We returned rented equipment and closed our account. 3 months later we received a bill for roughly $90. After many phone calls they said they would take care of it. Out of the blue, NINE months later, we received another bill for roughly $150 saying we're extremely past due. Tried calling billing area and either could get thru or hung up on. Got a hold of someone and they confirmed our account was reconciled and closed over a year ago. Still more phone calls to make to get this straightened out hopefully once and for all. read more

The worst company I have ever dealt with! Every week it's something with getting my refilled oxygen tanks! Nobody put the order in, they confirm delivery date and never show up. I waited almost 2 years for a portable oxygen concentrator and it stopped charging within a year. They picked it up and now nobody knows what is going on with it or my replacement. read more

I was looking for a nebulizer for my husband. I called the location in Bristol and they were very rude so then I looked up in Google and found that there was another location in West Hartford so I called and I must say these people were very nice a young lady there went an extra mile to get my husband his nebulizer. I would recommend this place to anyone because they were so kind and after being stressed out with the process, the outcome was great. read more

Incredibly BAD customer service. They never answer the phone. After 20 minutes on hold, get the corporate call center who will "send them the message". It takes days to get a replacement oxygen concentrator and the model they use has failed twice in 6 months. The reason is easy to figure out - the filters cannot be removed and cleaned, so, obviously dust builds up in it. Ordering new cannulas and tubing - forget it, they never come. I have no choice in provider due to insurance. read more

Should be zero stars. I have tried to log onto the website Patient Portal many times and it does not work. Yes, I enfettered the data correctly. Chat is a joke. You are forced to call them and wait times are extremely long (+30m). Its not the employees (don't get mad at them who answer the phone) .....its the management of this company that does not ever resolve these issues or add the proper staff. I have dealt with this company for many years for my CPAP supplies. I am in need of new hoses and a machine to monitor the pressure on the machine. I had an updated sleep study in November 2021, I met with my doctor and he sent my prescription over to Lincare with his recommendations. I have called weekly to see the status of my equipment, I was given the run around with every possible problem cited....now I am on hold for scheduling...it has been over a half an hour, their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced! never answer the phone, always on hold for at least 30-45 mins just to be told from corporate they will leave a message. they call incessantly to confirm your refill of a filter and mask- don't know why they can't just send it, since they know we are using the machine. read more

this place is denying my 85 year old mom the oxygen she has requested for months now. you cannot reach mr hickey the local contact despite his reassurance to call anytime. we have left messss as he's for weeks with no response. they are taking Medicare benefits and taking advantage of my mom and not giving her the oxygen tanks she is pleading for. someone shoukd investigate this office as a nurse I would not refer someone I care about here. read more

I recommend West Hartford Lincare ! I've had positive results using their services. My delivery person ,Dan, is very personable ,knowledgeable, and tries his best to see that I have all I need .He also will call to update my delivery time etc. Very good dependable service ! read more

This company has the worst customer service ever. From my first call trying setup service spoke with them 8 time giving them my insurance info. They never called over a month. When I called them to see why my supplies hadn't been received they said they were waiting on approval. I asked what insurance did they have. When they told me,, I said really after I gave them my new insurance personally 8 times. Then they told me I had to be fitted for my mask. So I went to the office in West Hartford to sign the paperwork no fitting. Then today I call after weeks of not receiving my supplies after being mailed the wrong nasal cushions. I have been without oxygen for three days. Not only am I getting worse but it leaves me very afraid. The girl who answered the phone in the W.H. office yesterday was very rude. She also put me on hold and never came back to the phone. The man who usually delivers (who is very nice), went on vacation but instead of hiring someone to do his route, evidently their customers are supposed to go without a LIFE necessity while he is gone. First of all it took my dads doctor 3 times to call and get anyone, second even after the guy came to pick up the air compressor and tanks they still continued to charge medicare and my dad, i called several times, and finally was told that the main office needs to fax the discharge papers to them in Florida. I decided to go there myself. I got them to look into the paperwork and the guy who picked up the equipment put down the wrong code, so that we kept being charged for stuff we didnt have. They fixed it, but 2 months later dad got another bill. Went again, they said not to worry, they refaxed it and fixed the code,..... again? So now its been 3 or 4 x they have charged medicare for false reasons.. we will never use lincare from west hartford ever again!!! read more

They really don't call u back. When I got my CPAP machine, I was told I'd get automatic supplies sent out via mail, hasn't happened in 10 months. I call and leave a message. No return call. I call back in a week, ask to leave a message for a different person, no call back. The home office is still calling me (I return their calls) asking for billing information and doctors notes, but I own the CPAP outright. I use the machine every night and have since I got it. I'm not going to give up and buy the stuff I need online. I have insurance to use! I'm amazed a company like this can survive at all. read more

Do not waste your time. We've been waiting for an order for almost 2 months when I was told they have a 5 day turn around time. The doctor sent them the order 3 times and they finally found it 3 weeks ago but nobody returns calls and urgent was even written on the messages I left with headquarters. I have called Lincare repeatedly over the past several months for my bi-pap supplies. I have had my insurance call them twice in the last few weeks. They promised they would send out my supplies within 24-48 hours. Again this did not happen. I last received my bi-pap supplies I am to receive every 3 months on 8/23/18. They lie and claim they need insurance authorization, but that was granted on 12/11/18 to cover until 12/11/19. I am going on 4 months now overdue for my bi-pap supplies. This is unacceptable. With this kind of customer service, I cannot believe they are still in business. read more

IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of! And, they never sent additional supplies. I ran out of sponges and cannulas and had to buy my own.

I need to rely on Lincare for my oxygen tank refills. It is always difficult to arrange the delivery of the tanks. Usually the phone is busy, but if I do get thru, there is a recorded 'please hold' message. After speaking with the person on the phone and giving my order info, I have to pry out from them the day that the delivery will occur (they will only come to my town on Fridays and Mondays and need a days notice). I cannot be given a specific time so I have to wait around all day to take delivery of the tanks. Even when I have said that I had a doctor appointment in the afternoon they cannot promise a morning delivery. Luckily on that day, they were so late that they arrived after I returned from the doctor's office. I wish that there was an alternative for the deliveries so that I would not have to deal with the poor customer service from Lincare. read more

I am amazed that this company does not even get it right on a random basis. Their incompetence even beats out random odds of mistakenly getting something correct. When you can actually get someone on the phone they sound confidant and competent but their promises of delivery or call back never seem to come through. read more
