Pretty good first visit to this location in October 2024. I was leaving an outlet across the street with the intention of going to the Lindt Outlet in Stratham. While sitting at the traffic light I saw this location and thought hey, I just saved some time and tolls while I parked. This location is fairly large in comparison to other shops I have visited. I was greeted almost immediately and was able to have a few questions about upcoming products quickly. Making my way to the back of the store was a very good selection of discounted pre-packaged bags that I somehow made room for in my carry on bag! I have become a big Lindt fan... consistently very good quality and an exceptional variety! read more

It's headquartered here in little Stratham, NH and Phil gets to be on the tasting panel and get a grab bag of new product every month or two. (I'm the wordsmith he calls to get new adjectives for "creamy", "rich" and "smooth"; I clearly pulled the short straw). We were greeted warmly, handed an over-stuffed tasting panel swag bag then my eyes settled on the veritable ocean of chocolatey goodness, all the Lindor truffles of varying flavors and multi-colored wrappers laid out in a sea of color. I wanted to swim in it. I didn't want to leave for two reasons: The delicious aroma of chocolate and the store being cooled to perfection to protect their decadent goods. Great array and selection of chocolate to chose from. The ambiance was quiet. A friendly staff member greeted us and offered us a selected sample for tasting. We had ample time to chose what we wanted. After paying for my purchase, I asked Debra, the cashier that I would like to order a cup of coffee and a small hot chocolate to go. She furiously replied back to me and said that I should have asked for it during my first transaction and that now, she will have to ring the register again for a second time. She made a very big deal out of it. She turned on a sour attitude just because I ordered two hot drinks after I paid for my original purchase. She was not pleased at all. I really did not appreciate to be addressed in that manner especially in front of my children. I was courteous and polite with her and avoided any form of arguments. It was such an inconvenience for her to press a button to prepare two basic hot drinks after I paid nearly $10 for them. This is unacceptable! If using a cash register, pouring coffee and hot chocolate in a cup is such a complicated ordeal for Debra, then Lindt Factory Outlet is definitely not the place for her to work. Opening the door, the aroma of chocolate hits you in the face, and any willpower you had to only buy one thing disappears. Bestie and I had to explore this store when we saw it on Yelp as a local attraction to where we were staying in Exeter. I usually buy another famous brand of truffles for my daughters for Christmas, but this year, I decided they're getting the Lindt Lindors instead. So, not knowing what to expect, we ventured in to find a whole aisle of Lindors, about fifteen feet long, immediately in front of us. I was literally a kid in a candy store as I filled a box with these sweet little balls of goodness, carefully counting out the number of each variety to divide among my girls (there was a special that day - 150 Lindors for $40 - roughly 4.5 pounds). The associate who was assisting at the counter helped me find the varieties I was looking for, and weighed my selection a couple of times until I had enough. This done, we looked around the rest of the store. I found the selection of Excellence bars, and grabbed some of the 99% cacao variety for gift for some of my friends (you don't eat these like your average chocolate bars--you take a very small bit and let it melt on your tongue. It pairs well with red wines - a Cabernet or a Shiraz were the recommendations). Meanwhile, Bestie was wandering around and picking out her presents for people. There is a wide selection of all the Lindt products, and making a choice was tough. She finally made her choices, and we got out of there before we started buying for ourselves. We had no frame of reference to gauge prices, other than they were cheaper than our local stores. This was the most dangerous shopping we did--the temptation to load up was immense. We are glad there isn't a Lindt store close to where we live--it would be our second home. read more

Love this little stand-alone outlet with lots of chocolate of all types. Truffles, holiday candies, pre-holiday sales, cooking chocolate and eclectic flavors such as peppery chili chocolate bar. Even though the sign on the store says outlet,this place is clearly NOT an outlet. Yes they do have just about every item that Lindt produces, but your going to pay more for it than you would in a regular store. As an example, I stopped in to make my own bag of Lindt truffles, this "outlet" sells them for $15.99lb, but you can buy a 15.2oz bag at any store for $8.99. read more

I've been to this location twice and both times it was a terrible experience. First time (summer 2015) I was overcharged and they refused to credit me. Second time I went in to redeem a promotion that clearly said "no purchase necessary " and the girl tried to tell me I had to buy something. Poor training of staff. Other locations are great (Manchester, Londonderry, Merrimack) but this one is awful. Good chocolate- terrible staff. read more
