I strongly advise not buying a vehicle from this dealer online unless you are able to see it in person. I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2022 Lincoln Navigator from White Plains Lincoln online, and the vehicle arrived in Texas with body damage and torn upholstery that were not visible in the listing photos or disclosed prior to purchase. The photos appear to be taken in a service bay with low lighting and angles that make it difficult to see the condition of the bumpers, running boards, and other lower parts of the vehicle. The vehicle I received has clear impact damage, including dented and scratched bumper panels with separation between the bumper and wheel well, scratched and dented running boards, a dent in the lower portion of the driver door, a cracked windshield (not visible in listing photos but documented in the shipper's pickup photos and report), and severely torn passenger seat upholstery (not shown in any listing photos or disclosed). This is not consistent with the standard I expected from a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that I paid a premium for, especially purchasing it across the country without seeing it in person. After speaking with the GM initially, I felt very comfortable moving forward, but the vehicle delivered was not what I expected. The dealer characterized the condition as "normal wear and tear" and advised me to file a claim with the transport company or my own insurance. This was after I provided their listing photos, the shipper's photos, and my own photos upon delivery. The transport company took 123 photos at pickup, which clearly show the damage was present prior to shipment. After consulting with a local Lincoln dealer to confirm my assessment, I obtained a repair estimate of $12,416. I attempted to work with dealership management for a resolution, but their position has remained that I assumed ownership once the vehicle left their premises and that I should pursue the matter with the shipper or my insurance. Based on my experience, I recommend inspecting any vehicle in person before purchasing from this dealership, especially for out-of-state transactions. I have been dealing with them for 4 years now and i would say a bit less than half of my visits there were pretty bad. Half of the time when they would do a oil change, they would leave grease stains on the interior, and a smell of BO or cologne would be present for part of the day. .. but this last trip was the final straw.. I brought my Navigator Black Label there for a few issues, and they held it for 3 weeks and half the issues they claimed were fixed, weren't!.. Bought a car a year ago. First, the battery was dead 2 days after I got it. They told me to "drive it more". Eventually I dropped it in, they tested it, and in fairness it failed their tests and they replaced it. This year I couldn't get the car inspected, however, as the front windows are tinted. I brought it to them and they said I "must have got lucky" and they would not inspect it. However, they sold it to me originally with inspection passed! Such a terrible experience with Lincoln White Plains for the last 3 years... My Aviator has had a cascade of technical issues and safety recalls...The responsiveness has been far from great, e.g no navigation system for 6 months!! I am now trying to finalize the lease buyout for more than 3 months and their sales team has been totally unhelpful all along the way...and now want to charge me more because I am out of the lease period!! I went in for service on my 3 month old car for the second time for a problem with the sound system. I provided detailed descriptions of the problem. The first time they kept my car 2 days and said they "updated the software." The problem recurred immediately, and I then had to wait 5-6 weeks for an appointment because "they had no loaners available." Last week, they finally picked up my car, kept it for 5 days with no communication as to status; I finally I reached out to them on the 5th day; "oh, yes, it's ready in an hour or so, we updated the software." Surprise. Still not working. Could not get ANY RESPONSE AT ALL from the service team today. NO ONE returned my call, nor did the service manager or the general manager. Clearly they are on the verge of going out of business, as keeping customers satisfied is not a goal. This was my 5th Lincoln, and sadly it will be my last. I have had Ford Motors cars for decades but this has been a terrible experience and there is no excuse for such unprofessional behavior. read more

Service department just doesn't care. My battery died a month ago and had it towed back to the dealer where I bought it. Rather than running diagnostics to determine what was actually happening, they just replaced the battery. A month later or 10 days ago, the same thing. I had it towed back to them. At this point, no one has even looked at the vehicle. Service rep was completely indifferent. I returned from work on a Friday two weeks ago via train and picked up my car at the park and ride as I do daily. 10 mins after the vehicle started, I received a message on the dash mentioning something about the engine coolant. I opened the hood and discovered the coolant reservoir was empty. I left the car parked and called for a tow the next morning. I also contacted Lincoln Service alerting them the there was no coolant, and it will arrive by tow truck. I was advised the certified tech to repair this type of issue will return on Monday. On Monday, I was told that they would test and see if there is a leak. Tuesday I was told, the water pump needs replacement. Wednesday, they wanted to order a gasket and a part related to the engine block. Thursday, I received no call, no update. Friday I called in for an update and told that the engine needs replacement. I have asked for a loaner vehicle daily and was told there were none available. I asked if the warranty service covers any part of a rental. The response was they have to get approval for the parts replacement first, then they can request a rental reimbursement. I asked them to escalate the issue to management. The manager was not in, but he is aware of my issues with the vehicle and Manny (Service Agent) is waiting for a response. Week 2 began with a call from Manny stating they are waiting for a response from the Warranty company. Tuesday I