I used to love this place but the last few times I went have me wondering if I should return. The talapia was fried so hard as if recooked. literally a "Hole-in-the-wall" restaurant, but this place is a "hidden treasure!". I stop by sometimes on the way to Louisiana, just so I can have some delicious fried shrimp on the road. They also served fried rice here, which is a plus! they have fresh fish and you can ask them to fry it for you. I sometimes call ahead and wait a little, but it is a BUSY restaurant. Its busy because people keep coming back, never a bad sign! some places around the area are pretty expensive, so seafood for half the price of other restaurants works for me! read more

This place has just become my go-to spot, for fried fish and shrimps!!!!! I intended to take pictures of my food, but after my first bite, I couldn't stop eating!! lol I also had the shrimp fried rice, and let me say that while looking at the pictures before I made my order, I wasn't impressed with how the shrimp fried rice looked. So I intended to order the chicken fried rice, but they were out of it. So I decided to try the shrimp fried rice. I assure you, the pictures that people posted, DO IT NO JUSTICE!!!!!! It was delicious!!!!!! Also, don't let the reviews about it being in a sketchy part of town scare you away. The area is perfectly fine. It's in an industrial area and surrounded by warehouses, and pipe yards. I will say this, if you're the type of person that needs a place to look pristine, for you to eat there, then this isn't the place for you. I got the Large shrimp fried rice and was skimpy on the shrimp. Plus I called ahead but still had to wait in the line for 45 minutes. My friend got fried shrimp and it was good and all other fried food looked good that is why I'm giving it a 3 star not 2. Need another register or better system of getting out orders. read more

Started coming here every Friday after hearing a few friends talk about, and haven't been disappointed yet. Fish is great, beading on it is good without being heavy. Love the fried rice. Doesn't look appealing when you drive up but don't let that fool you cause the food is great. read more
