We got a deluxe cabin at Lincoln Rock State Park and it was so nice and had all of the basics. We made sure to check first and brought our own pillows, linens, towels, etc. But the deluxe cabins have bunk beds, a queen futon, full bath (shower), kitchen sink, and mini fridge. There are lots of nice places to walk around, too. read more

What a well maintained facility. This was our 2nd time tent camping at Lincoln Rock. A real nice treat to camp on grass and not dirt. Be aware that this beautiful grass is beautiful beautiful it is watered daily. Best to review the sprinkler watering table on the community billboard...you don't want to be surprised when your section sprinkler's turn on. Bathrooms are clean, showers are clean. The showers take a special token...get them at the token machine ... main entry and also at the group campground. The lake is remarkable. It's popular so it can get busy at the swim area. As the son of parents who are never really all that into camping, it wasn't something that we did very much growing up. Our kids were very excited at the prospect of sleeping in a tent, so we figured we, along with some friends, would give it a try. One of our friends was tasked with finding the spot for us to actually camp. After staying here, we were happy we gave her the responsibility! Lincoln rock state park is located just outside Wenatchee, about two hours from Yakima. It's basically a park with campsites, and this was absolutely what we were looking for. They have a small store where you can get supplies that you forgot, a nice water front area where people are able to launch boats and some nice areas to swim in the river at a couple of small inlets. There were plenty of trails, lots of shelter for BBQs and a nice play structure for kids to climb on. The bathrooms are exactly what you would expect to find a park, but it was excellent to have a place to go to the bathroom that wasn't a hole in the ground. They also have showers that are available, though you do have to use tokens to use them. One token is $.50 and get you about three minutes of hot water. Roughing it for some, not rough enough for others, exactly the balance we were looking for! Each campsite has a small area for cars to pull in, most had plenty of shade, and all of them had at least one picnic table. You were limited to eight people and 2 tents at a campsite, and they pay attention as our neighbors definitely got cited for this as it looked like a family reunion was taking place. The site rental was something like $30 and these things filled up quick, so make sure you plan early. I'm not sure what makes a campground any better than this other than it being free and/or having WiFi (kinda defeats the purpose, yes?), but either way, this place was exactly what we were hoping for. We'll plan on staying two nights next time! read more

Fantastic day use and camping park, we've come here for years and it's just super nicely maintained. Great large sites, clean bathrooms, nice beach area and lots of parking. They also have sports courts and rentable day use areas. The only down side for campers is the wind, they got some pretty nasty gusts and winds blowing through, you gotta keep an eye on tents, chairs and other things. read more

We really loved Lincoln rock state park. We rented one of the deluxe cabins after Labor Day. It wasn't swimming weather, but it was nice for walking. Has a great walking path and I imagine in the summer this is a hot spot. There is a Store on site, boat, and JetSki and kayak rentals on site. Excellent group camp area. Lots of sport areas as well! Three volleyball nets. Horseshoe pits, Tennis, Pickleball, soccer, and baseball. Excellent group camp area! The camping area looks pretty spacious. RV sites were also spacious. I wasn't impressed with the regular cabins. But the deluxe cabins were right up my alley! Loved that it has a bathroom with sink and shower, as well as a sink, microwave and mini fridge(no freezer) and cupboards to store your food and dishes in. Along with a closet to hang clothes, but bring hangers if you want to hang anything. The queen size futon wasnt very comfortable, but we managed. But the double bunkbeds felt like they had better sleeping mattresses. We stayed warm and dry. They have a heater and air conditioner. If staying in one of the cabins, bring your own bedding, towels and dishes. We will definitely stay there again. It is now on our favorites list and can't wait to go back in mid summer with family. Located right next to Rocky Reach dam. We were able to drive to Leavenworth from here and ride the Alpine coaster and spend the day. We also spent time in Wenatchee. Checked out the Ohme Gardens. And the pybus market then went and ate some wonderful Mexican food at Lafuente! I recommend everything I mentioned above. read more

One of the nicest parks for camping and RVing. We especially love the bike trail that connects to the Wenatchee Apple loop trail. This 20 mile ride passes through various parks that have incredible flowers and sculptures. Then there are the sitings of the occupied eagle and osprey nests. Throw in a couple of 5 foot snakes and a young buck, and it just doesn't get any better. And then the park has well maintained tennis courts, a soccer field, and all the water experiences you would want. read more

