I know first hand why Auto Body Clinic has so many great Yelp reviews. I brought my 2024 Ascent here and had a great experience. My front driver's corner had been backed into and I was concerned about matching my pearl white paint. Communication was terrific, I received updates by text every few days. When I picked up my car it was absolutely perfect, I can't say enough about how happy I am with the repairs. I was completely insured, so I didn't have any out-of-pocket, and the quality of my repair is worth every dime the insurance company paid! I've come here several times now (unlucky I know) and I have been pleased with their service every time! I formerly own an acura rsx which was involved in an accident. The car itself had some aftermarket work done to it and they were able to install and order the correct aftermarket pieces without any issues. All insurance claim work were handled by them and my insurance Company. My mother has been involved in a few accidents as well. She brought her car to another body shop (lower end) when she had the front of her car nearly destroyed (not totaled). They were able to turn her car around within the week and the car looked brand new! Recently I was doing some DIY on my own car (Lexus), and one of the exterior door handles had a part that snapped which prevented it from working. To make matters worse, the child safety lock was triggered so the door could not open from the inside either. With the help of some personal research, I was able to buy some used parts that would be used to replace the handle entirely. The guys had to essentially cut off my old door handle, use a tool that fit inside the little hole to unlock the door itself and then re-assemble the door while using my part I ordered. Job was done within 4 hours which was more than reasonable and they even did a quick exterior wash! I am not sure the severity of other people's job requests or incidents, but for me, I ordered my own parts first and knew exactly what needed to be done ahead of time. I just did not have the tools and or confidence/experience to do it properly so I essentially paid only for labor. They are a very honest business and I have been happy with their service every time and this recent encounter with my door handles solidified our long term business relationship! I will keep them in mind as I either 1) brake something during my DIY's or even 2) consider them help me with various projects if they are willing/able to do so. Thank you Jim and team! read more

This is the 2nd time i've had to bring my vehicle to them spread years apart. The repairs were nothing less than perfect. They communicated very well and gave me updates so i knew how long to expect. Received the car back 1 day early and see that the car had been detailed inside and out even though i only had minor rear bumper damage. Car looks brand new. PROS: I brought in my Volvo S40 twice to this place. First time I needed a front-skirt reglued. They did a fantastic job and the price you just can't beat. The manager (bold fella whos name I can't remember) was very pleasant, professional, gave me a quote and a time frame and everything was executed to his word. The only thing is that they forgot to scrape off some of the old glue. I didn't want to return to get this done BUT I did make a second appointment to have my trunk rust spot removed / painted over. When I returned, they touched up that job at no extra charge. I was happy with the service, speed, and quality of work. Second time I came back to get a rust spot removed and repainted on my trunk. Once again I was met with a great estimate price, two day time window and they did not dissapoint. The end product looked FANTASTIC! They also removed some of the excess glue on my front skirt at no charge. Because I was tight on time to pick it up, their flat-bed truck driver brought my car back. The only issue was that when he was unloading the car, the front skirt got scraped a little (under it). Its invisible to the eye unless you lie down under the car, BUT I saw it happen and I was rather surprised that he didn't do anything about it. Bottom line is this... You get EXCELLENT service. They do an EXCELLENT job and they know their work very well. Their pricing is more then reasonable and their work is done fast. In my first visit, scraping off some of the old glue should have been done, but for whatever reason it was still there and the drop off was an optional thing they offered and didn't have to. ABC took care of everything, they worked with my insurance company, they did the auto body and mechanical work. They constantly kept me in the loop via texts on what the status of the repair was and how it was progressing. They were pleasant and professional and always available. Over priced. They try to gouge. Don't go here. They tried to charge $2,000 to repair a scratch.

I've been here twice, and I should have learned the first time. Please do not bring your high end car here. Your insurance company may try to steer you here, but resist. The front of my car is all chipped only 6 months after (this is exactly what happened the first time) They will go the cheapest way possible for instance putting in regular green coolant when I specifically made them aware that my car required factory approved coolant. Then they lied about it. I refused the car and made them flush it out and add the correct coolant as the incorrect coolant would ruin my new cooling system. Also, as the work was done in the spring, I guess they felt that they didn't have to recharge the AC. My insurance was billed for it, but it was not done. I had a new condensor, which would require my system be recharged. I had to pay my mechanic to do it, and there were no leaks found. The people here are very nice, but nice doesn't fix your high end car correctly. read more

I brought my car here after I had hit something and needed some dents to be fixed. Reading Auto Body Clinic was fantastic. They fixed my car in a VERY timely manner, even quicker than the estimate. They arranged for the rental company to pick me up, and I was able to drop and leave the rental at the Auto Body when my car was done. People were friendly. Service was amazing. They even cleaned the inside of the car for me! They also handled the insurance. I didn't have to do anything. I'd have given them a 5, but I don't love that they don't work weekends, because sometimes it's harder to drop the car off during the week. They do have an 8 am start time, which is great...but there are no late hours either. All in all, I loved this place, and would get my car repaired here again. Highly reommended. read more

The independent inspector that did my turn-in inspection must have seen the carfax and saw I was in an accident. He asked who did my auto body work because they did a really beautiful job. someone backed into me and their insurance company recommended the auto body clinic in beverly, who couldn't even get my car in for over a month, then the one in peabody, which is closed for renovations, and finally the store in reading, which is nearly an hour away from where i live. they told me that it would take a week and that they were very busy, then called me 2 days later to say that my car was ready. that was great, except it was a friday and i had plans. they offered to leave the keys under the visor overnight, while parked outside of their building so i could get it saturday, but i didn't want my 2-year old vehicle unlocked with the keys in it overnight so i canceled my plans and got it on the friday. when i looked at it in the light the next day i noticed that the spare tire cover was cracked and had a couple of weird dents in it. i called and they said that they thought it came in that way, but they didn't have any notes on it. i took some pictures and emailed them to them and they emailed the intake picture back to me, but i couldn't tell anything from it. they offered to put a new one on for $150 - their cost - but i really don't want to drive an hour each way to have that done. the repair is ok, but the trim piece on the door isn't that great. they oversprayed the undercoating and as my vehicle is white, it shows under the door frame. they do detail the car, but it stank of what they used to clean it when i picked it up and the seats were still damp. i should have taken the vehicle to IRA Collision, which does a superior job. read more

I was recently rear-ended and my insurance company recommended I take my car to the Auto Body Clinic. I called on a Thursday, had an appointment to drop off on Monday morning and had the car ready for pickup by Wednesday afternoon. They replaced the impact bar and rear bumper. I was impressed with their quick turnaround. Everyone I interacted with there was responsive, courteous and professional. While I'm not a car expert, the work looked good.
