    Chilaquiles with guisado- tinga
    Joeanna P.

Just went today, I was craving chilaquiles and the ones on here looked good. I asked the chilaquiles with guisado, the guisado was lomo saltado but it came with chicken tinga instead. The chilaquiles themselves are good and the rice, beans and queso were perfect! My husband got the chilaquiles with carne asada, his came with a scrambled egg. The egg was cooked perfectly and soft. The inside has many tables as well as two outside, there was music playing and the agua Fresca de mango was delicious. I would definitely go back to be able to try the machete with chicharron.

My BF and I went to this little hidden gem located inside the Rio Rancho Mall (indoor swap meet) in Pomona this past Monday and OMG the food was just delicious! The Torta that we got was massive, it was big enough for both of us. The service also exceeded our expectations, the gentleman who served us was very attentive and friendly. The pricing on their items were also very reasonable considering everything has gone up. I highly recommend this place, be sure to come really hungry! Might I also add, regarding the reviews on here being removed by Yelp due to not receiving monetary compensation from the business for the reviews posted on here....SHAME ON YOU YELP!!!! That is just low and not to mention a poor business practice!

Great service, the owner was there engaging with customers and spoke to us about his vision for the future of this restaurant. Amazing food with great portions for an insanely reasonable price. Overall this is a chill place to grab a bite. I can't recommend it enough

When we arrived, there was live music playing, the restaurant was packed with customers, and the atmosphere felt lively and welcoming. We waited about 15 minutes before being seated, which wasn't bad considering how busy they were. To start, we ordered drinks. Since a few of us planned on having beers, we asked our waitress if ordering a bucket of beer would be cheaper than ordering them individually, and she said yes. However, after doing the math later, we realized it actually came out to the same price as ordering single beers. Not a huge deal, but something worth noting. My wife ordered a piña colada, which was absolutely delicious and definitely had a nice kick to it. I also tried the mango margarita, which was refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for the warm weather. For my meal, I ordered the Surf and Turf Burrito Mojado, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The flavors were spot on, and it's definitely something I would order again on a future visit. My wife ordered the Tacos Gobernador, which were both tasty and filling. I also got to try some of the ceviche that my family members ordered, and it was incredibly fresh and delicious as well. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back whenever we're in the area. The live mariachi music made the experience even more enjoyable, the food was excellent, and the service was friendly throughout our visit. Highly recommended!

Our bartender was very nice and made an excellent Paloma. Never once did my wife and I feel like we weren't being taken care of. Very attentive staff. It is a bit pricey though, two drinks and two shots was $80 so an average of $20 a drink, it doesn't make it my first choice to have a drink.

Yesterday I had one of their seafood salads, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and you could tell it was made with care. I'll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu!

This is one of those places that really needs your Yelp help. It is located in an eclectic…read moreneighborhood, a very rural area called Mira Loma, but on a well-known, main thoroughfare. Google Maps turns you into a dusty asphalt driveway where, in the front is one stucco building that might have been someone's house at one time, and in the back is one very worn, almost sleazy, one-story building where three tiny Mom & Pop businesses compete for space. There is nothing fancy to see here, with the exception of the tiny, covered patio at the entry and a claustrophobic ordering counter on the other side of a sliding glass door. The patio walls are lined with bamboo, a couple taxidermied blue marlin, and some seaside-themed, tropical decor. There are maybe 4 tables and a cluster of chairs. I imagine, in the heat of the summer, it gets pretty hot and uncomfortable in here. And yet, reading the food reviews will make your heart go pitter-patter. Their specialty is mariscos with a Baja spin. Ceviche, shrimp cocktails, fish soup, fish tacos and burritos, to name a few. They also have swordfish and salmon on their menu. We came for the fish tacos and were we in store for a surprise! The chunk of fried fish in each taco was as big as a huge chicken tender. Our tacos were filled with moist, great tasting white fish (not tilapia)! The tortillas, hence, had to be the larger size, not street taco sized. The batter was crispy and exceptional, with a light, herbal flavor. The finishing touch was a pile of toppings, including shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, finely chopped cucumber, and an insanely delicious white crema-mayo sauce. I think the unexpected cucumber added a unique, refreshing element to an already excellent taco. The only downfall was that the corn tortilla fell apart before I could get it into my mouth. Heh, I can live with that...just give me a fork. If you thought the price of 1 taco ($4.50) was too expensive, you are wrong. One taco here is the equivalent of two tacos elsewhere. That's a great deal! This is not fast food. The fish is cooked to order. Plan on a wait. Although this is essentially a covered, outdoor dining enclosure with a dutch door style gate, please note. Pets are not allowed. There is no pet-friendly section, nor shady areas to park in their bleak parking lot. The irony of this was the number of off-leash dogs we saw wandering around the parking lot. We saw three small to medium sized dogs, and no owner. We ended up bringing our food and personna-non-grata pup home. They did a nice job with the fish tacos, and one of their customers assured me the fried and/or grilled shrimp tacos and mojo de ajo shrimp were excellent. This means only one thing...we shall return, but without the chihuahua fur baby.
