Food was mid ,I ordered 2x grilled fish with shrimp and was highly disappointed! The cashier told me the fish was catfish but when I got my food it was tilapia! When I took it back and told her what I had she responded with an attitude saying she charged me for fish as if I didn't know that already.then insisted that she didn't charge me for tilapia! I've had grilled catfish and that definitely wasn't it ! Not to mention the rice was cold and taste like it had been sitting out ! Charging $17 for tilapia and calling it catfish should be a crime ! Walked in and order through tablet, food came out pretty quick to not being busy and I dined in and I got one container for the shrimp of 20 and it was pretty small so I made sure when I was getting my food from the counter to ask if it was a 20ct of shrimp and she informed me that it was just to find out it was only 10. I ended up getting my other half. The food was good 7/10. The staff behind the counter 0/10 with attitude when they aren't even doing any work. So, much like the Vietnamese Noodle House that's a couple doors down, I'd completely ignored Dan's because of the awkward entrance/exit into the parking lot and the fact that this shopping center is pretty run down and dead, but like the noodle house, I completely regret not coming here sooner! I'd heard mixed reviews from family and friends but decided to give them a try and was pleasantly surprised! Unlike a lot of places in this shopping center, Dan's is surprisingly clean and well kept. The workers were friendly and helpful and my order didn't take long at all to prepare. I love shrimp po-boys and was excited to give theirs a try. At first, I was a little disappointed by the amount of shrimp that was on the sandwich, but when I actually tasted it, it was completely worth the lack of shrimp. I'm comfortable with saying that outside of New Orleans, this po-boy rates pretty good with me. I'm looking forward to coming back and giving Dan's another chance with a different entree. read more

I was helped by someone of the name Veronica & she was very passive aggressive and unwelcoming, I wont be coming back .

We ordered 5lbs of crawfish and a pound of shrimp. In all the years I've eaten crawfish I have never came across a bug in our mix. When we took it back upfront the lady tried to tell us it that it was in the sack with the mud bugs which means they don't clean them properly and the taste was more like a fishy taste. The potatoes tasted like they were spoiled when potatoes go soft from sitting out too long. We definitely will not return there for food. read more

They have really good food and flavors! The medium spicy is still pretty spicy, but it was good. I liked that the boil already came with corn. The building that they're in does need some work to be updated. There's a lot of water spots on the ceiling. But that is no fault of the owners, rather the people who own the building they are in, unless they are the same. The service was great and they were very friendly and helpful. Food tastes great! But my takeout chicken came with a container full of grease or butter, I'm not sure which. Either way, that was a huge turnoff. What ever my chicken was swimming in, it certainly didnt take away from the flavor. The wings were nice-sized, meaty, hot, and perfectly seasoned. Service is good and my wait time was decent. Mann this place used to be the bomb. Went there a few weeks ago and it's just not the same as it used to be. The flavor is not there like it used to be. The crab legs used to come with a corn and potato but they no longer do. I ordered a corn on the side just to one out dry and over cooked. The shrimps are now hard to peel like the skin is just mushed into them. They no longer give out crab openers so you just end up a mess trying to open them. And what completely killed it .. it was hot as heck in there many people were walking out because it just was not it with this Texas heat. Ok so when I got home and opened my food I didn't see much seasoning like normal seafood boils have but man oh man let me tell you it didn't even need it. They crabs and shrimps were delicious.
