$20 blowouts!!! Are you kidding!??!! I love this place. I have curly unmanageable hair and I love getting it done but the prices for regular blowouts have gotten insane. I passed by this place and I saw "20$ blowouts" on the sign. I had nothing to lose so I walked in. They were so nice and energetic I loved the energy here. I got the blowout and was in and out in 30 minutes. It usually takes an hour!! He got all my roots and smoothed it out with beautiful waved. I'm never going anywhere else again! Highly recommend. I have been going to Linea for about 6 years. Roberto is fantastic!! I have very fine hair but tons of it and cutting it can be challenging. Many times it is not cut right wet and then it drys funny and makes home styling difficult. From the very first time Roberto cut my hair is was amazing. He is super precise and really takes his time. I also never really know what I want done and give vague direction. Roberto takes my vague direction and gives me a beautiful cut. I never have any issues with home styling. Had the best experience at Linea! Super easy to make an appt. I left a message, Roberto called me right back and scheduled a next-day Friday lunchtime appt. The salon is modern and spacious (for NYC), conveniently located right off 3rd Ave on 29th St. Anna did my keratin-- they use Coppola, which I know to be quality. Very nice & informative in answering my questions on keratin care & getting partial highlights. She was really friendly-- comfortable but not overly chatty. Great attn to detail, I could tell she took pride in her work and wanted to do the best she could w/ the treatment. Took about 1.5 hours, standard timeframe for keratin. Really happy w/ the initial result. Interacted a bit with Roberto as well-- I think he's the owner. He was friendly and you can tell values his customers. The place just has a great, relaxed vibe. First off the Salon is Beautiful. This was my first time here as I bought a Groupon for Keratin. I have gotten the Keratin done many times before but wanted to try somewhere new. I was greeted by Roberto and he was super friendly. Jay was my stylist and I couldn't be more happy. Not only is he knowledgeable about beautician, we had great conversation. At other salons they just slather on the Keratin product . Jay carefully took his time placing the product on my hair in sections. I love Linea. Marina has been cutting my hair for several years and I consider her a friend. She is truly one of the sweetest people I know and happens to also give me great cuts each time! It's a relaxed environment full of nice people who work there. I'm happy to spend a little money on things like hair cuts, so while they're not the cheapest place their prices are very reasonable. I have been going to Eddie for five plus years now. He gives me such good highlights that many people think my hair is naturally blonde. It's not! Eddie also gives me a great cut. My hair is curly, but if I don't get a good cut then it's frizzy. I have had blonde curly hair since I met Eddie. I also bring my dog with me. My hair takes hours to do and I hate to leave my dog home alone after being home alone all week. Linea is a dog friendly salon and Eddie even gave my dog a birthday bag of goodies for his birthday. In all seriousness, Eddie does a great job with hair and the salon is very laid back, it's a really nice place to go and feel comfortable, not a stuffy salon at all. I have a friend who has been using Roberto for years for her color and cut. She swears by him the same way I swear by Eddie! read more

Bad color but a good blowout. I asked Anna if she could match my color and touch up my roots. She made a mess of it. First she slopped the dye all over at least 1/3 of my highlights and then the color was too dark. Now I have a dark brown stripe all over my head and will have to get it corrected as well as putting my highlights back in. On the other had she gave a very good blowout. They said that color touch up was $65 (but will cost me a lot more to get it corrected) and the blow out was $45 but the bill came to $120. When I asked why they showed me a price list that said $65 and up and $45 and up. I won't be going back. read more

I've been getting my hair cut by Eddie for about 5 years now. He was the first person to ever color my hair. HE. IS. THE. BEST. I am a complete moron when it comes to figuring out hair color. Without much more than a guess/a little guidance from me, he has done highlights and regular color and it's always perfection. He is also incredibly intuitive and listens but he's not afraid to tell me if he thinks I should do something differently. He is always right. He has "vision" when it comes to hair. Not only has he never failed me but I always feel beautiful and cared for when I leave. I look forward to my trips to Linea. There's the added bonus that the whole staff is warm and welcoming.
