First time here I ordered the Menudo and it was really good! They offer various styles that I like with the pata and granos. My husband ordered a carne asada breakfast burrito... it was so big. He only ate half but he enjoyed it. The best part was the Cafe de olla... just like my grandmother used to make in Mexico!

Hidden gem! We had plans to go to another nearby spot, but the cops had an investigation in the parking lot, so they closed for the day. I found this place 3 miles away. And I'm so glad! I ordered a wet cabesa burrito as she recommended it since they did not have lengua at the time. Oh heavenly. The meat fell apart and was so rich and flavorful. The sauce was delicious. Beans and rice were cooked perfectly. It was amazing. Wife got the menudo. If you want hominy or pigs feet, you have to pay a little more. We assumed it just meant extra. But we know now for next time. The tripe was sooo savory and also melted in your mouth. Good stuff. Service was super great. Ambience is nice. Styling had us feeling like we were out of state.

Came for breakfast with my boyfriend after our hike saw the great reviews and we spot. We had the menudo and the red chilaquiles with carne asada. Café de olla delicious. Service was excellent.

We wanted authentic Mexican food to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and we got just that at Antonio's Tierra Caliente. The service was great, thank you Ana for your recommendations. We had the chilaquiles with carnitas and machaca. Great food!

It looks like a typical taco joint from the outside but it's a super authentic "sit down" restaurant. You could sweat you were in northern Mexico the second you walk in. Great food, good table service. Try the cucumber like me drink -so good! I was in a hurry so I went with the carne asada taco and a carnitas taco. The meats were perfect, the hand made fresh tortillas were spot on. The only thing that may need a little attention was the salsa. It was too tomato-e and watery for me but no biggie. I will most certainly be back.

This place is disgusting I took a bite and immediately threw it up so much grease Had no flavor all you tasted was the oil

The restaurant was a nice, small, mom and pop restaurant. The waitress was very nice and quick with her service. I had the bistec ranchero, which came with a great sauce for taste but was a little too salty and steak was dry for my taste. If it was cooked less and more tender then I think that it would've been better.

When we arrived, there was live music playing, the restaurant was packed with customers, and the atmosphere felt lively and welcoming. We waited about 15 minutes before being seated, which wasn't bad considering how busy they were. To start, we ordered drinks. Since a few of us planned on having beers, we asked our waitress if ordering a bucket of beer would be cheaper than ordering them individually, and she said yes. However, after doing the math later, we realized it actually came out to the same price as ordering single beers. Not a huge deal, but something worth noting. My wife ordered a piña colada, which was absolutely delicious and definitely had a nice kick to it. I also tried the mango margarita, which was refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for the warm weather. For my meal, I ordered the Surf and Turf Burrito Mojado, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The flavors were spot on, and it's definitely something I would order again on a future visit. My wife ordered the Tacos Gobernador, which were both tasty and filling. I also got to try some of the ceviche that my family members ordered, and it was incredibly fresh and delicious as well. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back whenever we're in the area. The live mariachi music made the experience even more enjoyable, the food was excellent, and the service was friendly throughout our visit. Highly recommended!

Yesterday I had one of their seafood salads, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and you could tell it was made with care. I'll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu!

This is one of those places that really needs your Yelp help. It is located in an eclectic…read moreneighborhood, a very rural area called Mira Loma, but on a well-known, main thoroughfare. Google Maps turns you into a dusty asphalt driveway where, in the front is one stucco building that might have been someone's house at one time, and in the back is one very worn, almost sleazy, one-story building where three tiny Mom & Pop businesses compete for space. There is nothing fancy to see here, with the exception of the tiny, covered patio at the entry and a claustrophobic ordering counter on the other side of a sliding glass door. The patio walls are lined with bamboo, a couple taxidermied blue marlin, and some seaside-themed, tropical decor. There are maybe 4 tables and a cluster of chairs. I imagine, in the heat of the summer, it gets pretty hot and uncomfortable in here. And yet, reading the food reviews will make your heart go pitter-patter. Their specialty is mariscos with a Baja spin. Ceviche, shrimp cocktails, fish soup, fish tacos and burritos, to name a few. They also have swordfish and salmon on their menu. We came for the fish tacos and were we in store for a surprise! The chunk of fried fish in each taco was as big as a huge chicken tender. Our tacos were filled with moist, great tasting white fish (not tilapia)! The tortillas, hence, had to be the larger size, not street taco sized. The batter was crispy and exceptional, with a light, herbal flavor. The finishing touch was a pile of toppings, including shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, finely chopped cucumber, and an insanely delicious white crema-mayo sauce. I think the unexpected cucumber added a unique, refreshing element to an already excellent taco. The only downfall was that the corn tortilla fell apart before I could get it into my mouth. Heh, I can live with that...just give me a fork. If you thought the price of 1 taco ($4.50) was too expensive, you are wrong. One taco here is the equivalent of two tacos elsewhere. That's a great deal! This is not fast food. The fish is cooked to order. Plan on a wait. Although this is essentially a covered, outdoor dining enclosure with a dutch door style gate, please note. Pets are not allowed. There is no pet-friendly section, nor shady areas to park in their bleak parking lot. The irony of this was the number of off-leash dogs we saw wandering around the parking lot. We saw three small to medium sized dogs, and no owner. We ended up bringing our food and personna-non-grata pup home. They did a nice job with the fish tacos, and one of their customers assured me the fried and/or grilled shrimp tacos and mojo de ajo shrimp were excellent. This means only one thing...we shall return, but without the chihuahua fur baby.

Ambiance of nice and they have several televisions for entertainment. The red chilaquiles had good flavor and lived the crunch. However, they only came with one egg. Also, loved that they have handmade corn tortillas. Now, keep in mind for the negatives. I know everybody's taste buds are a little bit different than mine but this is just my opinions. For me the carne asada tacos were very bland as far as the meat but the tortillas were great. I was not a fan of the red or green salsas. The beans lacked a little flavor and missing something. The rice was just okay. As far as the prices, well I felt they were a bit higher for the portions. However, I would definitely like toy return to try something new ie, menudo or mariscos.
