After trying the conventional doors, I finally waded into the garage and called out several times before the lone mechanic emerged from the far side of the most distant bay. I tried to explain my problem and interest in having him look at my car, but he seemed totally uninterested. I'm not sure if it was my heels, my short skirt or just the fact I was female, but he was incredibly condescending. As the daughter and granddaughter of a mechanic, with years of experience working on my own cars before moving to Boston, he was incredibly flippant, unprofessional and sexist. if i had a kid in boston, i would INSIST that harry was the only mechanic working on their car…read more why? because he treats it like every car that comes in his daughter's car and goes above and beyond to make sure it's safe. it doesn't matter what you come in for - he's going to check your tires, top off your fluids, put the car on the lift and inspect the brake lines, hook up the compressor and blow all the leaves out from under your hood, etc. now i'm fairly capable when it comes to car stuff so i don't go to harry because i need babying. i go to him primarily because he does quality work at a fair price, but also because i'm interested in car maintenance and harry not only tolerates, but encourages my "what's that do? why'd you do it like that? what happens if we did this? why can't we do it that way instead? what was that thingy called again? can i try?". now i personally like going and hanging out, but if you want a quick in-and-out then harry's not your guy and you should probably hit up some corporate chain that won't bother you with things like asking about your family, and remembering your name. wouldn't wanna waste time that you could otherwise spend staring at a backlit screen.

The one thing he loved and left me was my 2018 Infiniti Q60. My neighbor brought me there to fix my car. I by accidentally got stuck on this huge dumpster that my land lord put in the driveway. My passenger side door and panel got all messed up Anyway, my neighbor used to work there for a year in a half. He brought me there and we talked to the main guy that HE USED TO WORK WITH. When I picked up my car the guy pretended he didn't know him. My neighbor also works at a body shop and he swore to me that this place simply fixed my door and panel and took the money for the new/used door. That's just one part of the story. Now 2 months after my fiancé passed away, I went to Town Fair Tire and got 4 Brand New tires. This place LITERALLY STOLE MY TIRES and replaced them with 4 old ones and today I drove my car and the left front tire is now almost flat. Not only that, but the tires are not placed on my car right. The left back tire I guess is supposed to be on the front right. It's going to mess up my car, my alignment. I have a receipt. I'm going to the police station to see what I can do. They Deny Everything!!! I have never really written a review ever in my life. I'm writing this because I AM WARNING YOU!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! Im still in shock about this. My car was rear-ended in a minor accident, and when my insurance company gave me a list of places I…read morecould take it for repair, HTAB was at the top of the list and I picked them due to their being within an easy 10 minute drive from home, plus their stellar Yelp reviews. Sometimes businesses with high Yelp ratings disappoint, leading one to hypothesize that they must've paid some "reputation management" outfit to inflate their numbers through the use of shill reviews by AI-generated sock-puppet accounts. (Yelp tries to combat that but there's only so much they can do given today's scale of shady internet shenanigans.) Well this is one place that totally does deserve all its glowing feedback! This place turns out to be an owner-operated business, and I dealt directly with the owner who was a both very knowledgeable and relatable young man, I'm guessing in his mid 30s tops. The other two employees I interacted with were similarly very pleasant and helpful folks...none of the gruff or sullen vibes you often encounter from service workers in this region. When I told them that I would be going out of town in a few days, they expedited the work so that my car would be ready just in time---and most impressively, they kept me updated on its status (via both text messaging and email) nearly every day until I came back to pick it up! Not only was the work done flawlessly making the car look brand new, but they even gave it a free car wash AND full interior detailing! (It had been covered in road salt/grime from a recent snowstorm and I had not vacuumed the inside for almost a year, lol---so they got their money's worth from whatever car wash place they must've taken it to, lol.) I only wish EVERY business could be as damn near perfect as these folks, let alone car-related businesses! Can't recommend them enough, and would definitely go back if, gods forbid, I got into another accident again.
