He has a background in sports medicine and is great to work with if you have medical issues or have a concern about injury. I'm getting more results here than I've had with anywhere else. Parking is much better than the Amityville location, and the staff are all great here…read more The floor space feels a little tight compared to some of the other locations, but they have a few sets of cross cable machines ( I think 3) and it is always kept extremely clean. Spin class room is a little small, however the bikes are always well maintained, and the music is always at a tolerable level. ( I have had an issue with this at my home location the manager there was unwilling to address) There could be more lockers since a couple of the locks are faulty, but asides that a great Crunch location. Keep in mind that there are other students in the class, but he notices every detail about his students, the breath we take per move/reps (even with masks on), 2) PROFESSIONAL & COMMUNICATIVE - With his keen observation skills, he's quick to correct posture or can tell if we've trained before (I say he's psychic), he also has the ability to tell how we carry our backpacks/or handbags and if they are heavy or not, he will know based on our posture if we are the type who have sedimentary jobs or not and advises on how to autocorrect form. I do value the fact as we work out, he tells us where we should be feeling the burn and why and which part of the body we are working. 3) FRIENDLY & WARM/INTERPERSONAL SKILLS - he doesn't intimidate and he can easily make quick connections to build rapport and trust so as we are working out, he empowers us with confidence we need to push ourselves. He intuitively knows our personal limit as to when we need to be pushed hard and when we need to slow it down. F45 PLAINVIEW 1) I've been to many gyms and worked out with many trainers, but i do enjoy the F45 concept, 45 minutes your in and your out with a sweat. This is a great concept for those individuals who lack discipline in a gym environment. 2) Days are scheduled based on what the functional exercises and which area of the body you will be working (core, upper, lower, cardio, etc). 3) The camaraderie you gain when you attend. I only attended 2 sessions and the members welcomed me with open arms and thumbs up support in a few of the exercises I failed at. We all have a common objective in mind and its just getting through the 45 minutes is where we bond at... then its a great feeling when you see them again the very next day. F45 helped me through my first pregnancy and I was able to modify when needed to perform safe and functional exercises. Definitely highly recommend F45 Farmingdale. Class was filled. 12 stations of exercises, 3 rounds of 35 seconds at each station. I barely broke a sweat. Definitely not for me. I understand that not all gyms are for everyone. What i disliked most was that this gym was not welcoming at all for a new member. All the stations had 3 people at each one. I had no place to start. The trainer knew it was my first time and pretty much ignored that I was like a fish out of water. Hard pass.

The worst experience with the manager - I called during COVID to see what their procedure would be…read moreduring those times with membership didn't get a reply till 5 months later- which was fine - however, at the time I couldn't go back to the establishment and I explained that to the manager and she said not her problem and I needed a doctors note- I couldn't get to my doctors I had no insurance at this point and orange theory kept billing me. The manager couldn't of been nastier than she was! I have as finally able to see my doctor - the manager was Not helpful at All!!!! Cancelled membership. Do not recommend this location .