At the end of September, we stayed at Lincoln Rock State Park for nine days. The space had full hookups, electricity, water, and sewer and had a beautiful view of the Columbia River. Our two closest neighbors were far enough away that we felt secluded in our spot. The park has trails, playgrounds, docks and large green areas. This was ideal for our two children, two and four, to burn off energy every day. If the weather had been a little warmer, the two girls would have probably spent the majority outside running around. The check-in process was simple, the only complaint I have is they only accept cash or check. Luckily, we had our checkbook and could pay for the nine days we were planning on staying. Our neighbors were quiet and on a few occasions, celebrations would stop abruptly at 10:00 PM to respect quiet hours. The bathrooms are clean and there is onsite recycling. If you were visiting Wenatchee, I would highly recommend staying here. This state park is better than more RV resorts we have stayed at (although, there is not amenities here). This is a well kept shaded grassy park. We stayed in an RV. We had sinus allergy issues here tho. This park is patrolled regularly by park rangers and dog leash law strictly enforced. Huge area between RV sites. This is a great place to camp with children. Huge play area, swimming area, boat launch and trails to ride bikes. Clean bathrooms. The tent camping area is very shaded. Right on the Columbia River Lake Entiat. My only issue is their grass watering routine. They have posted on the bathroom exterior the watering schedule for your site. Just a warning so you don't put your tent on top of a water head. They water for an hour. We went into Wenatchee everyday during that time. They don't water Sat and Sun. Stayed here nights early June Sunday through Wednesday. While the loop for RVs with electric/sewer/power was mostly full the rest of the park was empty. Very quiet. Very well cared for but as others mentioned, be prepared for the daily watering. Bathroom was very clean but I hear there isn't really hot water in he showers. Great location. Tennis courts are very nice. We will certainly be back. Hopefully booking early enough to get one of the view spots. read more

I am surprised by all the 5-star ratings. The camp was quite dirty when I was in town for the week. I felt gross using the bathroom and shower -- it wasn't cleaned as often as it should be with how crowded the camp was. Long gross strands of hair pasted on the shower walls and all over the shower drain. Filthy toilets and sinks. The park itself is verdant (if grassy lawns are your thing), but very crowded. read more

I just got back from camping at Lincoln State Park. I was a little nervous going solo for my first night, but right from the start I had nothing to worry about. My first night it was super windy and I had to set up my tent ...my good looking neighbor Evan came right over to help. My hero! We set it up in no time. Him and his family were there if I needed anything. There was also another family next to me. It's open but spacious. I had campsite 62..it can get hot in the morning...it's across from the bathroom....there are hot showers! You can purchase tokens, 3 mins for hot water. So many wonderful amenities...check out their website. Bruce the man at their store was awesome! I purchased a floaty and thought I brought my pump..but forgot it, he helped me pump it up instead. I liked him so much I bought 2 more and strawberry ice cream! The place was quiet too. Lots of activities but everyone was so respectful. 5 star for sure! read more

Beautiful campsite tucked away just off the beaten path. Every site looks to be easy to maneuver and there is just enough room in between camp sites. Many sites in the upper have a view of the water. You can easily access the water from paved trails all over the park. The staff were super helpful and the park was very clean. There are a ton of rock chucks around. They are super cute to watch but we did see them crawling up under campers vehicles. read more

Arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and stayed until Saturday morning. Wife and I stayed in one of the deluxe cabins (#12) with AC, firepit, grill, shower/bath, kitchenette, etc. Our son and his family stayed next door (five of them). Not much for camping, but I had a wonderful time. River swimming area, large playground, plenty of paths to walk, clean restrooms, gorgeous views, and much more. Only about 4 miles off the state highway (US2 & 97), not far from grocery stores and supplies. Bring dishes, silverware, grillware, towels, bedding; leave the monotony behind! Feels like what I imagine prison would be like. There are volunteers and rangers everywhere watching everyone's every action. Everything is too spread out to walk between RVs, campsites, and cabins but there's a shortage of parking. Facilities are nice and well maintained but it's not worth it if we can't relax and have fun (the reason we came a long way to be here). It also smells like dead fish everywhere because of the full trash bins. Will not recommend this place. read more

We had a wonderful experience renting a boat today at Lincoln Rock State Park. Our host, Steve, was THE nicest kind of person. He was friendly and easygoing. He was very helpful when making reservations and at check in. Our boat was very clean and we loved our time on the water! We even saw a bald eagle! read more

Okay park..very windy... Don't come on a weekend when there's a church group. Everyone is sensitive. Quite after 10 but people can play there guitars,banjos and sing at 630/7 am They even complain what time you should have gone to bed. Excuse me its camping not church.. If you can't handle fun then you shouldn't be camping stay home. read more

We have been coming camping here for 7 years both in a tent and a motorhome. Lovely clean place with boating jet skis swimming hiking biking and more. There is a basketball court and soccer field along with cabana areas for group activities. Boat launch and day use areas are well kept along with the bathrooms. read more

