I know people love the drinks at Lineage, but I don't think their food gets talked about nearly enough. It always hits, so naturally I had to come out and try their summer specials! I was really excited for the guava matcha. While I love their matcha, I was a little underwhelmed by how little guava flavor came through. You can see the tiny layer of guava in the picture, and I would have loved a bit more of it in the drink. I am willing to give it another shot with extra guava! The carrot cake croissant was incredible! I also tried the jalapeño goat cheese scone and was pleasantly surprised by the level of spice. I could eat that every day! And of course, service is always great. The space itself is one of my favorite parts of Lineage. It is bright, airy from all the natural light making it such a great place to hang out! read more

I've read many great things about this place so I went in with a pretty high bar. I ordered my go-to which is a hot mocha. It was pretty terrible with zero sweetness and pretty small... like Napoleon. I also got a pastry in the form of a chocolate croissant, and the croissant part was one of the best with a super crispy crunchy exterior, but there could have been more of the chocolate filling. It was more than some others I've had, but still not enough. Is there ever enough filling though? It's not convenient for me, so I doubt I'll be back to give it another try. Lineage Coffee is a cute spot for serious coffee drinkers looking for something different. The coffee is usually consistent and they have tons of flavors like my favorite, Amaretto, that you can't always get at other coffee shops. Also, it's a nice place to meet someone or get a little work done in a quiet and clean environment. That said, I'd probably skip the bakery items. I've tried a few over time and they've either been stale or overcooked, which is disappointing given how good the drinks are. A very spacious, bright, and welcoming interior were my first impressions at this location. The Lineage Coffee blends are consisted nicely roasted, and the service was solid. I ordered a flat white for my drive home from an event in the area and enjoyed the rich flavors. When I arrived, a few tempting bakery items were still in the case. The service was great! The cashier was very patient and kind, and the barista who made my drink brought my drink straight to where I was sitting! I think that's a nice touch so you can buy your food and immediately look for a good spot to study. I definitely prefer that to standing around lol. I got an iced amaretto latte. I loved it! It reminded me of how my family seasons our coffee with different spices to make it less bland without adding a ton of sugar. Really delicious! The only reason I can't give this five stars is because of the atmosphere. I personally cannot really relax in an all white, concrete building . It feels sterile. I'd recommend getting their coffee from the drive through and getting a nice spot in the UCF library if you value studying somewhere more cozy! The coffee is 100000% worth the trip. read more

This spot had been on my list for a while and I was very excited to finally have a chance to try it. The building itself has a cool look on the exterior and the inside has a bright and roomy feeling - which is not always the case with a coffee shop. Almost every table was occupied when I arrived. Parking was also extremely difficult and I had to park at the building next-door, which luckily is not open right now, but if a new business does come in there, I would worry about being able to find parking in the future. When I first sat down - and I was meeting someone else to talk business - I had to sit on a very tiny and uncomfortable stool. Luckily, the table next to us opened up and allowed us to both sit on the bench option, which was much more comfortable. We ordered two oat milk cappuccino's and they came out looking very different. The drink was OK. It didn't have much flavor, and I think if I came back, I'd explore other options. To be fair, I am not generally a cappuccino person, but this had less flavor (espresso or otherwise) then other cappuccinos that I have enjoyed. We shared a chocolate croissant, which was very good and very large (it was honestly perfect for sharing). I'd come back to try some of their other espresso drinks. read more

My dream coffee shop - I wish I could transplant them to Ohio! The service has been phenomenal every time we've gone and the drive thru is much appreciated for those of us with small children! The current seasonal lattes - cardamom rose and baklava are mouth watering good! I am a coffee snob and don't typically like flavored coffees, but these are perfectly balanced. When I heard that Lineage was opening near me, I was like "Yes!". I love all the coffee shops in Orlando, I visit all of them as much as I can, but my favorite oat milk latte is from Lineage, not only because of flavor but also because of the memories with friends and family. So, yeah, you can imagine how surprised I was when I walked in, saw the pastries and they told me "This is Lineage Cafe and Bakery". What? Lineage is also making baked goods? Whenever I go, I grab an oat milk latte and a pastry. Surprisingly, a lot of these pastries are vegan, and they taste delicious. You have to go early if not you will not find them. I think I've had the banana thing and an apple thing, sorry about the names. I may have had a muffin too, not sure (that's why I take a picture, to remember what I eat). However, the point is that these pastries are so good (and "healthy"), that they may be replacing the baked goods at other Lineage locations. All of the sudden, we have Lineage Bakery, I hope they branch out and start making good bread along with the pastries. That would be a hit! The place is beautiful also, nice white building, clean lines and lots of glass, concrete, grays and a touch of green, this coffee shop is a good example of great coffee, architecture and design. read more

Super cool space. I really feel calm and relaxed here from the aesthetics of the cafe. The coffee is good as usual. The sizes could throw you off if it's your first time at a Lineage cafe. I would suggest to always get the large size. If you read anything from this, is that TRY ALL THE CROISSANTS. It's literally the best croissant dough in Orlando to me. I typically like to wait after a few visits to review a place but Lineage was pretty consistent with how they did their coffee and space here so even though I came during the soft opening, I was impressed with how smooth everything was going. Their staff was super friendly and made me the perfect iced honey latte. The biggest differences here (compared to their other locations) are that they have a drive-thru, there's more seating and they now make their own croissants! I tried the mango-lime croissant and LOVED it. Made me instantly jealous that this spot wasn't around when I was a UCF student. I'd be studying here everyday with a cappuccino and croissant. The mango-lime filling was light, airy and just the right amount of sweet. Mango and lime tend to be strong flavors but it was just right. The exterior had a light glaze that helps keep the flakes in check so it didn't get too messy. They were a good size too. Ended up grabbing two more to-go for me and my wife to have for dessert that evening LOL The space feels similar to its other locations and looks very "Lineage" but it definitely has its own flavor. There are rounded arches throughout giving it a very modern, very Scandi-vibe, and the concrete siding on the counters even have that rounded fluted look which is subtle but a really nice design touch. There's a little more seating here which is always nice and for those students who can get there early enough, there's cushioned seating in some areas so you can camp out a little longer. Didn't get to peep the outlet situation so if you're going to work there, you may want to arrive already charged up. I'm terms of COVID safety precautions, their team was masked up, there was hand sani available and people were respectful of each other's personal space. This was during the soft opening so I expect that it might be more crowded during the soft opening (Nov 14-15) days and during the opening months so if you don't want crowds, try to visit during off peak hours. Overall, I'm excited for Lineage and for UCF students to enjoy some good coffee and pastries, as well as a great place to hang out and study. read more

This place is amazing! One of the few places close to UCF with sufficient parking, the store is nice and airy and has some excellent outdoor seating. I got the Iced Honey Latte and it was so good! Smooth, creamy; it was the perfect balance of sweetness and rich coffee flavor. Some places the sweetness is too overpowering, but here, you get that hint of honey sweetness and matches so well with the roasted coffee notes. The latte also just had such a lightness to it that in a blink of an eye, you've finished the whole drink. That's how easy it goes down. I'll definitely have to come back here again next time. This is a great cafe near UCF! My friend showed it to me and now I love to go here to get work done and enjoy the coffee. The atmosphere inside is great with different options for seating. The coffee is very good and they make it for you right away. My go-to drink here is a small iced mocha (~$5) and it is delicious. The staff is super friendly too. I do wish Lineage offered more options for drinks like frappuccino's though. I like how they accommodate for gluten free with gluten free brownies. I will be going back a lot! read more
