Brandon was open, honest, and patient throughout the entire selection process. He never pressured us to make a purchase and encouraged us to take our time--literally allowing us to lie on each mattress for over 10 minutes, multiple times, until we found what worked best. We spent about 2-3 hours in the store, and not once did we feel rushed. Our first choice was a floor model that was an unbeatable deal. It arrived on time, in perfect condition, but after about three weeks, we realized the mattress just didn't meet our needs. Thanks to the warranty, we returned to the store, and Brandon provided the exact same level of exceptional service during the exchange. He once again walked us through several options, let us test them thoroughly, and made sure we left with a mattress we truly love. We also purchased two pillows during our first visit, and when one started causing neck pain, Brandon helped us exchange it under warranty without any hassle. Overall, Brandon delivered top-tier customer service every step of the way. His professionalism, transparency, and genuine care turned what could have been a stressful process into a great experience. Mike, the store manager, was super helpful and friendly when it came to helping us pick out a mattress that fit our budget and needs. We were thinking about returning it for a while because it wasn't quite as comfortable as we expected it to be but eventually decided not to because it was almost paid off and an egg carton topper helps enough. Mike was super helpful when we were thinking about exchanging and even kept the window open for us longer than usual. We're super satisfied with our experience when it comes to Mattress Firm. The reason I didn't write the review until now is because the financing company they work with that doesn't require credit, Progressive Leasing, has been extremely problematic. While Mattress Firm doesn't own Progressive Leasing and they can't control what they do, Mattress Firm does work with them regularly and has a contract with them so I felt like it was important to include. Progressive Leasing has been difficult to work with from the start. We wanted to set up higher payments so we could pay off our account early and initially, they didn't understand what we meant and we had to argue with them about it for a while before it was fixed. We found out about 10 weeks ago, that they were still taking money out of our account after we paid our contract off early. They took roughly $200 from us before we noticed; we weren't looking for that transaction because we were told our contract was paid off. They did refund the money but it took 10 weeks to go through and they're difficult to get a hold of because they close super early even though they're in our time zone. Edit to add: After I posted this review, the refund disappeared from our account, where it had been pending. Unfortunately, we are probably going to have to escalate matters. Again, I understand that Progressive Leasing is not owned or managed by Mattress Firm but they do business together. I highly urge people not to use them.

The kid who sold it to us was nice but he said it was more medium and this thing is plush! And I admit I did try it, but when you're laying on dozens of mattress in one day, it becomes difficult to accurately gauge everything. Here's the real problem.... they try to sell you a mattress protector that costs hundreds of dollars. I don't remember the kid saying this (he probably didn't), but if you don't spend that extra money, you can't return it. So even though we bought our own reputable mattress protector for a fraction of the price online, they simply won't accept it. It's a really lousy way to do business. My back is destroyed. He was incredibly patient with us as we tested his recommendations and decide on what we wanted to go for. Delivery day came and the team was so great! They helped us choose a height for the base, made sure to set out moving blankets so they did not scratch the wood floor, and made sure we were happy with the placement. They also brought a new houseplant, bottle of champagn, and card from their staff congratulating us in our new home. Seriously love our new bed and so thankful we stumbled into this store! Could not recommend enough!
