One of my favorite dine-in Mexican restaurants in Vallejo. I've been here a few times and have always had a great experience. I've tried many items on the menu, but I really enjoy the burritos. Come hungry; they are large! The margaritas are good and large, too. The dining room is well kept, and the staff is always pleasant and attentive. I have been wanting to try this spot since they opened and last night we finally put an order in through a food delivery service. When I received my food I realized that it was not the correct order and immediately called the restaurant to see if there is a way that maybe my order hadn't gotten picked up and I could go ahead and just drive down and pick it up myself since I knew they were closing soon and may not accept another online order. The very kind gentleman who answered the phone explained that the delivery driver had picked up my food and something must've happened before it got delivered to me but that my food was no longer at the restaurant. I asked if it would be possible for them to remake the order and I come down to the restaurant and pay the restaurant directly and then deal with canceling the order through the food delivery app afterwards. He mentioned they were a little busy and were close to closing but would get it ready as quickly as they could - even repeating what had previously ordered to ensure I got the correct food. We rushed down to make it before they closed. Not only was the food ready within the 10 minutes it took us to get from our house to the restaurant but they were so kind and helpful and even offered us a discount on our order for the inconvenience of us having having to drive down. We happily collected our food and drove home and soon received a call from the restaurant letting me know that I had left my debit card there and they would have it for me to pick up the next morning when they opened at 10. While visiting a friend in Vallejo, we decided to satisfy our craving for Mexican food and ended up at Linda Patria. What a pleasant surprise. I ordered the fish tacos, and they were absolutely delicious. Even the salsa served with the chips stood out because it tasted incredibly fresh. The real showstopper, however, was the watermelon margarita. They literally cut a fresh watermelon and blended it to order. That alone deserves extra stars in my book. The service was excellent from start to finish, and we had no trouble finding parking despite the lot having only about ten spaces. The day we visited, they were playing '90s Latin pop classics from artists like Cristian Castro, Ricky Martin, and Fey, and I was loving every second of it. The restaurant has plenty of seating, a welcoming bar area, and a fun atmosphere that made us want to stay awhile. My friend and I left feeling like we had just discovered a new favorite Mexican restaurant, and we will definitely be back. read more

I ordered the steak and shrimp burrito this time through DoorDash and it did not disappoint. This burrito is absolutely massive and packed with flavor. The steak and shrimp were seasoned well and they didn't skimp on the fillings. I ordered it without beans yet it was still incredibly hefty and satisfying. We ordered 2 ground beef enchilada dinners for delivery. Bevause we had to pay extra for out of area delivery, with tip, taxes, and fees it was $91. Pros: The enchiladas were tasty, the salsa was the bomb - spicy like I like it, and even the chips were good. The refried beans and Spanish rice were good as well. Everything was fresh, and still reasonably warm. What could have been better? We ordered red sauce but received green, and there was very little meat in the enchiladas. I had an Uber delivery order. They forgot one item but had one of their employees drop it off at my house immediately! Now that is excellent customer service. The food is DELICIOUS! I haven't enjoyed just plain rice and beans in years. So you can imagine how good the rest of their food is. Quality ingredients and mouth watering entrees. Newish restaurant in town! Opened a few months ago, but randomly checked Yelp and stumbled upon it. I went for a lunch special where I got an enchilada, soft taco, beans and rice for less than $20. Service was fast and efficient. They had a wide range of food selections that I appreciate it. My enchilada was so flavorful and the meat wasn't dried out either. They did not skimp on the filling in which I know a lot of places do. This was hefty and you can notice how stuffed it was. My taco was simple, but I liked how the tortilla actually held up. No need for a double stack of tortilla. Decor is pretty similar to what the previous restaurant was before so it's more on the nicer dining side. I will be returning and can't wait to try out what else I can get my hands on. read more