was told they resubmitted information to the warranty company. Today, Thursday is a holiday and the dealership is open. I spoke to Manny and more photos are requested by Lincoln Warranty. Throughout this time period, I have not received a loaner vehicle, no call, email or text from any supervisor or manager. I have been getting by with ride shares which are pretty pricey. Had I known my vehicle would be in the shop for two weeks, I could have made other arrangements to get around and make due. I feel like I am just another number in their line of repairs and a phone call from the manager would have shown accountability, appreciation and support, for their Service Department. This shows really bad customer service by the dealership. I have owned other vehicles in the past. In over 20 years, I have NEVER been left without means of transportation while my vehicle was in the shop for more than a couple of days. I am willing to work with the dealership. They were trying to pawn off a car with 5,000 miles on me instead of what I wanted. Terrible communication from the dealership. We've been doing biz the Lincoln WP since 2012 with very good service. Our Lincoln MKC did not start so we contacted them and had it towed to this shop on a Monday. That day, they called us to ask us which Lincoln (we have several) we had towed in. Another day went by and I had to call several times to get an update on the repair. Finally on Wed, I called again and they said it was the battery. About the week before, they had to replace a connection to the battery for a recall (they actually came to our house, which was nice). The car acted a bit odd right after that but we hardly used it since the recall service. About four months earlier, they talked us into a 60,000 mile tune-up to test and replace multiple things, costing us $2,700 (plus a 2% fee to pay by CC). The test they did on the battery at that time was listed as "GOOD" on their service invoice. I told them their recall technician had to have done something wrong but they disagreed. Now it's Friday and they are charging us nearly $800 to replace the battery diagnostics. The battery was $190 but the total charge was $796. I was irate over this and asked to speak with the Svc Mgr and they said he was off until Tuesday. The GM of the dealership actually called me later that day. I explained the situation to him and he said the battery was just no good and everything else was a coincidence. When I was explaining how the car was making a funny noise, he asked me " how funny?, did it make you laugh". If I could have gone through the phone, I would have. The conversation turned circular and at the end, he told I could pick up the car but had to pay cash or certified funds. I paid the cash today and moved forward. We will never return, nor will we by another Lincoln. read more

I was bullied by the employees of this company. The manager Mike Poznanski and the employee Andrew McFadder never cared about their customers. They never replied to emails. It was a matter of luck to call them because they often didn't answer the phone. I can't fully register my vehicle and get the license plate. I went to the DMV to get the title, and the customer had to keep urging them before they would mail it to my home. However, they forgot to mail the spare key, and I haven't received my spare key yet. During this period, they would not actively communicate with the customer if there was any information that needed to be supplemented. The customer had to make thousands of calls to them to speed up the process). The employee at the DMV told me that the contract I showed showed that I had already paid the registration fee, and there was no need for me to register in person. That was the job of the dealer. The dealer also needed to fill in VEHICLE REGISTRATION/TITLE APPLICATION FOR DEALER SALES Form and sign it, then I can successfully register the car. I immediately sent an email to Andrew, but he was not at work on Monday and could not reply to me immediately. However, I waited until Saturday, August 31st, but did not receive any reply from him, no email or phone call. I was very angry, and I called him countless times, but he did not answer. I called the manager Mike again, and finally he answered my call, but he spoke to me#his customer#, in an impatient manner. You will find that he is a talking deaf person, because he can only talk and quibble, and can't hear what I,#his customer#, say, and then he rudely hung up #his customer# phone. When I called him again, I believe he blocked me. Now the car I bought can only be placed in the garage. Even if the car has car insurance, I can't drive it. Because of these two incompetent employees, I have sent emails to them and all their leaders, and look forward to their replies. read more

The problem with Lincoln White Plains is not with the service they ultimately give you. The problem starts when you need a loaner...something they boast about when they sell you the car...but when you actually need a loaner for service...they make you wait anywhere from 1-2 months! Really? They only have a couple of loaners and this is a luxury dealership? Why do I have to wait a month and half to get a loaner? Yesterday a friend of mine asked me if I could recommend the dealership to lease a car. I could not do it in good conscience. If I can't get service when I need it most...what's the point? My messsge to Lincoln white plains...please don't promote loaners with your luxury cars...when you know it's not true! Also...Monday I had an appointment for a recall on my reverse camera. Monday morning I get a call that they gave my part to someone else and had to reschedule...meanwhile I had to wait like 3 months for it. I was so upset that I asked to speak to a manager and was told that they would have the manager call me. Guess what...never heard back...just crickets! Very upset about with this dealership! Never again! After waiting a year for a catalytic converter it was a disaster. I was told to bring the car in on a Monday and it would be ready midday on Tuesday. When I called on Tuesday I was advised the car would not be ready until the next day. They needed hardware (sure). While on the phone they tried to sell $2,000 of work to me, which I got done for $800.00. The car was finally ready Thursday afternoon. One week later my engine light