Opted for rye toast (in lieu of pancakes) and a side of cottage cheese. Water to drink. Was asked if i wanted butter on the toast. After asking if they use butter or margarine, it was confirmed they use margarine. So toast was ordered dry and I would be required apply butter by opening the small "whipped butter" packets inborder to enjoy some buttered rye toast . The Omellette was ok taste-wise...but the entire time eating it my mind is questioning if I'm consuming eggs cooked in margarine? Then I'm thinking of the experiment where I placed an unwrapped stick of margarine on a dish in my garage for 2 weeks and observed that not an insect, rodent or any other living creature disturbed the lab born condiment...completely untouched orbdisturbed.. and thus I haven't poisoned my body with that garabage ever since...until possibly now??? Place was dirty with soot on the window sill at my booth. Bill comes and is over $20...highest price I've paid for that meal anywhere, which i order from various establishments a few times a week (including the 5 egg omellete establishments). Then I'm asked "cash or card?" Then informed that DEBIT card is another upcharge of $1.40, or so. The "how was everything" converstaion deserved a comment from me about the ridiculous price I'm paying for some eggs. The off-putting, I assume, owner steps in, then starts trying to justify the upcharges that resulted in a $26 omelette (by the time i threw in a $5.00 tip). This guy continued trying to convince me that he has the lowest prices and best quality...blah blah blah...trying do hard convince me his price chiseling way of doing business is justifiablr. Oh, well, could it be that I feel my arteries are clogging with margarine as i write this? Oh well..won't visiting this place again.

(Waitress let me get one cake and one toast) Read that again -- ONE POND of succulent ham off the bone. I always take away enough for another couple of sandwiches later. Makes this a very cost effective breakfast. Also, look at the pic of the tea service. TWO teabags, honey, FRESH lemon slices and enough hot water for 1.5 cups. I put both bags into the pot and it came out English Breakfast dark. A very proper cuppa. My server Kristine kept making helpful suggestions while I ordered and was very attentive during the entire meal. A true professional. I will be returning to try the entrees and sammies, but for breakfast I am sticking to this platter full of juicy ham n eggs.

The food was delicious across the board, and the biggest surprise was the German pretzel. We were not expecting it to be that huge, and it ended up being one of the highlights. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but for a once-in-a-while dinner, it felt justified. The quality really matched what we paid for. We tried the filet, lobster ravioli, Caesar salad, German pretzel, stuffed mushrooms, and the Diablo pasta, and everything was well-prepared and full of flavor. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish, and we'd absolutely come back.

Not familiar with this town at all and it didn't look like there was much in the area. But they have a gem of a restaurant here. I had the quesadillas and my wife had a shrimp salad. We also ordered the fry basket and they have different sauces you can get with it. Everything was really good. It was kinda tough to pick my meal because they had a lot of interesting choices on the menu. And the service was great! Very attentive and genuine. This is a nice place. If we're ever taking the train to Chicago again and need to grab a quick meal, we're coming here.

The bar has windows to show off the brewery behind the scenes. Our server was amazing. So nice & friendly. He even brought us a sample beer to taste while we were deciding. I ordered the stellar blue, my husband had the bleacher bum hazy IPA. They both were great! We got the huge hot pub pretzel with cheese dip. $16. It was good, but a little doughy. We still polished it off. Was great with the beers. I ordered fish & chips. It came with coleslaw. I was excited to try it because the menu said it had dried cherries. Unfortunately it was small & didn't have any cherries. It came with 3 big pieces of fish breaded perfectly. Amazing French fries. Lots of them. Definitely glad I was sharing. The menu was big & I can't wait to try more food & beer.

We ordered towards the top of the beer menu which was described to us as the lighter beers in color. As you make your way to the bottom of the draft beer menu, the beers get darker. Beers were refreshing and had a great taste. The Stellar Blue had a blueberry profile. The blueberry was not overwhelming and complemented the beer. I would've gave Shoreline a five star rating, but the Bavarian pretzel was expensive and underwhelming. It did not taste fully cooked. It was more doughy than I thought it should be. I loved the buttery taste of the Baramundi sandwich and the blackened flavor was on point. The fish and chips were on point also. I shared the fish and chips with my lunch date. The fish and chips were not the greasiest fish and chips I've had, but they did upset my stomach a little bit. Although I believe I am sensitive to greasy food. Server was friendly and helped us navigate the menu. We sat inside this time, but it looks like they have a great outdoor patio. If and when I go back, I'm going to avoid the pretzel, get the beer, and eat the Baramundi sandwich.