I'm not going to get too wordy on this review, so here goes: The good: the park grounds are beautiful. There's a playground, and many other sports equipment for use. There's a snack shack open daily with incidentals and goodies; our kids liked the shaved ice. The lake is sectioned off for swimming. There's critters (lizards, marmots, etc) for the kids to view. The bad: nobody works the booth or ranger station. Check in is in the afternoon but the booth hours posted end at 11. We put a copy of our reservation on our dash to prove it and set up camp. Nobody checked until the following day, around 10. Shortly after the ranger left our site the sprinklers went off. On our tents... Our OPEN tents. My husband asked some of the rangers if they could turn them off but they asked our site number and then said it was posted that the sprinklers were on timers. He asked if we were supposed to pack up daily and move our camp to avoid getting our entire setup soaked. They said YES. Seriously? Oh, and about 30 minutes after the sprinklers went off, a second set went off. There was no open space where we could've set up our tents that didn't get soaked. Our firewood next to the fire pit got soaked too. Nothing was safe. After this great start to our second day we gave up. We had planned to play in the lake, rent sports equipment to play with, camp out another night and have fun. Instead, we called a hotel in Wenatchee and stayed there with a pool, and no sprinklers going off on our beds:) We're planning to buy a trailer or camper by next summer. I'm hopeful that with metal around us, we'll avoid the sprinklers IF we come back:) read more

After staying here for 10 days, I found the park to be outstanding. Maintenance to the grounds are really good.

We came here Saturday and Sunday for a day stop and to rent jet skis. Riverside Recreation has a person here renting jet skis and boats all day, but you have to reserve them if you want a good time slot. The experience was much, cheaper than the places in Chelan and just as good. The park is beautiful and, I had thought it was going to be busy by people, like us using it as a plan B to the Chelan/Manson fires, but except for a bunch of campers in the first section of the park, there weren't many people at all. Do bring your Discovery pass if you have one, otherwise parking is $10 a day. You can buy a $30 year-long discovery pass from the attendants there. read more

Great park. Lots of grassy areas (which they seem to over water in areas). One of the few parks in Eastern WA without bugs! The only bad thing is the Ranger Station for Check-in has extremely limited hours. Great kids play and swim area. Boat mooring docks for overnight so you don't have to deal with launching everyday as the boat ramp can get pretty busy. Columbia River (Lake Enitiat) can be pretty cold even when its well over 100 degrees outside. High water temps in late August are around 66-69, June and July water temps are usually anywhere from 60-65. read more

I will never ever go to this park again. They have the rudest park attendants working for them. Went with some friends camping an decided to go swimming. Went to this park and when pulling in the attendant came out and would wave a person through then turn and hold his hands out confused at why the car pulled through. He did this 6 times. We stopped after he waved is through and looked and he waved the car behind us through and didn't aproach us. So we continued into the park. After my car and two others parked another attendant came across a field an told us that we needed to pay the fee. I told him that the attendant at the front had waved us through and the attendant who approached us said he didn't believe that was true and proceeded to call me a LIAR. I proceeded to explain to him again and he interrupted and I asked him to let me finish and he told me no that he was talking. I work in customer service and if I EVER did this to a customer I would be looking for a new job. There are many ways that this situation could have gone differently but instead he decided to be rude and agressive. I asked for his name and he pulled out a pen and said he could give me a ticket right then and there. Then he said he would be right back as he went to approach another car in our group and start being aggressive toward them also. read more

We've camped at Lincoln Rock twice in the past few years and will be returning this week for another 4 days of fun filled central washington state park goodness. It's a beautiful park, clean and dry with a nice swimming lake. I don't understand why some people think they can give a negative opinion of this park based on their own ignorance. It's a state park. If you have a camping reservation, parking is included for your 1st vehicle. If you are visiting for the day, you either pay for parking or get a discovery pass. These are the guidelines that keep our state parks and campgrounds clean, beautiful and accessible. Keep it real and we'll be lucky to enjoy state park campgrounds for a long time. read more

I gave Lincoln Rock State Park a ONE star. Only because the facility is well maintained. We had originally booked the site expecting a fun camping for the whole family. My sister got in on a Thursday they told her the she can only have 3 tent up in our camping site. Granted we called ahead of time and spoked with someone and was informed that we are allowed unlimited tent. And informed her that the sprinkler system will be on for 45-50 minutes during weekday. Luckily they got there after it got done. When we arrived Friday morning around 11:30 am the sprinkler just started. We had to make sure all our tent and equipment does not get soak with water. In doing that our site got flooded. We had to scoop up the water to the grass for us to be able to move around without getting wet. There rangers everywhere watching us constantly coming by our camping site. Not allowed to park in the campsite but there's a shortage of parking. We cant even relax because the rangers are constantly coming over. I would not recommend this place to any of my family and friends. read more
