Car repair is a difficult business to make people happy. However I think everyone has basic expectations when having their car repaired. Communication here is not the greatest and at least 1 of the mechanics is not highly experienced or just doesn't care about the quality of the repairs. I have used this shop several times and I am done using them in the future. They have some fundamental issues that need to be corrected. read more

I took my car here right before Christmas because I had an oil leak. It did not take them long to diagnose the issue which was a bad gasket. They replaced the gasket and all of the spark plugs and had me on my way. Two weeks later I noticed it was once again leaking oil in the same exact place. So I took it back hoping maybe it was a loose gasket cover or the gasket was not put in properly. They then determine that the gasket cover was cracked and would need to be replaced. Why wasn't this noticed on the first go around when the gasket was replaced, or could it have possibly been cracked when it was put back together. I was also informed that I needed new front tires and brakes, which I was fine with because that is normal wear on a vehicle. When I picked the car up I immediately noticed the check engine light was on because when I dropped it off it was not on. They hooked the scanner up to it and it said a sensor was bad on the engine. Open the hood and one of the sensors on the top of the engine was completely unplugged and hanging there. The next day on my way to work I notice that when I get above 40 mph the front drivers tire seems to have a hop to it. I notice that there is no lead on the rim, as if the tire was not balanced at all. I drop it off at a discount tire at work and then balance the tire and have it done in ten minutes saying that the tire was not balanced at all but its all set now. I try my hardest to give to small businesses rather then the big corporate auto shops but how can you if this is the outcome. At what point does a little bit more time and effort need to be put into fixing something that someone else depends on. when I picked the car up I also talked to an employee there that said he does not want to learn how to use the computers because he does not want to explain to customers what is wrong with their vehicles because they just are not smart enough to understand. I think the owner needs to re-evaluate who he has working for him. The owner is a extremely nice guy so at least he has that going for him. I hope they can fix their issues. read more

**UPDATE 6/25/18** Linden's Complete Auto contacted us and has made it right. Changing my review to a 4 star. The owner, Mike, explained his situation and has earned our continued loyalty. I'm very disappointed and sad to have to leave this review. My family has been doing regular business with Linden's Complete Auto Repair for over 15 years. I have tried to contact the owner for over a month. Mike hasn't returned my calls or replied to the Better Business Bureau. On May 2, 2018 for a routine oil change and tire rotation Mark had one of his technicians try unsuccessfully, for 4 hours, to get my lugnut lock off without the key because they said the key was stripped. This damaged my rim beyond repair as the dealership had to heat it to extreme temperatures to remove the lock making it unsafe to drive. If Mark would have simply admitted they made a mistake by stripping the lock and couldn't rotate the tires it wouldn't have cost me $1659 for a new rim and locks. Linden's Complete Auto has lost my business. Not only was this poor management with the decision to damage my rim but the lack of response from the company is simply unprofessional. read more

I came in to have the front struts replaced (age), (suspension was squeaking) and also had a clicking sound in the steering. The manager stated that I needed another part also besides the struts. Total cost $2,000. When I picked up the SUV He stated no more squeaks or clicking noises. I live less than a mile from this shop, before I could get home both the squeak and clicking noise were back. 2 minutes on Youtube later and I found that the noises were coming from ball joints and CV joints... Common on my age and style SUV. I will never go back to this shop and please never contact me again. I am also referring this matter to the state of Michigan. read more

Have to say I was very dissapointed in my experience at Linden's Complete Auto Repair. We took our car in to have an oil changed while we took our dog next door for her annual vet exam. Dropped the car off at 11:15am. Our vet appoint went a little long so didn't come back to pick up our car until about 12:45. At this time we found out that they did not stock our oil filter and they are waiting for the filter to arrive, and it should be there within 15 minutes. At about 1:45 we started to get real frustrated as it shouldn't take 2.5 hours to get our oil changed for a standard Nissan Rouge. We asked them to replace the filter with the same one as we had to leave due to prior engagements. So we left with 1/2 of an oil change. The reason I am giving one star is because they were nice enough to not charge us for the inconvience, though only the guy who pulled our car of the garage apologized. Very poor service and communication if you ask me. Will not be going back. read more

Have had our cars serviced here a few times. Overall, their customer service is good - even offering to take us home since the car was going to require a few hours of work. It doesn't feel like that they're always finding new problems but it does seem overpriced. With only muffler man as its only competition, they can get away with this. Good luck trying to get a same day oil change, usually you'll need to make an appointment. read more

I've taken several vehicles to the Linden Garage since they opened. I used to do frame-up restorations when I had a large barn and most work on my own vehicles. But with the advent of electronics on new vehicles, I gave up doing anything but the most menial task. Unlike 99.999% of places that do this work, they DO NOT take advantage, embellish or lie about what is wrong or what needs to be done to fix my vehicles. Recently dropped off a Trailblazer, and after checking it completely out, received a call that I could pick it up. Was informed of several things that would need attention in the future, but assured nothing was imminent or a safety hazard. When I asked what I owed, I was told 'nothing of course, we just evaluated it for you'. Every other place I've gone to would of probably given me a list of things that HAD to be done now. I took my car in for a right wheel barring replacement and a flange replacement on my muffler. They said it would be done by Monday, they called on Monday and said it would be done Tuesday. My biggest complaint is, they quoted me one price and then when I picked up my car, they overcharged me from what I was quoted and never bothered to contact me to tell me it was going to be more money. I am very disappointed and will not be returning. The least they could have done was charged me for the quote price. What a Rip Off! read more
