The current tenant was nice enough to reach out and let me know the person they showed it to after us had signed a lease. She ran an open house and even unstopped a toilet after one of the viewers plugged it - I never thought that would be a seller's agent service! Kathy was there through the entire sale. I had moved, and was no longer able to be on site, and she handled all of the last minute issues before closing. My house sold quickly and at near asking price, which means that it was correctly priced and well represented. She earned her commission and I am ever grateful.

Apartments come with electric, AC, cable access, and it's right on a main bus route. Distance to Umass is about 3 miles. The units are usually two story and no one lives above you. It i generally a quiet place and is family oriented. The service here is very good but don't bring your pets as they are prohibited by the animal police. Our unit was in the back and on the end. Parking was easy either in the back or front. We lived here for two years before we moved and never had any real problems.

Knight Realty owns many properties and I know he's a very busy guy yet weekly he would personally walk the property to assure that everything was running smoothly. He interacted with the tenants in seeking a quick resolve to ANY issues. His presence showed his care and concern for both the well being of his property and his tenants. Kevin personally and quickly returns phone calls and I can say in all sincerity that in the 8 years I rented from him I never had any issues outside of the normal occasional clogged sink etc and they were always handled quickly and professionally. This is an agency that doesn't care about the customer, look elsewhere for someone who knows the market and is willing to put in the work.

Aside from being dishonest with the Town and tenants, he is unwilling to communicate or negotiate to resolve issues that should be common business sense to anyone reputable. Crossman shows no concern whatsoever for his tenants' satisfaction or respect for their rights, nor does he exhibit any accountability or obligation to them. UMASS should NOT be including any of his properties in their off-campus housing listings given this behavior and history of complaints against him. Do yourself a big favor and avoid the hassle by going elsewhere.
