an email yesterday to give them a chance to do the right thing, but they have not even responded. As a prior business owner, I find the actions of this company irresponsible and dishonest. If you treat your customers good they come back. When you are more worried about money, it will adversely effect your success as a business. read more

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! My husband was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and another local medical supply company said it would be a month before they could get him a cpap machine. We contacted Rick's and it was done the SAME DAY!!!! I am extremely impressed and grateful for their kindness and support. read more

I wish I had read the reviews for Rick's Medical Supply prior to conducting business with them, as my experience with their service and business practices seems to duplicate the awful experiences of others. What I find remarkable is their total lack of interest in assisting their customers with defective items bought at their store(s). In my particular case they acknowledged the manufacturing defect in the 3-month old item, but could only offer, "We don't provide exchanges or refunds due to Covid restrictions. It's a company policy. But you can call the manufacturer and see if they'll do something for you. And you can always shop online with someone that has a return policy." That bit of advice will certainly be taken to heart and acted on in the future. I hope my comments will prompt others to steer well clear of Rick's Medical Supply stores and find other options for purchasing important medical items. **That's unfortunate because I feel it's important to shop locally to encourage prosperity in the community. read more

I am forced to get my Diabetic supplies from here through my insurance (Oregon Health Plan/DCIPA) and these guys enjoy a monopoly for the area.. The pen needles supplied (Droplet brand) I would say are maybe 20% dull, and are hard to pierce skin without pain. The answer from staff? Ummmm... I need a longer needle.. Yeah, I need a decent needle meant for human patients, and not cut rate supplies rejected from Veterinary offices you cheap facks. If you can afford anything at all, buy from Walmart. At their cheapest, at least the needles are sharp and don't drag the skin. I've considered stopping treatment because of the shoddy ass supplies from this place. read more

I am so disappointed and sickened by the service we received from this company. We got a bed from Ricks Medical supply for our mother so she could live out the remainder of her life at home with her family. She ended up passing at 1:00 am Wednesday morning. After numerous calls to them to have the bed picked up, they finally picked it up 6 days later. Our poor father had to look at that bed day after day being reminded that his wife of 52 years had passed away in his living room. The final call I made on Monday (six days of still being there) I was rudely hung up on by a female who answered the phone, she stated I didn't have any right to insist they pick up the bed immediately. I couldn't believe how insensitive she was. I will never use that company again or recommend them. No one should be treated like that in time of grieving. read more

My son has to get medical supplies monthly. Rick's Medical has consistently given us the wrong size pull up for months. I have called and spoken to them only to have them argue with me about the size he is needing. I even had his primary care physician write a new prescription with the size needed back in December, it is March and he is still receiving pull ups two sizes too small for him. This causes soiling of bedding and clothes and in the car and in the community, because they refuse to give him the correct size. They have a monopoly in our area and do not see the need to treat those who are disabled with the dignity they deserve. Shame if you Rick's Medical Supply, for taking advantage of the most vulnerable in our community!! read more