I had high very expectations for this restaurant and they were met!! Our waitress Candy was perfect. The cucumber margarita was surprisingly so delicious! In fact, maybe one of the best margaritas I've ever had. The food was amazing!! Ingredients are fresh and cooked to perfection. The tortillas tasted like they'd just been made. Definitely worth the money. The ambience was clean, upbeat, and comfortable. It's appropriate for a date or a family. This was our first time visiting Linda Patria and we will most certainly be back! We used to be loyal to the other Mexican restaurant staples in Vallejo but they've recently gone downhill. Now that we found this restaurant we're relieved to have a new fave!!! read more

What a roller coaster experience. Jump straight to "service" for an explanation of the roller coaster.. Quality/Quantity - Complimentary Chips - Good. I actually like the slight "kick" on the sauce. Wet Burrito - This was HUGE! Hope you can tell from my pictures. Good flavors. I also liked the fact that they gave me hot sauce on the side so I/we can control how hot or not we wanted. See below service comments also. Super Burrito - My daughter also enjoyed it. We both took half our burritos home. Again, they were HUGE! Atmosphere - Small local business. Indoor and outdoor seating. Clean open kitchen Small private parking lot. The restrooms had an unusual smell... Paper towel dispenser did not work, but there was another small roll on the counter. Open 7 days a week from 9am or 10am to 8pm. Service - Drove into the private parking lot = Happy. Really appreciated safe and private parking lots to minimize auto break ins. Walked in and stood behind the "Please wait to be seated" sign and was greeted with a "WAIT." No please, nor I will be right with you... Okay, so we waited and waited. No big deal. Sat down as the 4th customer/party (4th table, approximately 10 people total in the restaurant) - Okay, maybe he just could not handle the 3-4 tables?!?! No problem... I watched as he was "running" around working hard. I felt a little better as I am understanding and compassionate. After ordering and getting our food, he flew by us 4 times and checked on us, thanks. Got us extra salsa for the chips, thanks. The food came out reasonably fast and of very good quality. Even gave me hot sauce on the side, thank you. Then the check came (and if you are following, I have had to resort to checking all my receipts as discrepancies happen now more often than not...). Sadly, I got overcharged $1. He tried to explain to me that I saw the wrong price on the menu, that there was extra cheese and... He then walked over to the menu and realized that the price on the menu was $15.99. Flipped a few pages over to show me the "Prices subject to change" sticker. Now I'm ready to just leave. If you would have just told me that my order was going to be $16.99 when I ordered, all of the above could have been avoided, and I would have still ordered what I wanted. But I do not appreciate the "bait and switch." Price - $35 + 15% tip. I did not want to "punish" the employee for the owner's pricing differences. Well I actually usually tip more than 15%, so maybe he could have handled our exit better. Owner Comment - Please invest the $$ on your menus to have the CORRECT prices. you guyssss i loved this place. they messed up my order and gave me green instead of red but it worked out great because we got to try one red chilaquiles and one green. they were both soooo good. the salsa had a bit of spice but wasn't overwhelming. the eggs were seriously cooked so perfectly. the rice had great flavor and wasn't too dry. the beans were also really good. the meat was so great. i love carnitas and it was delicious from here. everything was so good. the horchata was homemade and not from a packet which is always the best sign. the food is never good when the horchata isn't homemade. read more

We have a lot of really good Mexican restaurants in town, but Linda Patria is edging out all of the others. I've had their beef fajitas, which is a dish I never order, and they were surprisingly delicious. My favorite is their machaca con huevo for breakfast. The machaca is a little juicier than most and their beans and rice are both tasty. They ALSO make their own corn tortillas, and I highly suggest slathering a little butter on them. Basically, order anything that comes with tortillas and you will be really happy. YUM! Service is always excellent. Chips are fresh. Interior is nice. Parking in their own small lot. read more

