Came here for taco Tuesday last week and according to their website, shots are $5 and margaritas are $7 yet I still got charged full price for everything and for one of the drinks, they gave us a completely different one than the one we asked for. The bartender said the discounts start at 3pm but after looking on their website, there is no start time mentioned at all for taco Tuesday discounts. It's happy hour that starts at 3pm and that's under a completely different tab. I've been passing by Los Moles for years and never stopped in until we had a graduation dinner there for my niece. The main reason I never went before was the parking situation, which honestly can be a little challenging, but for this visit we found parking down the block and around the corner. The short walk after dinner ended up being nice anyway. We had reservations, although we did wait about 15 extra minutes while another party finished their meal. My family member pointed out they were enjoying drinks, so that probably added some time. The waiter was very friendly, attentive, and clearly trying to get us seated as quickly as possible. Water was brought to the table right away, and our drink order was taken promptly. I ordered the chicken salad and was pleasantly surprised to learn the mango vinaigrette dressing did not contain oils, since I personally avoid seed oils. The salad was fresh and delicious. Some of my family members ordered the buffet, which looked incredible. At first it seemed like too much food for me that day, but once I saw everything included, I started thinking maybe I should have ordered it too since it was only about seven dollars more. They brought complimentary chips, guacamole, and salsa to the table, and everything was so flavorful. The guacamole was especially delicious, and they happily refilled the chips several times. I finally understood why the restaurant is called "Los Moles" because their mole sauces are outstanding. I got to try some from my son's plate, and it definitely made me want to come back and explore more of the different mole options. They also offer vegetarian choices, which is great. Although I am very particular about cooking surfaces, my food is cooked on and in, the Mexican coffee which was heated in some type of who knows what metal, had a good flavor. It inspired me to re-create it at home. Another standout for me was the freshly made corn tortillas served with the meals. They were soft, warm, and incredibly good. All the plates look great, from birria tacos, burritos, enchiladas with mole sauce, and fajitas. They served chicken, shredded beef, carnitas, and carne asada. I had the enchiladas with mole sauce. With grilled beef. Originally did not want to eat here considering the prices were a little high. However, after taking the first bite, I knew I was paying for flavor and fresh ingredients. The tacos are small, but with the rice and beans on the side, it fills you up quite nicely. The enmoladas: mango mole, was what my mom ordered. Originally we wanted the arroz verde, but they sold out. The flavor was nice and they do not skimp on the meat inside. Every bite is a fork full of meat. And we ordered the chicken so the seasoning was just right. After walking around IKEA for hours, this was a nice spot to relax and satisfy our hunger. Went here for AYCE Taco Tuesday and it was a pleasant experience. Surprisingly, there wasn't that long of a wait at around 7 PM. The price of an AYCE taco is very worth it. Some may say that the tacos are a bit bland/not the best they've had, BUT the price you're paying for unlimited, decent tacos?? WORTH. Then he took it and put extra lemon juice in my drink. Make it super sour and complete destroy the taste of my drink. I would recommend there all you can eat brunch only on Saturday's. My friend Kim said we have to go and try this place so we did. The options were fantastic and delicious. I am Mexican-American and I love Mexican food. The choices were so good I ended with a taster's plate of special dishes I like. They also had menudo and pozole but I was so focused on the moles and was not disappointed. They also had side dishes of rice and beans. Carnitas were also available. After two plates, I went back for some fruit to finish off the lunch and I was ready for my nap. I would definitely go back for the $25 cost per person for all you can eat. You will want to try all of the fantastically tasty moles on your first outing, but you really have to pace yourself. Try 3 or 4 at the most. And then plan to return to try more. Each and every one is really great. Get there during happy hour for added music and drink deals. And get the buffet so you can try a selection of moles, with hand made tortillas and other sides. Sure, even though I had my ring stolen from the bathroom when I took it off to wash my hands, I still give Los Moles 5 stars. Their buffet is the best, fresh tortillas and keep those cafe de ollas coming!
