Be careful when ordering here. We ordered directly from the menu, but the prices we were charged were different from what was listed. When we questioned it, the lady was rude instead of helping clarify the issue. They were also very stingy with the salsa for the tacos, which was disappointing. To make matters worse, she acted upset that we didn't know there were different types of tacos and even ripped the receipt in front of us. Overall, the customer service experience felt very unprofessional and uncomfortable.

This was our first time at this establishment; we ordered the Menudo and Huevos Rancheros, a Mexican Coke, and Horchata. The food was good and the customer service was great. The interior has plenty of tables to sit down and enjoy your meal.

After scrolling I found a couple of IE food influencers who highlighted this place. Close to home so why not try it? . The staff was very friendly. The plates priced reasonably and satisfying Clean nice place and authentic Spanish backdrop music which I love. I ordered the huevos ranchero's and the red sauce was very tasty. Good flavor. My husband ordered the Chile verde chilequilles. He said chile was also flavorful. Rice and beans on point. A plus for me was the cafe de olla. Yum! We'll be coming back.

Took my mother out for lunch to this place - next to the gas station- AMPM - looked kinda sketchy but it is totally adjacent with its own door and parking spaces on the side - looks like they have a lot of regulars that lunch there - staff is super friendly and welcoming - big TVs for small seating space which could be nice for games or music videos - food is as authentic as Mexican home cooked meals get! This is the spot for breakfast- lunch- and dinner! Their agua fresca game is on point! Hot coffee for Mom was on point! Hot sauce and chips to snack on point! We got combo fajitas with side of rice and beans and some tacos on the side! Everything made with holy woman hands for sure!! Please go eat there now!

    Giant size burritos! Great value

Best service and food I've had all year!!! Highly recommend. I wish I lived closer, but when I'm in town, I'll make sure to stop. Their portions don't get 'shrink flated.' Delish!

Came to have lunch after taking our dog to the vet and it was a great lunch. I had an horchata and torta de asada. I noticed many people getting the pozole which looked good on a rainy day. It is self seating and connected to a gas station for restrooms. The location has about 8 or so tables ranging from 2-4 seats per table. The service was great, the chips and salsa were refilled so quickly. Prices are decent. My husband got a burrito and a taco de chicharron- he thought it was going ti be crispy chicharron but it was covered in a sauce, he wasn't a fan but said the flavor was okay- just did not like the texture.

Came here for the first time for breakfast on a Friday morning. This place is located right next to the gas station. When I got there around 8:30 am, they were pretty busy already. I tried their fish and shrimp soup, and their taco with pork. They told me the fish soup will take about 15 mins to prep and I'm okay with it since I saw a lot of good reviews with their fish soup. The soup tasted awesome! Shrimps and catfish were so fresh and it was a reasonable portion! However , their taco with pork was not to my expectation. Not bad, but just not as juicy as I thought it would be. I'll come back to try their other food on their menus! Their prices are quite reasonable!

Phenomenal Service and good, outstanding hospitality and delicious and wide variety of food And environment. Can't wait to come back

Good question, I highly doubt it. I believe the shop is owned and operated by the chef and his kids

When we arrived, there was live music playing, the restaurant was packed with customers, and the atmosphere felt lively and welcoming. We waited about 15 minutes before being seated, which wasn't bad considering how busy they were. To start, we ordered drinks. Since a few of us planned on having beers, we asked our waitress if ordering a bucket of beer would be cheaper than ordering them individually, and she said yes. However, after doing the math later, we realized it actually came out to the same price as ordering single beers. Not a huge deal, but something worth noting. My wife ordered a piña colada, which was absolutely delicious and definitely had a nice kick to it. I also tried the mango margarita, which was refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for the warm weather. For my meal, I ordered the Surf and Turf Burrito Mojado, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The flavors were spot on, and it's definitely something I would order again on a future visit. My wife ordered the Tacos Gobernador, which were both tasty and filling. I also got to try some of the ceviche that my family members ordered, and it was incredibly fresh and delicious as well. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back whenever we're in the area. The live mariachi music made the experience even more enjoyable, the food was excellent, and the service was friendly throughout our visit. Highly recommended!

Our bartender was very nice and made an excellent Paloma. Never once did my wife and I feel like we weren't being taken care of. Very attentive staff. It is a bit pricey though, two drinks and two shots was $80 so an average of $20 a drink, it doesn't make it my first choice to have a drink.

Yesterday I had one of their seafood salads, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and you could tell it was made with care. This is one of those places that really needs your Yelp help. It is located in an eclectic…read moreneighborhood, a very rural area called Mira Loma, but on a well-known, main thoroughfare. Google Maps turns you into a dusty asphalt driveway where, in the front is one stucco building that might have been someone's house at one time, and in the back is one very worn, almost sleazy, one-story building where three tiny Mom & Pop businesses compete for space. There is nothing fancy to see here, with the exception of the tiny, covered patio at the entry and a claustrophobic ordering counter on the other side of a sliding glass door. The patio walls are lined with bamboo, a couple taxidermied blue marlin, and some seaside-themed, tropical decor. There are maybe 4 tables and a cluster of chairs. I imagine, in the heat of the summer, it gets pretty hot and uncomfortable in here. And yet, reading the food reviews will make your heart go pitter-patter. Their specialty is mariscos with a Baja spin. Ceviche, shrimp cocktails, fish soup, fish tacos and burritos, to name a few. They also have swordfish and salmon on their menu. We came for the fish tacos and were we in store for a surprise! The chunk of fried fish in each taco was as big as a huge chicken tender. Our tacos were filled with moist, great tasting white fish (not tilapia)! The tortillas, hence, had to be the larger size, not street taco sized. The batter was crispy and exceptional, with a light, herbal flavor. The finishing touch was a pile of toppings, including shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, finely chopped cucumber, and an insanely delicious white crema-mayo sauce. I think the unexpected cucumber added a unique, refreshing element to an already excellent taco. The only downfall was that the corn tortilla fell apart before I could get it into my mouth. Heh, I can live with that...just give me a fork. If you thought the price of 1 taco ($4.50) was too expensive, you are wrong. One taco here is the equivalent of two tacos elsewhere. That's a great deal! This is not fast food. The fish is cooked to order. Plan on a wait. Although this is essentially a covered, outdoor dining enclosure with a dutch door style gate, please note. Pets are not allowed. There is no pet-friendly section, nor shady areas to park in their bleak parking lot. The irony of this was the number of off-leash dogs we saw wandering around the parking lot. We saw three small to medium sized dogs, and no owner. We ended up bringing our food and personna-non-grata pup home. They did a nice job with the fish tacos, and one of their customers assured me the fried and/or grilled shrimp tacos and mojo de ajo shrimp were excellent. This means only one thing...we shall return, but without the chihuahua fur baby.
