BTW, this review is so totally overdue! Last year, I got my first awesome haircut from Sabina. I went to get a couple of long braids for cut "locks for love". After Sabina chopped off what seemed to be all of my hair, she suggested I get out of my 'one length, no body, boring' hair style and let her do something dramatic for me. She changed my life! I never thought I could look good with such a hip hairstyle. I've been back a couple more times and each time, my hair looks even more fabulous. I now overdue for a hair cut. Can't wait to get it set up. Everyone at this salon is super nice, very talented and totally worth whatever they charge (which is really not much for the talent that they boast). The salon is not real high tech or fancy, looks like your typical neighborhood salon. Although they typically work with appointments, I've been known to sneak in with my girlfriend on a given Saturday if Sabina is not swamped. Lori cut my very long hair back in august of 2019. I was super happy with the cut. Lots of layers, heavy bangs. Fast forward to now & i haven't had a cut since. My hair was back to being a long & heavy mane. I called and she took me right away. Great wash & rinse, awesome haircut and a blow dry. Her prices are incredibly cheap in comparison to her skills. I am used to getting my hair cut for a measley $8 at home in Ohio by my barber who was my first and only barber, so I was hoping to find somewhere that I could get a decent hair cut for a somewhat affordable price (come on, I have short hair, and do not require much styling!) A co-worker told me about this small salon around the corner from her apartment and mentioned they were giving hair cuts for $20. That sounded like a much better deal than $45, which is what some of my friends pay to get their hair cut. I stopped in right after work to check the place out. The salon had a homey feel to it, and there was a big dog in the salon - I assume the owner's pet. I met DENISE, who was the girl who cut my hair. She was very nice and, when I told her just to make my hair look more "business professional", went right to work. We talked quite a bit, learning about each others backgrounds (we both had an Ohio connection), families, etc. I even ended up getting semi-invited to a Nascar party for this coming weekend at a bar down the street. My hair looked great, and I was definitely satisfied when I left. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, whether you are a guy or a girl. The two girls from work who went there had positive experiences, too. It sure beats the same hair cut I likely would have gotten for twice as much at some fancy-shmancy salon. Blah! I bought a deal for Lindsay Station through Deals Magazine as a treat for my mom for her birthday. We have a regular stylist at a regular salon, but I thought it might be fun to try a new place, just for the heck of it. It was easy to get an appointment, and worth the drive into the city. Sabina cut my mom's hair in no time flat, giving her a flattering look for her special day. Everyone there was nice and friendly, and we would definitely consider going back. read more

I have been here a few times and I have always had great experiences. I am very bad at describing what it is that I want- Mary and Lori did a great job translating my awkward gibberish into great haircuts for only $20. Another thing to note is that they do only accept cash/check, but the one time I didn't have cash- they didn't force me to use some random ATM. Lori just told me to stop by whenever I got the chance to pay. Now I wouldn't walk in there expecting a handout but its small things like that, in addition to quality haircuts at a reasonable price that will keep me coming back to this place. I have very challenging course, think, black hair and most high end salons miss the mark when it comes to highlighting my hair....not MARY, she found a great color and blended it perfectly. I've been going to Lindsay Station for 3 or 4 years now. I've had my hair cut by most of the women there but now I've been going to see Mary specifically. Favorite things about the place: 1.) Mary does a fantastic job. She's just consistently good, which may sound like a mundane nod but as most guys know, having one good haircut by a person does not guarantee she (or he) will repeat it the next time. Mary always does. 2.) This place is under-priced for the area. I don't know of another salon that does such a good job and charges such low prices. A good men's haircut for $25 is a bargain. 3.) The atmosphere is relaxing. It's not a stressful place. Just good vibes and very nice people running the shop. I've recommended it to all my guy friends and they've all become steady clients there. For a guy, I'm more than average picky and this is the place I've been looking for! Mary knows what she is doing!! Prices are totally reasonable. I used to go to a more expensive salon (than, say, Haircuttery) and was not as impressed as with Mary's skills. She just knew what to do. She's really funny too!
