The ladies at this a lindora clinic made it for me. Yes, you have to follow their program and eat how they tell you and stay active and drink your water. It works if you do the work. The shots help but it's not a miracle cure. There is no magic pill. You lose the weight if you follow their program. I did. They taught me how to eat and what to eat and when. I'm happy eating every two hours. Their iced tea helped me drink all my water daily. It's been a year and I didn't lose as much as I wanted but I did lose and still managed to live my life and not starve. The ladies there care, if you let them. This is an awful company, because of the contract you have to sign. They are completely inflexible if you need to end your contract. I was a great customer. I went 4- 5 times a week, loved the staff on site and spent tons of money on supplements and food. I wanted to end my contact because I had a miscarriage (which lead to increased anxiety) and Am now currently pregnant. I tried to end my contact. In doing so I went through all of their loops // filled out paperwork and got an official doctors note. I sent an application in July // it is now October and I continue to be billed each month. When I talk to the office, the only response I have ever gotten is, there is no new result, and we will relay you message, then get back to you". This of course does not happen so I call again and they say the same thing. This company does not have any kind of customer service or accountability. Even though the program itself is a good program, I would not sign up because of the contract. The business people and doctors that support the contract are completely unethical read more

My husband signed up for a year and stopped going half way because he couldn't do their diet anymore. I asked them if they can stop charging my credit card and we would like to cancel. They have been refusing to stop and want a medical condition statement from his doctor. I'm baffled and beyond upset with them. I called their corporate and they were worse to deal with. I'm not sure if you all know this ...but while we are asked to stay home to prevent the spread of the Covid 19- Lindora is STILL charging members their monthly fees whether or not we are coming in! They have remained open for those who still are willing to come in. But for those who are not risking it are STILL BEING charged . When I spoke to the representative about my fear of coming in because I have an elderly parent who is at risk, all she said was "I'm sorry since we still remain open we are still charging members" They are extremely insensitive and out for the money rather than the well being of their members- watch out members... Application post/Review: I came in about a year ago needing to try something new to motivate me and help me achieve my weight loss goals. I have very special health needs that limit what I can eat and how much fluid I can consume. I was impressed that they had me do the blood panel and meet with their Dr BEFORE they would accept me or take my membership money. Nicole is my wl councilor and she always takes the time to answer any questions and walk me through whatever I need. I can't say enough good things about this staff. I've been coming to Lindora Sherman Oaks since 2012. Leslie is one of the nurses here and she is absolutely amazing. She really cares about her patients and helps me get back on track when I fall off. I am still going to this clinic now even though I moved and am now closer to the Glendale one. Leslie is a big reason for that because she knows her stuff and helps me even when I feel like giving up. It's a lifestyle change so she encourages me to keep pushing. Let me start off by saying how much I love the staff at this location! Nicole and Lisa are the best, they are so sweet and knowledgeable! It makes it a lot more enjoyable to go in everyday. I embarked upon a weight loss Journey with Lindora in January 2019. I bought a year's program with them, payable monthly. When Covid hit I told them I couldn't come in any more because of an immune compromised family member. Nikki, the clinic manager, was sympathetic but she told me they were open every day and 'corporate' wouldn't refund my money. I was and am shocked. I recently went to the Northridge office to make sure I was following the diet correctly, in which the nurse brought to my attention that I wasn't eating correctly and completely made over my menu days...... Lindora has been great with my weight loss program and weight management. I've lost about 20 pounds and they make it seem so easy. I mean it is hard work, but it's easy to follow their directions and eat more protein and less carbs. The have vitamin b shots that give you more energy. I love the staff at the Sherman Oaks location. They really work with you to lose the weight and are very friendly. The protein bars and food at Lindora also taste great! Not only are all the women here super friendly and supportive they are also knowledgeable ! When you come in although you may be apprehensive or feeling down, that all goes out the window when you're enthusiastically greeted by name daily! The first couple weeks are the hardest, especially if you love all the wrong foods like me... but honestly 5 weeks in, I now have a better understanding of my body, the foods I consume and how to lose and maintain weight. I don't have a problem with the program... I have a problem with the staff. Not very educated in weight loss, but pretend to be. I had one nurse tell me sugar alcohols count in this program. Another one told me they do NOT. Every time I would go in, it would be the same questions- over, and over. Which I understand, it's a repetitive weight loss program. However if you see someone is plateauing - you have to be able to change the speech up a bit! Anyway, I don't think it's worth the money to be honest. Just eat eggs and string cheese (and water). That's all I ate basically on this diet!! read more