We tried this restaurant for the first time on Friday night. The host greeted us at the door and seated us right away. The restaurant was very clean and had a pretty flower arrangement of Easter Lillie's and had some bunny decorations. They brought us a big basket of chips and salsa as soon as we were seated. The salsa was flavorful but not too spicy and the chips were warm and fresh. I tried the shrimp enchiladas with the green sauce with rice and beans. They were full of shrimp and wad more than I could eat. My husband had the super burrito and it was so big that he couldn't finish it either. They have different degree of spiciness on their salsas so that you can have mild like I like or extra spicy like he likes. I would recommend you try them out if tou haven't. I met a friend for lunch and it was truly the worst local dining out experience I have ever had. I asked for no jalapeños on my nachos and they gave it to me anyway...not that big of a deal, right? But then later on, the waiter came by the table and said "are you happy now? your face looks better".... and I said, how do you know that wasn't my "resting face" or the fact that you got my order wrong and gave me jalapeños anyway? And he said it was because that was just how I looked when I got there and implied that it didn't have anything to do with the fact that my order was messed up. And THEN when I got up to pay, the menu said it was $11.99 but I was charged $17.99 and when I asked him, he said those prices in the menu weren't accurate and said, dismissively "everything's gone up.." I said well it would've been good to let patrons know in advance..... but he just kept brushing it off saying 1) they are getting new menus and 2) everything's gone up and 3) it's the owner implying 4)he just works there ~ so I paid the bill and didn't tip him It was my worst experience ever But.... A few friends and I came here on our way back down to SF and we found this charming little place. We came around lunch time and there were a few tables with customers and we were immediately seated. The server was fantastic, he was attentive and suggested great dishes. I like shrimp tacos already but these were on another level. Whatever sauce they put, WOW. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Stopped in for a late lunch. I was greeted warmly and given a menu. I was too late for the lunch specials so I had to pay 2$ more. Not a problem. I ordered a combo with carnitas enchilada and a chile relleno. It came with very delicious refried beans and rice. The enchilada was fat with carnitas and really good red sauce. The chile relleno was so good. Cheesy and good battered chile. The chips and salsa that were served when I sat down were fresh and the salsa had a nice bite. Why have I waited so long to try them? This place was another business and now its a Mexican restaurant so we thought we would try it out. It's not a big place and the parking is limited. They sat us down right away so that was good as it was pretty busy. Our waitress came pretty quick and took our drink orders which was a coffee and a mimosa along with waters. My mimosa was yummy and it was a nice poor. I don't drink coffee but apparently it was tasty and free refills. We ordered the Chilaquiles Verde with Chorizo and the Huevos A LA Mexicana. The Chilaquiles was the best I've ever had, the Verde sauce was delicious, tortilla chips cooked perfect, eggs over easy was perfect, and of course the Chorizo was cooked perfect and tasty. The Huevos A LA Mexicana was very tasty as well. Both dishes were huge and we had to go boxes. Was too full for dessert. Looking at some of the other dishes people were ordering looked good and big dishes to eat. The service was great, she always came by checking on us and I believe the manager/owner also came by to check to see if we were okay or needed anything. Awesome. We came here for a lunch with a party of six people. I do wish that they had a website so you could browse the menu before going there. For now you have to look at the photos of menus online. There's a small designated parking lot. The interior is decorated beautifully. The complimentary salsa comes in two heats. The white bowl is much spicier than the black bowl. Both have a kick. If you can't handle spicy please skip it. They have a lunch special section with many options. This day I chose to get a lengua burrito. These burritos are thick! I was only able to finish about half of it. So it's a good value. It was also tasty! I added a bit of salsa for the chips to the burrito to give it an extra kick. Even after reading the great reviews I was still apprehensive about this place. Being a lover of Mexican food, I can be quite particular about my south of the border eateries. As I entered the restaurant I quickly realized not much of the decor had changed from the previous steakhouse restaurant that was in the same location. The staff were friendly and I was quickly seated. I wasn't a fan of the chips that were brought to the table, but the salsa was tasty and flavorful. I ordered the two enchilada lunch special.