comes back on surprise its the catalytic converter. What a mess. I lost thousands of dollars with my car sitting in the dealer for days. Never again go somewhere else. Went in for key less key fob that wasn't working for my 2017 ford escape. They told me i needed a new one. $250 for the key and more than $300 for programming of the key. And when i balked at that price, the service manager immediately launched into "can i offer you a discount." I asked them if it was the battery, they said no. I said don't do anything. "Under New Management" means 4X the price. I had brought our vehicle here for years. Last fall, I've had them mount and balance my winter tires - $95. Then yesterday, I get a small nail in the tire. I bring it in, trusting they'll do a great job as before, until I got the bill - $120!!! When any and every tire shop will charge at MOST $40 to patch a hole and remount/rebalance the tire. I was polite and calm, trying to calculate how is it that mounting and balancing four tires is $95, yet patching a hole (10 min. labor), and remounting/rebalancing a single tire is $120? The manager got defensive, and along with his two other service advisors proceeded to tell me this is how much time it took their tech. Sure, but fundamentally, when you charge $95 to mount and balance FOUR tires, and then proceed to screw a return customer with a $120 for a SINGLE tire, don't expect them to leave with a positive experience. They also constantly tell you to leave them great review with Lincoln corporate when they call. Well, you can count on me being quite honest with my feedback when they call. I felt like I was ripped off by this service dept. brought my vehicle in because the cross track and blind spot camera wasn't working. They had my car for 4 days. Told me my mirror needed to be replaced to fix the problem and would run me an additional $1000. On top of the $750 for the so called work that they did to determine that that was the problem. I decided not to replace the mirror. Then I come to find out that their was just a wire in the mirror that was broken and it just needed a new connector. Had the connector replace by my nephew took him five minutes to fix. Saved $1000 and got ripped off of $750 for a diagnosis. Wouldn't bring my car there ever again. read more

Pauly from the service department took great care of me and replaced the battery for an extremely reasonable price and also informed me of a few other issues I had with my car. He put on no pressure about getting the work done but just wanted me to know and explained the safety risks of driving with out the work. This place was the worst customer service and scam artists I have seen in my 20 yrs of buying cars. I go there interested in purchasing a CPO Lincoln MKZ I seen online. Of course when I arrived it was not available. There was another vehicle identical to the one I was interested in. Test drove it and it had way lower miles then the one I was looking at. Upon further looking the bumper was not properly installed and ton of cosmetic scratches all over the vehicle. No problem because most dealers will work with you to fix minor problems like this to secure deal. The used car manager George says no problem we will fix bumper and fix cosmetic scratches. I put a $500 deposit down and go with deal. They say it will take a couple days. Ends up being in shop all week. Finally they say it's ready. I go to dealer ready to finalize deal. I take first look at car the bumper is actually secured. However 3 out of the 20 scratches was fixed. Not sure how that works. Anybody who knows auto body you can't fix one part of bumper but not blend other side that still has scratches. Amateur night. Now here's the kicker. Now I see that one of the tires has a gigantic gash going right though it. It's shiny because they put tire shine on this gash so it had bubbles of water coming out of it. George the used car manager comes outside and tells me "How did we not know you took this then hit a curb? Hmmm I'm gonna have to go with common sense would of told you the car has no plates still, I just pulled up and did the walk around with the salesman. Interesting as a manager you have no clue about what goes on in the cars in your lot? Magically took a car without them knowing? LMAO! Right it gets better. I'm about to walk out salesman pitches me another car. The one I originally was interested in was there. Actually in great condition. Decide to go thru with this deal now. 2 hrs later I sign deal and switch insurance over. About to walk out dealership Used car Manager comes out says hold on. Apparently says he can't sell the car someone else was ironically supposed to get it now. Tells me " Don't worry we will fix tire on original car you wanted you can get that one" Twilight zone stuff. I say No Way! The lovely manager George gets irate like a kid and I walk out never to been seen in this scam dealership. Of course got my deposit back like 2 weeks later. I have pictures of this tire and deal I signed for. Also I have receipt of my deposit and refund since they tried to lie about that as well. My wife and I bought our first car together at WP Lincoln. It was used so we purchased the warranty. We had many issues with the Jeep and when it came time for the warranty to prove its value, it measured up 'ok' at best and we found it mostly unhelpful. The reason we are giving three stars and not one is because there are some awesome employees at Lincoln. Marc especially was so great to work with and very helpful, we will miss him. The manager of the warranty department quite frankly should not be a customer facing employee, she was not pleasant to work with and after we sold our car and needed to cancel the remainder of the warranty she made my wife feel terrible and dodged her, very immature and no way to conduct oneself in business. After the car failed my wife and I decided to move onto another dealership and Donna's treatment afterward completely vindicated our decision and proved that we should never return again. I do wish Lincoln all the best because there are some really solid people on staff but my personal experience was disappointing. I don't wish to be mean, just honest. The test of a good company is how they perform in 'crisis' and while some of the time Lincoln scored big, other times there was something left wanting. read more
