I asked for a blowout and she gave me beach waves. Not really what I was going for with the pictures I showed her. But for the main point they burned my face with the curling iron! It left a second degree burn mark. Refused to give me a refund at first, only a $100 gift voucher. But why would I go back if they burned my face? This place is a hidden gem. It's the 2nd floor of an unbranded building but it's a legit hair salon inside. Gigi was so wonderful. She immediately understood the look I was going for (Victoria's Secret blow out), and was able to cut flowing layers into my overgrown stick straight hair. She checked with me along the way, making sure my face frame layers and layer length were cut how I liked (right length, angle). She styled my hair with rollers and I left feeling like I was ready for my Victoria's Secret hair shoot. Loved getting my hair cut by Gigi and I can't wait to come back! read more

This salon engages in an unethical business practice: inexperienced wannabe stylists experiment on customers' hair to generate revenue and learn to cut hair. Gigi really ruined my hair and positivity. She lacks skill other than knowing how to style. There is no shape or look I can do to my hair that makes it look acceptable. I hope somebody ruins her hair and confidence like she did to me. Gigi literally took the scissors and chopped my hair haphazardly and now nothing is equal. It was like a revenge haircut. She practices on people to get better while making money. I will never forgive this salon for the damage they caused to me psychologically with their scamming hair stylist, Gigi. Don't be fooled if they show you their Instagram page, it's made with her only good cuts out of the "trial and error" cuts she does. Shame on your to run such an unethical business and ruin people's hair. I don't recommend this place to anyone. They post fake reviews and Yelp doesn't do anything about it. They have over 300+ unrecommended reviews by fake accounts. You have been warned. You can pay your money somewhere else and get excellent results. I have been looking for a hairstylist for the past year. I have thick straight asian hair and I find it hard to get a stylish haircut despite having "easy" hair. Vanessa did an amazing job, and was so thorough. She cut my hair while it was still dry, after the wash, and then again after the blow dry to make sure she could see how my hair fell. I felt super comfortable that she was listening to my asks (curtain bangs with layers and not too thinned out). She gave me useful tips on how to style my hair and said "a good haircut should mean that you don't have to really style your hair", and lo and behold, after I washed my hair, I had a cute style without needing to do anything!
