My daughters follow this boba shop on their socials so I had to stop in if for nothing else just the pictures. This is such a cute shop. It's bright and inviting and is true to its name with lots of bright yellow and lemon decor. I wasn't aware their drinks center around lemon flavor, not sure how I missed that. I decided to branch out from my norm and got a roasted Okinawa milk tea and a mango lemon tea both with tapioca bubbles. They were out of brown sugar syrup which I didn't realize would impact the flavor of the Okinawa tea so much. Having never had Okinawa tea I did not know what to expect. To me it's close to a mild coffee flavor. It wasn't very sweet which is likely because of the lack of brown sugar syrup. I probably would've liked it more if it had the brown sugar syrup. Next the mango option which was perfectly sweet and had bits of real mango pieces. Absolutely loved it. Glad I stopped and will definitely visit again when I'm in the area. This place is super cute. I love how clean it is. I also enjoy the decorations that they have in the promotions with the anime and their signature Boba. It was my first time with the girls trying Boba. I will try Ube and taro Boba. This is the second happy lemon location I have been to and it was more fun than the first! My 8 year old loved the decor and posing with the Happy Lemon man mascot inside. Everyone is always friendly at both locations and they explained the drinks we chose and how to enjoy them the best. This time I tried the strawberry black tea with 50% sugar, the seasonal Apple green tea with 50% sugar and the milk tea with the salted cheese. I appreciate the app ordering so much as it includes options such as light ice and 25, 50 or 75% sugar options. The strawberry black tea was refreshing and perfect for a hot summer day here in Florida. The seasonal apple was also wonderfully refreshing. Both of these drinks had the fruit inside the sealed drinks and not a bit of it was wasted. The milk tea with the salted cheese was the one I was most curious about. The milk tea was placed on the bottom with the salted cheese layer floating on top. The salted cheese was more like a cream cheese foam. We were told to sip the top layer of foam and then drink from the straw for the mix of milk tea. Or if we preferred to use the straw to mix the entire concoction as one. It was actually really tasty! I think the fruit teas were more refreshing as the milk tea with the foam was much more of a thick texture. Still every one was delicious! We will return to try more drinks! This is a good Happy Lemon location. Located close to UCF, it is yet another good option for bubble tea if you are craving a drink. I enjoyed their Cheese Foam teas. The cheese foam reminds me of melted cream cheese frosting. Slightly sweet and rich, it helps to balance out the roasted notes of the tea. Such a cute place in the UCF area! After eating I decided to walk over and grab some dessert from Happy Lemon! You can opt for a flavored waffle or go with the original bubble waffle which tastes just like a waffle cone! They make these fresh and to order there so it was a perfect dessert to have now that we have these cooler days in Florida! The service was quick and friendly as well. A short and sweet little review for a small and sweet little tea shop. There are an overwhelming amount of options, cheese teas, milk teas, lemon things, slushies, smoothies, and even bubble waffles! I came here one night with some friends. When I come to places like this, I need help from the employees to help me figure out what I want and what's good. Of course, everything is good, but I am just not very good at tea shops like this and am currently dialing in my preferred tastes. Not really sure about this place. I had high hopes after getting a recommendation from friends so I decided to try them. Their options are quite different than other boba shops in town. They have Salted Cheese drinks which sound interesting but I wasn't ready to be that adventurous. Their milk tea selection is a bit limited in flavors. I ended up choosing the Okinawa Roasted Milk Tea with Boba and my son got a Strawberry Green Tea with lychee jelly. We also decided to get a Bubble waffle as well. We didn't have to wait long for our order which was nice. The waffle was my favorite part of the experience. It was hot, crispy and soft all at the same time. Make sure you don't forget to order a dipping sauce for an extra $1. I forgot but it was still good without it. My first sip of my tea was tasteless. I thought maybe it didn't get mixed well but nope it was quite bland! Although I ordered 100% sugar level it tasted like I was drinking a tall glass of milk with boba with no flavor. I read some previous reviews that also mentioned their drinks were bland and not very sweet. I tasted my sons tea and it was the same thing. A little bit of strawberry flavor and no sweetness. Service is always great and the vibes are bright and airy. There's plenty of seating and a little bonus : there's a connecting door to their donut shop in the back. I was expecting it to be busy since it just opened but there were only a couple people ahead of us and we stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. It's not like it's my first time ordering Ube. I felt really bad asking for something else and the manager didn't really want to change my order and tried making up an excuse for fresh ingredients. Opened today and got there around 6pm and had a lot of customers but line was pretty short. Full of staff! Never seen so many in a boba place. The staff was so friendly explaining all the different drinks available. I got the Okinawa roasted milk tea with boba (they described it like a brown sugar boba tea but with a more tea taste, less dairy), either way it was delicious! I got 50% sugar and it was perfect. The boba had a really good consistency, tea was delicious, highly recommend this drink, remind me of the boba tea I have had in Taiwan! My husband got a regular boba tea and he enjoyed his drink too. I went during grand opening so I was able to try a lot of different drinks. The last time I had Happy Lemon was in Cali and they finally opened one here in Orlando! I would definitely recommend the refreshing lemon drinks rather than their milk tea. Perfect for a hot summer day as well! Mango Matcha shushy was alright, nothing too special and the mango does overpower the matcha but this was a fan favorite for most people. Banana Matcha was also an okay drink. The banana overpowered the matcha a bit as well. Boba milk tea with puff cream was like your average milk tea. Sadly I did feel like I didn't get enough puff cream in mine and it was semi sweet even though I didn't make any adjustments. Ube milk tea with taro puff cream and taro boba was also semi sweet but they did give a perfect amount of taro puff cream. I would prefer the puff cream at the bottom so you can actually taste it. Freshly squeezed lemon black tea also taste like it sounds. Good for a hot summer day but I would skip out on this one and try the mango lemon slushy and Jasmine Lemon Slushy with crystal boba. We also tried the dragon fruit slushy it was also a great drink but wasn't sweet as I thought. One of the best parts I think about Happy Lemon is that it is one of the only shops I know to open that late. It might have been just for opening weekend but it closed around 11 pm. Since they were running a BOGO deal I was able to try the Mango Lemon Slush and the Ube Milk with Taro Cream and Taro Boba. They were both really good. They weren't too sweet compared to some other boba places. The owner and staff were super friendly and speedy.