I've hesitated writing this review because I have mixed feelings. Let me begin with saying this program works. As with any weight loss journey, however, it will depend on the individual. Either you want to lose the weight and keep it off or you do not - it really is as simple as that. I started the program in July of 2016. By approximately March of 2017 I lost a total close to 115 pounds. Yes, that may seem like too "fast" of a loss, but that is what Lindora educates you about - how to lose it and keep it off. It has been almost two years since this journey began and I am extremely proud of myself for having kept my weight off. It if it weren't for Sue (she is no longer there unfortunately), I do not think I would have made it or kept my weight off. The program is VERY expensive and I am finding myself still paying off my credit cards. Mind you the fees do not include food or vitamin shots which are also very expensive. At the end of the day I simply could not put a price on my life. My reservations about the program stem from the fact I paid for booster shots ( about 15 dollars a shot or maybe less and I had six left ), and then was told I could not use them unless I paid almost 300 dollars for additional blood work since it had been a certain amount of time since my last lab with them. Lindora does allow you to get lab results from your own personal doctor, but they will still find some kind of way to squeeze more money out of you by saying they need certain kinds of tests done. I simply did not have enough time in the day to drive to their location for my check in and to get a booster shot. I would even call them at least once a week to let them know. This is why I didn't use my last six shots. On one occasion I was misinformed about when my last date was that I could use my shots and that is a big reason why I was out the money I spent on those shots; we all make mistakes and I get it. At the same time, being they gave me wrong information, I should have at least been reimbursed for some of those shots. So, yes Lindora works. If you have money and want to lose it, I recommend the program but with reservations. My advice is to make sure to use your shots in the allotted time and get correct information, and make sure the information is accurate. The three star rating is solely for Sue. She was an amazing nurse and everything I know was because of her. She is retired now; I am hoping someone has "attempted" to fill her shoes. I wish I could have given Lindora a five star rating because I really am so grateful for them educating me about how to live a healthy active lifestyle and I love it. The flip side is the money and a bit of the shadiness they do to get more out of your pocket when it really isn't necessary. read more

If I could I would give zero stars. I am on my second 10 week program and have been struggling with losing and then gaining back 2-3 lbs over the course of the program. Today I found out that the 15 almonds that I have been eating, sometimes twice a day, is not what I should be doing. I was told at the Sherman Oaks clinic that I could have 15 almonds (it is on the sheet of paper given to me at the clinic that was filled out by Nicole) as a protein serving. They have looked at my journal each day, seen that I am eating these servings, discussed why I have not lost weight, but never mentioned that the 15 almonds is something I should not be eating twice a day.. I called the Lindora Clinic in Glendale and was told that they tell their clients not to eat almonds and if they must never more than 6. They didn't understand why I was told 15 almonds were okay to eat. Nicole at the Sherman oaks clinic didn't want to discuss this, spoke to me for about 2 minutes, said she heard my frustration but she had clients in the office and would get back to me. I am very upset about this. This was something that was missed by the Sherman oaks and Northridge clinics. read more

I've been coming to Lindora Clinic (specifically the Sherman Oaks location) for about 4 months now and have to say I feel like I've finally found a place to hold me accountable in a good way. The program itself is pretty standard in that it focuses on a low carb high protein lifestyle to help you lose the weight. However I think what makes it stand out for me from other programs that I have tried are the employees. They are super nice and encouraging. And they are able to answer all of my questions and offer solutions when the scale doesn't budge or went in the wrong direction :-) I am still amazed by how attentive they are in that they know everyone's name and usually greet you upon walking in (it kinda feels like Cheer where everybody knows your name) Overall I would say if you are looking for a lifestyle change and a team that will support, encourage, and hold you accountable along the way, then this is the place. My only negative is that some of the food products can be very pricey (however, there is usually a sale once or twice a week to help combat the price). So sometimes it's just a matter of waiting for whatever it is you like to go on sale. read more
