Both my wife and I really like our hygienist.  Although forced by the pandemic to revert to manual tools (vs. the more modern power-washing method), her technique is as close to perfect as is humanly possible.  Never any bleeding or accidental pokes, which have happened many times with other hygienists.  And although today was my first filling from the dentist, it was my 4th or 5th cleaning (we became new patients last year), so that assessment has a solid data base behind it. And my wife has had one of their crowns that they make while-U-wait, right there in the office (total time about 2 hrs) and it actually fit better than either of her other two, both of which required her to return after a few days to have the temporary crown removed, which can be painful.  Fantastic! I called and made my appointment. At the initial call, I have provided all my insurance information. The first available date was out more than two months. In the mean time. I filled out a lengthy questionnaire online that included dental and health conditions, but was quite extensive. Than, the day before the appointment, they called me to inform me that they are not in network. Since I did provide my insurance information on the initial phone call when the appointment was made, they had ample time to figure out if they in fact were not in network, yet they claim that because they just got my filled out form, they did not know sooner that they were not in network.The bottom line is that I lost more than two months of time and I really needed to see a dentist, and they showed zero interest in taking any responsibility for waiting until the last minute to inform me of this key fact. While the dental services might be good, but treating potential clients with such low level of care provides a picture that is less than desirable for wanting to be a client or a patient to such an outfit.

Upon being brought to the room, the dental hygienist and dentist were very nice. I came here for a filling and both of them were joking and having like conversations to whole time, which made it very relaxed. There was a small dog walking around the office, which was super cute and also allowed me to pet her while I was getting the operation done. But after taking x rays and seeing I had two wisdom teeth exposed on my left side and two still under gums on right. They referred me to one of their specialists to get the wisdom teeth extracted first in two weeks. So they sent me off to deal with this excruciating pain till then. Needless to say my wife and myself were not ok with this. So made a few more calls and found Emergency Tooth Doctor. They got me in same day and they are the best place I've ever been to. Entering was just like every office but when talking with someone they were concerned about my pain and how I felt. When going over the options they provided, which did not include wisdom teeth coming out. They asked me what treatment I would prefer. I've never had any dentist ask that. They did give their recommendations to extract both but agreed that if both came out I'd have no molars on my left lower side. Made my decision and plan for root canal and 1 cracked tooth extraction. They got it done very quickly and thru the entire processed the asked if I was doing ok. This is the best dentist I've ever dealt with and will be back. even tho I don't live in this state I will make sure when coming back to Oregon for work to have appointments scheduled.
